Oh balls! I have missed so much.
Starting ny catch up this morning.
Sammy you must be so excited about your puppy! Is it puppy visiting day today? Love the post CoC rocking to ensure you're catching all the sperm!
Knickers I loved the photo of Basil and Milo. I think I would opt for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel or something small and similar. DH wants something that's a lot more work... like a beagle.
Eskimo those doggie Pj's are lovely!
Boris it sounds like you have had a lot to deal with lately. How is your DH?
Passing the gin to Queen. I hate limbo. Hope the family staying are keeping you nice and distracted!
Robot I think we need a picture of your rescue kitty! I am OV chanting for you. Sorry for the baby bomb.
I like the aversion to panpipes! Enjoy the birthday lunch!
Nomio that's awful about the stupid woman who cut you up. Are you okay? Good news about the car!
Nomio and Robot we are going to be car shopping shortly too, we don't trust taking ours on long journeys which is definitely a sign of the end...
Mummy Yay for new thermometer!
DizzyNorth Chuckling at'In my head it was like trying to hit a fly with a water pistol from 30 paces.....!' I had the same thoughts. Have you seen the documentary about the sperms journey? 't is really odd to think that so much in our bodies is trying to get rid of the Sperm because it's a foreign body that shouldn't be there! I hope you have managed to shut down from work. How do you feel about visiting the GP?It is a scary step, but it's so needed and it puts proactive control back in your court. If you were local, I would happily have let you borrow my tent and stoves etc...
Fififolle I am so pleased for you! Congratulations.
Amazing news about the quadruplets.
DizzyMerry The SA results look mostly positive. It's good that the morphology can be improved with vitamins and supplements! It must be worrying for you still though.
Yay for HSG, you're moving forward so quickly and so well. That is a lot of money for that test! Sorry for your insensitive MILs friend.
Nympho Enjoy Devon!
Rainy it is good to have someone you can be open with about it all. Sorry your DHs results aren't great.
Wood Wishing you all the best, it's positive that these investigations are taking place.
Frog I am loving your organisation! Fingers crossed for a Bfp for you. Laughing at the sex and pre-sees being monthly occurrences. Sex injuries, chaffing and friction burns are things of honeymoons and TTCing time! Best of luck with exams.
Spinning How are you?! Very pleased to see you! You have been missed.
Robot, Fififolle, DizzyNorth, Mummy, Pug, and everyone else thanks for asking about Friday. Honestly... it's been hell. DH had his appointment in the morning and the car broke down so had to go to the garage. We were so odd on Friday both on the verge of tears. I think it was just the realisation that we really may need medical assistance and this is the start of it; it's a long way from imagining our honeymoon baby.
Yesterday, we cried, talked and were just supportive. DH went to the gym first thing, came back and had made me breakfast in bed (which isn't really unusual) but he made a bacon sandwich (which is usual because he is a pescetarian), he brought flowers (second bouquet this week), bathbombs, and a framed picture from our holidays.
We spoke about how we can be supportive of each other and DH said that he just wanted practical advice. He can do his own research (and does, he started taking 1000mg of Vit C through his own research) but he thinks that I have more knowledge because of Mumsnet. We went through the different elements of the SA and what we could do if something came back not quite right. It was nice to talk about being proactive again.
I know I am a very lucky lady and I so very much appreciate my DH. I just keep reiterating that regardless of the results, we are in this together and the end game is that we will get our family.
