Haha I know what you mean Nom. But last week me and DS ate so much junk food, complete parent fail!!! This week I vowed to be better. MrF works away so don't to feed him.

Thank you knickers & robot exam is maths gcse it's bloody hard!!!!but need it for uni place ??

Honey disney dates are the best, although I'm getting a little sick of let it go, and building snowman!!

Im with you girls on the weight loss. I need to shift some serious weight!! I read somewhere that grapefrhit/orange water helped flush out the system. I'm not sure, it tastes like drain cleaner ????

In TTC land I'm 5DPO MrF is still in horny teen mode. I'm sick of explaining sex and preseed are monthly occurrences only haha!!!

HopesUpKnickersDown · 13/06/2015 22:45

Go Frog! I'm sure you'll ace it, good luck!

I intend to clear the fridge of tasty treats tomorrow and then it's nil by mouth from Monday!

Frog you're a girl after my own heart, why can't these men be grateful for copious amounts of fertile window sex?...without being sex pests the rest of the month?

DH is stirring and I'm out of alco pops, fingers crossed it's not a stirring of the trouser department ??

frogbubbles · 13/06/2015 23:03

Knickers 7 times this month. I'm knackered, I swear I better be upduffed this month, or I will cry. I'm chaffed (is that even a word??) Thank goodness I can talk to you girls about this. It wouldn't go down well at book club haha!!!!

frogbubbles · 13/06/2015 23:05

Oh and sorry totally missed the first part of your post knickers, due to whining about "friction burn" Blush

Thank you, exam is Tuesday eek!!! Smile

ThePug · 13/06/2015 23:06

Frog I can't believe you've revised and cooked. On a Saturday! Superwoman. What exam(s) are they?

nomio Does that mean you get cash and get to go car shopping again? Are you going to try to find another one the same? Hope they sort it quickly for you so you're not off the road too long

mega Well I stayed in bed til 11 which was a.maze.ing. Took the dog for a walk in the park which was great as it was grey and windy so nobody there and we could let him off the lead for a runaround (he has a tendency to chase bikes/scooters/joggers or bark at people standing still taking photos/chatting/sitting on benches who apparently look "suspicious" to him). Then DH and I went to Lidl which is a novelty as it's just opened here! Our basket was ridiculous; bars of chocolate, biscuits, sweets, chocolate cereal. We did get kale (was it spinning who championed kale?) and strawberries though!

Honey Where in the SW are you?

Mummy the darkness is definitely there but I see what you mean about the faded side. Has your new thermometer arrived so you can tell in the morning whether you've ov'd yet? I'd say keep doing the tests for another few days and keep up the CoC.

Dizzy Glad you've got a better price. Still a lot of money, but if you're happy that clinic is just as good it's a worthwhile saving

knickers Grin that is too funny about the alcopops! My DH gets sleepy after alcohol too.

Rainy Don't stress yourself or make yourself ill before your holiday. Just do what you can. I saw the 30 day squat challenge on the Chat board a couple of weeks ago so thought I'd get on board with that before my holiday. Was up to 180 squats today but my bum is definitely improving so worth the effort.

I'm on CD6 and I think AF has buggered off so off for a shower then DH is making noises about CoC. In fact, he has just suggested going in the shower together to save time. Has he been speaking to MrMummy ??!!

DizzyMerry · 13/06/2015 23:15

I can only manage 7 times a month too around the fertile window. I'm usually horny during my period and lose the will after we have sex once!

Haha to the alcopop knickers. I need to try a clever trick with DH as most of the time he waits for me to settle in bed and pounces on me as I'm about to nod off!

I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum as I've been told not to lose any weight. I do put weight on really easily though but have been eating better since DD came along and I seem to get full quite quickly and used to get horribly bloated so now tend to stop before I'm too full.

DizzyMerry · 13/06/2015 23:16

Good luck with your exam frog.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 13/06/2015 23:21

Frog you've put the work in, you bloody deserve your bfp! I think chaffed vag is a common, but unwelcome side effect of ttc...get some comfy knickers on and put your feet up. ??

Pug, there must be something in the air...tonight another horny DH! Top marks for effort from our men folk!

HopesUpKnickersDown · 13/06/2015 23:35

DizzyM that made me laugh...I'm very familiar with that scenario, so annoying when you're just dropping off.

I'm envious of you being a sensible eater, unfortunately I eat through the bloating pain barrier. #musttryharder

DizzyMerry · 13/06/2015 23:44

I'm not that sensible knickers I still have a sweet treat every evening and somehow my stomach has no problems with that and I certainly won't fight back the urge either!

DizzyMerry · 13/06/2015 23:45

Also just to add knickers I started to find sex really painful when I had a full stomach so that was another reason for me to start looking into my diet.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 14/06/2015 00:05

Glad you've got your diet sorted. I'm turning over a new leaf, lots of fresh fruit and veg and no crap Smile

frogbubbles · 14/06/2015 00:06

Thank you dizzy hopefully I will pass exam! MrF works away, this month we were lucky as fertile fell just right. 9 days to go until I can start poas!!!!

Knickers I don't know how I would cope ttc without my big enormous pants and sudocreme haha!!

Mummyofonesofar · 14/06/2015 00:17

Pug yup new thermometer is here so will watch for rise. You should have taken him up on the offer, mine was worth it Wink

Mummyofonesofar · 14/06/2015 00:25

frog what are you going to be studying at uni? I'm wondering whether to quit my job and start uni. But dp wants us to get baby and preschool over with before thinking about any of that. That is years away!!! I am getting really bored of my job (admin) and thinking midwifery!

Mummyofonesofar · 14/06/2015 00:30

So need a mooncup. This bop without moving is a pain in the arse.....

megarobotdiscoparty · 14/06/2015 06:46

Ooh you should go for it mummy - midwifery must be amazing! I had daydreams of retraining as a midwife after having DS. Such an amazing and valuable job. Loving the idea of a sperm cup...another Bumsnet branded item. We're getting up quite the catalogue!

merry great they got back to you so fast. And a substantial saving! Do you know when you'll have the procedure?

Pug your Saturday sounds blissful! I got similarly giddy when Aldi opened near us. Still can't go in for bread without coming out with waterproof trousers/another leafblower/MORE tupperware/weird cheap booze. Dangerous!

Ah fifi you used it for your lp rather than ov....This is all fascinating stuff! I had never heard of it before.

knickers and rainy I used to be a personal trainer - I will come and shout at you!! Be afraid... (actually don't be, I am totally unscary which is why I'm not a PT anymore!). I like Pug's idea of a short blast of toning, be kind to yourselves. Holidays ahoy! Where are you both off?

frog good luck! Maths is terrifying. You are extremely brave!

How is pixa getting on after Fri?

Sorry for anyone I've missed - on my phone and making the most of 10 minutes peace before the day starts. MIL birthday lunch today with all the inlaws - will be bonkers but lovely. Good CoC last night, looking forward to seeing if that opk line is any darker later....

Honey85 · 14/06/2015 08:05

Haha frog we have a slight obsession with frozen too, although that's tailed off slightly in favour of Lilo & Stitch ...2 viewings yesterday! Good luck with you exam! I'm a bit of a maths geek but not sure I could pass a maths GCSE now lol!

pug I'm in Gloucestershire ... Are you sw too?

Got to love an Aldi or lidl binge ... Such a novelty to start with.

I did the 30 day squat challenge and sit up challenge last year and Defo noticed a difference. We used to have a dog and I'd be out walking every day for an hour ... Which kept me nice and trim and I can certainly tell the difference now. Obv can't go for a walk without a dog ha!

My dh is also a last minute pouncer in bed ... Last night I'd even been asleep on the sofa before he started his charm offensive! Obviously I had to oblige as I'm still in my wtf cycle and no idea what's happening ... Cd30 today.

Have a lovely Sunday everyone!

Mummyofonesofar · 14/06/2015 08:30

mega that's how I feel, I want to be making a difference! I had no idea what I wanted to do so went to college after DS and did an event planning & business admin course thinking I could work in London and have a great wage as a PA then join an events firm later on. Then plan changed when I moved oop North! The healthcare is shocking and I feel I would really enjoy something so meaningful.

spinningirl10 · 14/06/2015 08:58

Morning all Grin

Just thought I'd stick my head in and say helloGrin

How is everyone?
Rainy, I heard that your Dh had not such good results from his SA. if you're still around I just wanted to say please don't despair with this. My dp had really bad results. I got him on LOTS of vitamins for 3 months and the next test he had fantastic results. I know this isn't the case for everyone but hang in there and get him on the vits xx

Pixa · 14/06/2015 10:18

Oh balls! I have missed so much.

Starting ny catch up this morning.

Sammy you must be so excited about your puppy! Is it puppy visiting day today? Love the post CoC rocking to ensure you're catching all the sperm!

Knickers I loved the photo of Basil and Milo. I think I would opt for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or something small and similar. DH wants something that's a lot more work... like a beagle.

Eskimo those doggie Pj's are lovely!

Boris it sounds like you have had a lot to deal with lately. How is your DH?

Passing the gin to Queen. I hate limbo. Hope the family staying are keeping you nice and distracted!

Robot I think we need a picture of your rescue kitty! I am OV chanting for you. Sorry for the baby bomb. Flowers I like the aversion to panpipes! Enjoy the birthday lunch!

Nomio that's awful about the stupid woman who cut you up. Are you okay? Good news about the car!

Nomio and Robot we are going to be car shopping shortly too, we don't trust taking ours on long journeys which is definitely a sign of the end...

Mummy Yay for new thermometer!

DizzyNorth Chuckling at'In my head it was like trying to hit a fly with a water pistol from 30 paces.....!' I had the same thoughts. Have you seen the documentary about the sperms journey? 't is really odd to think that so much in our bodies is trying to get rid of the Sperm because it's a foreign body that shouldn't be there! I hope you have managed to shut down from work. How do you feel about visiting the GP?It is a scary step, but it's so needed and it puts proactive control back in your court. If you were local, I would happily have let you borrow my tent and stoves etc...

Fififolle I am so pleased for you! Congratulations. Grin Amazing news about the quadruplets.

DizzyMerry The SA results look mostly positive. It's good that the morphology can be improved with vitamins and supplements! It must be worrying for you still though. Flowers Yay for HSG, you're moving forward so quickly and so well. That is a lot of money for that test! Sorry for your insensitive MILs friend.

Nympho Enjoy Devon!

Rainy it is good to have someone you can be open with about it all. Sorry your DHs results aren't great.

Wood Wishing you all the best, it's positive that these investigations are taking place.

Frog I am loving your organisation! Fingers crossed for a Bfp for you. Laughing at the sex and pre-sees being monthly occurrences. Sex injuries, chaffing and friction burns are things of honeymoons and TTCing time! Best of luck with exams.

Spinning How are you?! Very pleased to see you! You have been missed.

Robot, Fififolle, DizzyNorth, Mummy, Pug, and everyone else thanks for asking about Friday. Honestly... it's been hell. DH had his appointment in the morning and the car broke down so had to go to the garage. We were so odd on Friday both on the verge of tears. I think it was just the realisation that we really may need medical assistance and this is the start of it; it's a long way from imagining our honeymoon baby.

Yesterday, we cried, talked and were just supportive. DH went to the gym first thing, came back and had made me breakfast in bed (which isn't really unusual) but he made a bacon sandwich (which is usual because he is a pescetarian), he brought flowers (second bouquet this week), bathbombs, and a framed picture from our holidays.

We spoke about how we can be supportive of each other and DH said that he just wanted practical advice. He can do his own research (and does, he started taking 1000mg of Vit C through his own research) but he thinks that I have more knowledge because of Mumsnet. We went through the different elements of the SA and what we could do if something came back not quite right. It was nice to talk about being proactive again.

I know I am a very lucky lady and I so very much appreciate my DH. I just keep reiterating that regardless of the results, we are in this together and the end game is that we will get our family.

Pixa · 14/06/2015 10:44

Just read through some of my posts and realised if looks like DH and I are always having heart to hearts. HmmConfused

frogbubbles · 14/06/2015 11:14

Mummy I'll be doing social work I absolutely 100% do not want to work with kids, so it will be either adult mental health or elderly social work.

Ooh mummy midwifery would be a pretty cool job. I can understand where DP is coming from but it's your choice.

Honey I love Lilo, bud t my fave Disney film is little mermaid. I love it. Your right about the maths it is terrifying!! Failed twice already so this is third time lucky!!!

Spins!!!!!!! Hello my lovely lovely lady!!! How the devil are you? I missed you x

Pixa I'm glad you and DH managed to have a good heart to heart about things. You DH sounds so lovely. I'm wishing and hoping things are going to be ok for you guys

Pixa · 14/06/2015 11:20

Frog Thank you. Adult Mental Health is a really interesting area in social work. I like elderly social work too. Why 100% not kids, if you don't mind me asking? Is it related to emotional resilience? I hate that term.

frogbubbles · 14/06/2015 11:25

What's everyone up to today? We were susposed to be going to jurrasic world but I've opted for a lay in andor revising yay! :/

6DPO nearly at the halfway mark! Should now have a little blastocyst and it should be just getting ready to implant.
