Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

Morning everyone,

Nothing to report from me either, i think i'm in the tww but who knows, we are still DTD just in case :)

inmyshoos · 08/06/2015 10:44

Morning ladies Smile

Brown discharge could be a number of things. Obviously the best thing would be implantation bleed so fx for that nick

pink you cannot go wrong just dtd! Practice makes perfect!! Fx Smile

I was very good this morning was i hell i poas again even though i know its too soon and will wait until Saturday to poas.

Issie339 · 08/06/2015 11:36

shoos you're right and very wise Grin it only takes the once so I guess I'm not totally out for the month.

pink and nicky sounds like a good strategy, if in doubt keep dtd!

Duck well my app says 5 days before your due but don't first response do a 7 day one? Not sure, maybe worth a look.

I really want to test as am getting a dull ache low down and i'm hoping its implantation but who knows!

VioletIbiza88 · 08/06/2015 15:57

Hiya, hope your all ok? So I decided yesterday morning that I was getting a little too obsessed with checking fertility apps and this board a zillion times day, so I challenged myself to not look at either for 24 hrs. Also thought it might help a bit with the waiting, not sure if it did or not. Anyway I managed it and now I've caught up with the thread.

Choc I definitely think you should stay, you could be a lucky charm and its nice to see it does actually happen. As right now I think it seems so impossible!! But thinking about it, you could have thought like that and it happened to you, so you never know!

I'm now 4dpo I think I might test next Monday which will be 11dpo, I say this because my average luteal phase is 12 days, so if its the same this month my AF will be due on Wednesday, what do you think, too early??

We dtd CD 7,10,12,14,15,16,17 and 18, so I did think we'd done quite a good job, however today on CD20 I found EWCM?? And OH is away for a week working so we can't dtd. So if someone could come along and tell me that EWCM at 4dpo is a pregnancy symptom and it doesn't mean I haven't ovulated yet, that would be lovely, even if your lying to make me feel better ha ha

In other news I have a sore throat, and a running nose and a cough.

Rubberduck thanks, I had a quick google and it can mean a whole range of things, like the majority of our "symptoms" do!!

With a FRER you can test up to 5 days before expected AF date, but it only detects pregnancy in 62% of pregnant ladies 5 days before. I've got 10 internet cheapies 10miu/ml tests that came with my ovulation sticks, I'm not sure but I think they are the same sensitivity as the FRER's??

inmyshoos · 08/06/2015 17:28

violet choc has a cold too. It could be completely random and there ARE a lot of colds going round but since i have come down with one too around 5dpo im thinking maybe its a sign. Grin I think we should take it as a sign. I mean for me everythings a possible sign anyway in my crazy obsessed ttc world

I only ever get a bfp 14 days post ov. It has always started really faint too. Even FRER.

FX ladies!!!!

VioletIbiza88 · 08/06/2015 17:43

Shoos ok we will take it as a sign! F'x for us all!! Smile

I do indeed have a cold! Thanks Violet, I did indeed think it wouldn't happen for us ...though as I say, I'm now sh** scared of not keeping hold of it. Who knew bean sprouts were a risky food....??!!

inmyshoos · 08/06/2015 19:49

Thanks for the stats violet Flowers

Mrs1986 · 08/06/2015 20:42

Thanks for the stats Violet!
Choc - I guess you have a whole load of new stuff to worry about now! the thing I'd find the hardest is coming up with excuses for not drinking wine!
Does anyone else day dream about telling people the news? Most of me feels like this is going to be a long and difficult process but then I let myself have little fantasises about being pregnant and I imagine all the scenarios in my head! Hope that I've not just exposed myself as a total weirdo!

I don't know what OTD stands for either, but I'm sure I've already been told!x

VioletIbiza88 · 08/06/2015 21:10

Rubberduck OTD stands for official test day, either the day your AF is due or just the day you have decided you will test.

Choc I didn't know about the beansprouts! Who'd have thought!

So today's "symptoms" have been not wanting to get out of bed this morning even though had a reasonable amount of sleep, a sore throat, sneezing, coughing and a blocked nose and also bloating. Anyone else sharing? Smile

Mrs1986 · 08/06/2015 21:23

Ahh ok. My OTD is 29th June xx

Issie339 · 08/06/2015 21:43

Thanks for the stats again violet sooo helpful.

mrs1986 I totally have 'getting a bfp fantasies' mostly surrounding telling work I'm going to be leaving going on very early mat leave Grin can't wait.

Ooh I've had a sore throat today, though at 1 dpo I think it may be a little early for pregnancy symptoms.

So violet are you planning to test early this month? How many days before AF? Having your cheapie HPTs to hand is going to be sooo hard to resist POAS!

inmyshoos · 08/06/2015 22:27

Violet was just thinking your ewcm on cd 20, could it be semen? It can look very like ewcm esp if it has sat high in vagina for a while. I only ever start dtd once i see the ewcm (when ttc Grin) because otherwise i find it so hard to tell the difference. If i remember correctly semen disolves in water but ewcm doesnt. Must check that fact but think thats right (i was once upon a time a family planning nurse but it was so long ago, im rusty, old and rusty Confused)

Ok so my symptoms are very tender boobies, so bad, seriously considering ditching the progesterone cream nect cycle if it is the cause of the boob tenderness, and i look aboutv5 months gone already, but not:sure that is new!! Blush

Mrs1986 don't worry, if you think that your fantasies are weird, i have been busy looking at prams!! Never did that EVER with my 3dc but for some reason now I am pram window shopping!! Hmm

nickynackynoo31 · 08/06/2015 23:04

shoes.....pram window shopping is nothing....I already have a small box of things I've bought Confused ... (oops....I just couldn't resist )....blanket, vests, scratch mits, and a few other bits Hmm

Issie339 · 09/06/2015 07:54

Haha shoos I LOVE a bit of pram window shopping! I need to hurry up and get my bfp because if it's too much longer I probably won't need a double buggy (DD will be too old) and will be gutted I don't get to buy the shiny new one I've got my eye on Grin What prams are catching your eye?
