bean the bus is moving much slower these days. Hope you decide to stay but if you don't then farewell and good luck with your TV journey x

Mummyofonesofar · 13/06/2015 17:03

Fuck sake!! *TTC journey

DizzyMerry · 13/06/2015 17:40

Good luck bean but don't feel you have to jump off the bus. You can post on here whenever you can.

frogbubbles · 13/06/2015 17:41

Wow the bus really is slow moving these usually there are six pages since my last post.

Hope everyone is having a nice Saturday. I've spent most of mine revising and cooking meals got a whopper of a chicken in tesco this morn. Cooked it and made four meals for next week so I'm organised for exam week!!

Nomio230 · 13/06/2015 18:12

Blimey, DizzyM, that is expensive. {shock]

Robot, have you considered Clomid? If you don’t tend to ovulate very often, then it might be an option for you. At least then you would definitely be in with a chance every month.

Sammy, I really hope you get your miracle BFP this month. Sounds like coC is going well.

DizzyM, not on Facebook?Shock The only person I know not on there is DH!

Knickers, I tried B6, but it didn’t help my LP. I have heard of others who it has worked for though.

Robot, I was tempted to try it, but read a lot of bad things which scared me off. Apparently it can really mess with your cycles.

Good luck Bean. Sorry to see you go.

Frog, you are super organised. I normally just throw a ready meal at DH during exam time!

Thanks to everyone who asked about my car. After speaking to the insurance company, I have decided to take the payout. I got a really good bargain on it, so will actually be getting a bit more than I paid for it. Hopefully it won’t take too long.

megarobotdiscoparty · 13/06/2015 19:39

nomio that's a real result on the car - well done!! Hope you find something good to replace it really soon. Clomid definitely works for me - it got us our DS! I didn't ov at all before that. We've finally been put back on it for this round of ttc (just one cycle so far) but during a month off due to complications I got a posi opk and became pregnant which sadly ended in MMC. This cycle I'm giving the Clomid a rest in the hope I can ovulate by myself again - felt like a bit of a miracle last time but maybe the MC will kickstart my fertility again . Sorry for the rambling history! Hope you haven't fallen asleep Wink That's very interesting about the cream. I hadn't heard of it at all before and wondered why consultants hadn't recommended it. Maybe just not widely tested yet?

Frog that is super organised. What's your exam for? Good luck!

Hope you enjoyed your booty call last night sammy! Any further with the opks today? I failed with CoC...just so tired and DH normally takes quite a lot of persuading that I couldn't be bothered with. However a line has appeared back on my opk again today so I'm getting back on the poor old horse whether he likes it or not! It's fairly faint but crossing everything for a positive in the next couple of days.

mummy how are you doing today? Any sign of a line? How long are your cycles normally? So annoying that our barbecues were cancelled unnecessarily! Ours was the annual nursery one which we missed last year, will be sad to miss it again. Bah, weather.

Pug how is your weekend of leisure progressing?

knickers it looks really interesting but I know so little about it! There's very little on official medical -y sites but lots of other places raving about it. I wonder if it would interfere with my Clomid when I go back on it...possibly. will be very interested to hear your thoughts.

Fifi how long were you taking it for? Did you find it helped with PCOS symptoms? Did it prompt ovulation do you think?

How are you today merry? And good luck bean!

Hope everybody's having a good weekend. I managed about half an hour at the food festival and had to leave DH to it - full of hippies! I am allergic to panpipes. Went home and had a lovely nap instead.

Honey85 · 13/06/2015 19:59

Hi ladies! Apologies for my lack of activity, I've been really rubbish at ttc so not had much to post hehe.

Quiet day here due to stupid rain! Stuck indoors with dd all day who has been up since 6 ... Yawn! After baking, and building we ran out of ideas so we've had disney films on all afternoon, oops!

Ooooh mega there was a food festival near me today ... Your not in the sw are you?

Mummyofonesofar · 13/06/2015 20:16

mega yes boo to stupid weather reports! Sorry about the food fair but great that you managed a nap! I'm cd20 here of wtf cycle, normally I have 27 day cycles but I have just tested and got my first nearly pos opk. Isn't quite a solid line so guessing not quite there yet. Opinions please!

honey Disney afternoons are the best!!

Managed to make ttc fun and jumped into the shower with dp when he got back from work. Shame the spermz would have been washed straight out! He has promised me a proper go with bop tonight though.

Bumsnet- you would be amazed at where we stick our thermometers to help us get our BFP's
megarobotdiscoparty · 13/06/2015 20:24

mummy maybe it's my eyes but that looks the same as the control to me? Eep!

honey good to see you back on here. I am in Yorkshire so not the same festival...you'd have known if it was because you would have smelled the patchouli and lentils from miles away! Lazy movie afternoon sounds heavenly.

Mummyofonesofar · 13/06/2015 20:28

Just the left hand side of the test like looks faded to me? Hope it's not the end of the surge - only 1 dtd all week is not good!!!

megarobotdiscoparty · 13/06/2015 20:35

Yeah maybe a tiny bit... gotta be nearly there though. Really go for it tonight!

Nomio230 · 13/06/2015 20:44

I would say that is positive, too. CoC, Mummy!

Robot, I remember you telling your story before, but I had forgotten you were previously on Clomid. I am so sorry you had to go through a MMC. Hopefully you will get that sticky bean soon.

Mummyofonesofar · 13/06/2015 20:50

Yay Coc!

HopesUpKnickersDown · 13/06/2015 20:59

Good luck on your journey Bean, hope destination BFP is just around the corner for you!

Frog I'm glad I wasn't the only one slaving over a hot stove today. Hope the exams go well, good luck!

Nomio good news about the car money, hope you get your payout and find something quickly. I'm pinning my hopes on the B6, it had better feckin work!

Robot sorry you've had a difficult journey so far...I hope this is your month lovely lady. Panpipes!!!..you have my sympathies Thanks

Hi Honey, your day sounds very similar to mine, praying its dry tomorrow. ??

Mummy, if it's not a +...it's super close to it. When did you last test before this one? Sex in the shower....you saucy minx! ??

Because the weather was so shite I cooked up some meals to freeze for the week ahead...I will pat myself on the back when I get home at 7pm knackered mid week. I'm praying its dry tomorrow, I need a long walk somewhere green to prepare my body and soul for shagathon. DH was threatening a practice run tonight so I've given him an alco pop to knock him out...snoring gently already, works every time ??

DizzyMerry · 13/06/2015 21:02

I say positive too muumy. Enjoy CoC Grin

Nomio excellent result on the car. Hope you find a nice replacement.

Robot I'm fine, thanks for asking. Can't wait for AF to pack up and start ttc again.

Spoke with a lovely lady at Care Fertility yesterday and she said the HyCoSy will cost £660 in total with sedation but need to complete registration forms first, which we received today. Have completed and sent them off so waiting to hear from them with an appointment.

Mummyofonesofar · 13/06/2015 21:07

hopes ha to the alcopop! I tested yesterday at about 5.30 ish and it was a line but rather faint. I normally have to convince dp to dtd too but the shower was his idea! Was very impressed.

Honey85 · 13/06/2015 21:12

It was rather a nice lazy day I must say! Much needed after a 5 day working week ... Normally only do 4 but so busy at mo!

Can I be totes stupid and ask what coc means ..... I mean, I could hazard a guess Grin

Must be lots of festivals today mega!

knickers your post made me laugh! I gave dh some wine with dinner but it's had the opposite effect ... Keeps telling me my face looks horny. Far from it ... Actually the opposite as wine makes me sleepy haha! Shall probably relent I expect though ;) How organised are you cooking meals for the week! Good work! It's bloomin Hardwork getting tea sorted after work and trying to entertain littles too isn't it. My dd is just shattered when we get in at 6 but we rarely eat before 7, so late!

Rainy34 · 13/06/2015 21:18

Hi girls, was hoping the weather was going to be better than it has been today, but least the rain stayed away so that always something,

Why do i always wait till a week before i go on holiday to kick start my diet, bought a new pair of short a few weeks ago , they were a bit alot tight thinking that i would loose weight and fit into them, not a chance so i am on a major health kick in the hope i can shed a stone in weight In a week, i think i am being highly optimistic !!

HopesUpKnickersDown · 13/06/2015 21:21

DizzyM great news,I hope the appointment comes through soon.

Mummy its definitely CoC! Check tomorrow mid morning though just to check its fainter. Happy bop/fop!

Honey good luck with the frisky DH ??. I'm not normally that organised so don't be too impressed...it's normally a maccies ??

HopesUpKnickersDown · 13/06/2015 21:31

Honey85 · 13/06/2015 21:33

Haha rainy I always do that and in the end think ... Ah well, I'm gunna get fat eating loads whilst Im away Soo ..... Not good! I end up thrice as heavy haha!!

Mummyofonesofar · 13/06/2015 21:34

Honey85 · 13/06/2015 21:43

Oh yeah!! Doh! Haha. Thanks!

fififolle · 13/06/2015 22:05

Mega I used the progesterone cream as I have a shortish lp and with two BFP's have had spotting a few days before. I used it once ov had been confirmed then continued as I got my BFP (in March) then restarted it when I got my BFP again on Thursday.
Rainy do you mean which website or how was it to use? I can give you the link and it just feels like moisturiser.
Hopes I'm feeling great thanks, will post it on Monday.

HopesUpKnickersDown · 13/06/2015 22:27

Thanks Fifi, you're a star Smile
