Thank you Sammy! My -ve test from last night had a feint line this morning so I decided to do another one. Off to buy a CB digi later x

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/06/2015 10:11

Just trying to catch up so sorry for cluster posts!

sammy I was also going to mention about making sure your dog is secure. Dog thefts are rife, I've seen houses being burgled and only the dog being taken Sad. Also, I'm not sure whether you've had a puppy before but they're really hard work (DP thought it was worse than having a new born baby!) so I think it's great your getting puppy now so you can train it up before you get preggo. I really think you would struggle if you waited until maternity leave so you're doing it the right way round imo!

boris no! Poor DP Sad, was he knocked off a motorbike or push bike? My mate got knocked off her bicycle the other day when she was on duty (she's a pcso) by a postman who wasn't paying attention! She went underneath the van and very nearly got dragged down the road! Luckily he heard her screaming and stopped. She's managed to get away with bruises and tendon damage but is still out of action for 2 months Sad
That's great news about your friend but sorry to hear you're upset by the news. It will be you soon.

queen poas! That's the best 'thing' to bring on AF!

Congratulations to fifi! Just seen your post! Fabulous news!

DizzyNorthernBird · 11/06/2015 10:15

Eskimo I need to see pictures of these dogs in pyjamas please! Grin

chopsface · 11/06/2015 10:17

Congratulations fifi! How many dpo are you?

fififolle · 11/06/2015 10:23

Chops that's the confusing bit! I got a smiley on a digi opk exactly 2 weeks ago today, which means I ov'd on day18 or poss even 19 of a 28 day cycle.

DizzyMerry · 11/06/2015 10:34

Congratulations fifi.

Boris your poor DH but pleased he's not too badly hurt. Sorry for the baby bomb they always seem to come when we're feeling down. It will be your turn soon to share your bfp news.

Eskimo that's an interesting diagram but it just surprises me that the sperm and egg can even meet. No more bum pillows for me!

Queenbee30 · 11/06/2015 10:37

Congratulations fifi!

Queenbee30 · 11/06/2015 10:37

dizzyn I've peed on so many sticks..can't bear to do it anymore Sad

DizzyMerry · 11/06/2015 10:46

So sorry you're in limbo queen. Hope AF arrived quickly so you can put this cycle behind you.

Haha dizzyn when I was a POAS addict AF would arrive a few hours or the day after. Perfect way to Bring it on Hmm

Nomio230 · 11/06/2015 10:47

Congratulations, Fifi! That is a good strong line for only 10DPO.

Boris, sorry for the baby bomb. It is so hard when it is someone you know well.

I hope DH is ok & not in too much pain.

I am waiting for a mechanic to come out & see if my car will be written off or not. Some idiot woman cut us up at a roundabout the other day. No-one was hurt, but the steering has been knocked out & I have a big dent above the wheel arch. Apparently if the repairs are going to cost more than 60% of the value of the car, they just write it off, but I really want to keep my little car. Sad

Queen, I always find DTD gets AF to show her face. It worked again for me on Monday.

Hairstylisttoboris · 11/06/2015 10:56

fifi congrats! So exciting. Everything crossed for a sticky one for you.
dizzyN he was on a push bike. Loads of people saw it and gave him there details as witnesses. It's all to common. Sorry about your friend. That sounds horrific.
nomio don't remember you getting a new car? Such a nightmare.

purdiepie · 11/06/2015 11:23

Fifi!!! I am bloody thrilled for you! Thanks

megarobotdiscoparty · 11/06/2015 11:31

Fifi this is amazing news!!! Brilliant line! Crossing everything for an uneventful and heavenly 9 months.

The BFP landslide has started ladies - who's next?

Mummyofonesofar · 11/06/2015 11:33

Hi everyone! I haven't posted all week, just been a bit busy getting back to work etc. Hope everyone is fine and well!

Fifi congratulations again, I am so pleased for you!!!

CD18 here, still no ov or hint of stregthening lines on opks, however new thermometer has arrived (after i threw the last one) and it is showing my temps as way lower than previous recordings so hopefully my weirdly sky high temps were just due to the crappy thermometer and I might get a decent chart when I eventually ov.

megarobotdiscoparty · 11/06/2015 11:34

So sorry about your car nomio! The same thing has happened to me twice now and it's devastating. Don't let them fob you off with the first amount they offer if it gets written off, try and push for more if you can (mind you that only worked for me the first time). I always drive bangers so really struggle to get enough money to replace anything. I really feel your pain! Hope it's good news for you today!

Oh Queen!

Nomio230 · 11/06/2015 11:52

I will try that, Robot. It is more the hassle of finding something else that I can't be bothered with.

Boris, I only got it about 6 weeks ago! It is only an old Citroen C3, but I love it.

How are you feeling now, Mummy?

Who is next to POAS?

megarobotdiscoparty · 11/06/2015 12:13

I gotcha nomio - am currently on the trawl myself as banger is still breaking down in heavy traffic. Shall we get something sporty and wildly impractical for to invoke the law of sod?

Waving to mummy!

DizzyMerry · 11/06/2015 12:18

Sorry about your car nomio. It is a hassle to deal with these things. Hope you get things sorted soon.

DH just got his SA results and they are all good. Will take the printout to our appointment later but will also post the numbers here as I'm not clued up on SA results so your input will be appreciated.

Nomio230 · 11/06/2015 12:40

That is good news, DizzyM. Let us know how you get on.

I am thinking a 2 seater convertible, Robot! Or a motorbike. That should see us both upduffed in no time. Grin

Mummyofonesofar · 11/06/2015 13:18

Also wanted to say it is great to see the thread up and running again with a few coming back to join us!

waves back !

Nomio sorry about your car! I loved my C3 too, driving home in the sun yesterday I put my hand up to open my sunroof before I remembered I had a new car with no sunroof, I got a bit sad! I am feeling much, much better this week. 2 weeks ago I thought I would never feel normal again but I can go all day without having a cry, my hormones have levelled out again. I will never "get over" what happened but I am starting to move on.

fififolle · 11/06/2015 15:17

This is a bit confusing... I got a +ve on CB digi ok two weeks ago today.

Bumsnet- you would be amazed at where we stick our thermometers to help us get our BFP's
purdiepie · 11/06/2015 15:22

Twins, innit.

Queenbee30 · 11/06/2015 15:22

fifi I think the general message is don't worry about the date on those cb tests. You're pregnant! Woo!

Hairstylisttoboris · 11/06/2015 15:28

Fifi a similar thing just happened to a colleague, and later a dateing scan dated her pregnancy as a week or so earlier than her positive opks. But as queen says the important thing is you are pregnant. Or to follow tge theme, it's about time someone had some bumsnet triplets.

nomio I remember you posted a picture if that car. So worry this has now happened. Definitely get a 2 seater sports car now.

fififolle · 11/06/2015 15:52

Boris I'll be more than happy with just the one baby!!
