Hi everyone,

Here's our shiny new thread continuing from the old 'who wants to buddy up' thread (sorry, don't know how to link). I'm sure some regulars will be along in a minute and also anyone else who is ttc and would like some company is very welcome to join- we're very friendly!

Hi guys, hope you're all good :) its been a while, so update... Cycle 13 was a success :) found out an hour before we went on our holidays, so our boozefest cancelled and slushy vomit inducing baby chat began. Then I started bleeding 2 days later, so have just spent the past 4 days with my head up my backside wishing the time away so I could come home. Drs this morning, and a scan this arvo. Don't know what to think although I'm hoping against hope that its all OK. Just like to state for the record that this getting pregnant business sucks hairy balls and I'm not impressed!!

Suzie oh no! Was so pleased and reassured when I read the first part of your post, that you finally got your BFP after 13 cycles. I'm on cycle 7 now and convinced something's wrong. Good luck for your scan, also hoping that everythings ok for you. It must have been awful for you to be out of the country and not able to get answers straight away. x

I'm trying temping for cycle 7, need to actually look it all up and learn about it though, as so far i'm just taking my temp and putting it in ovia. Not even sure if ovia will automatically tell me when/if I ov?? Test day/AF day is 3rd October.

So, scan shows nothing, along with a thin endo layer, so it looks very likely like no baby. Bloods have been done as urgent and will call me back when results are ready. Not good :(

So, scan done, nothing in there, also the lining seems thin? Bloods have been done but it looks all very bleak. They're going to phone back with the results and have more done on Thursday. I hate this week.

Head is firmly up bum... Sorry for posting twice, first one didn't appear so I thought it didn't post...

violet I had to wade in when I read your post to shout 'nooooo!!!!' Don't lose the faith, remember it took me 8 months to conceive and I was going nuts thinking something was wrong. Stay positive hun, it'll happen.

Hey, yeah my lovely bf. Bloods are back, confirmed mc. Feeling a bit more positive, because at least I was. Maybe cycle 15? Advised to wait till after my next AF to TTC again. Good luck to everyone, it's a tricky business this baby malarky! Xx

Hope you are all doing well?

After mc I decided to wait for 1 x AF so that I could take a little break and give my body a rest. Then I got back down to business.
I'm lucky, cause I know which CDs were successful for me last time, so i did the same again, plus a bit more. Currently cd28, took tests over the weekend but both BFN, so I thought I'd save my pennies and wait to see what happens this week.... If no sign of AF though I will be driving myself crazy wondering!!

Nicky what was the update on your never ending cycle? Did it end or are you still waiting for AF?

Mrs sorry for the BFN's I know how horrible they are!! What was your cycle length previously? When do you think AF would be due?

I'm currently 6dpo with AF due on Saturday. Trying and failing to not get my hopes up and also not symptom spot while hoping that 7 is my lucky number!!

I actually only had one cycle, it was 30 days.
I'd imagine something should start happening in the next couple of days.
Fingers crossed for you- I'm sure they say 7 is one of the luckiest numbers on the planet!!x

Well at last af arrived yesterday....with a vengeance too may I add. But I shall not complain as now I can actually try track my cycle.and hopefully get somewhere other than stabbing in the dark and guessing.

I had to delete the app as it went funny after the site was hacked..and now I can't seem to find the app on app store so using the desktop site which has taken me a while to suss out xx

I may find out if cycle 7 has been lucky tomorrow, as its the day before AF due tomorrow, and I've been getting a bad headache the day before AF due in recent months. So will be watching out for that tomorrow and hoping I don't get one! feeling quite scared to temp tomorrow, every morning its been horrible waiting for that drop and hoping it doesn't come!

Well, after I took tests on cd 26 & 27, I figured I'd just wait. Yesterday (AF due date) i started bleeding so just assumed it was game over. However, the bleeding was super light all day, and now it's completely stopped.
I'm thinking - implantation bleeding would have been a week ago, but I've got one test left. If I was going to take it, it should have been this morning for my first wee, but I honestly am a bit uneasy. I've got a big boozy weekend in Dublin coming up.... Starting this afternoon.

If you were me would you take the last test now (even though I've already had 3 wees) or would you take it with you to Dublin and take it in the morning??
Can people have a 1 day mini period???

FYI it's either CD 2, or CD32! And my cycles from small amount of experience, are 30 days!

What did you do? If you haven't taken it yet, I would test in the morning. I am testing in the morning too!! Did you pinpoint ov? What dpo would you be? Good luck got my fingers crossed for you!!!!

Beautiful clear second line on a FRER this morning!!! It's been 7 months but its finally happened! Thanks for all the support on this thread, this thread has been amazing! Please keep you fingers crossed for us that all is ok!!!

Yeah I still can't believe it, thought that it would never happen. Its very early days, only 4 wks today. Just hoping that and praying everything turns out ok. xx

Hiya Duck Mrs how are you both? Where abouts are you in your cycles? Any symptom spotting yet?

5 weeks 1 day today and have got an early scan booked on 2nd of November just for reassurance. Midwives in my area also do an early appointment to so got that on Friday. x

I'm cd 17 and had 1 line and faint line on opk for last 2 days...stronger today so hopefully heading for ovulation day ?. Fingers crossed for everyone xx
