Hi I am nearly 40, positive opk today,need a TWW buddy

We have started frisky week on the cd6. I am on cd9 and ovulate between cd9 and 14. Will try again with eod all month until AF or bfp.

I like the fact that calendar day = cycle day this month.

Today is CD 6 for me. DH away till Monday so will be starting CD 10. Honestly you are so lucky EOD for 2 weeks solid. Those sorts of days are behind us!

As I said, Really, EOD is a statement of intent rather than reality . We tend to manage until ovulation, then slack off a little. My cycle is typically 26 days, minus 4 days AF, so 11x, I really hope we'll manage this month.

Cd12, I think ovulation was on cd10, tomorrow's temp should confirm. Good effort so far dtd, did o-4, o-2, o-1 and o+1. Exhausted already .

Ttc is just weird, go on the internet, record temp every day, post every twinge and tell the world about your sex life and/or cm. Best bit is, this seems a perfectly sensible thing to do . Shoot me now. How are you all getting on?

Well done Reni and Really, we are doing pretty well on the SMEP, so well that now I think daily is a bit too much, DP is pleased with his positive home fertility test and wants to DTD even more...

This TTC is crazy business. .. I ovulate on days 16-18 so still a week to go.

No, flourishing, handstands are not necessary as long as you take the pillow from under your head and place it under your bum . Really, I too have been tempted to publish my FF temperature chart, stopped not so much to protect privacy but because I would then stress about responses and I have enough to fret about as is.

To think my first DC was a one off split condom! Now I have to go through hoops TTC.

All that stress over a missed pill and really it's not that easy to get pregnant. All those morning after pill people are taking. Soooo frustrating

Re baby juice .....DH has had his swimmers tested and they seemed fine. I'm waiting for results of my Day 21 test now, but don't have an appointment till August.

Yes Really, you must be charting, use opk but no head stands or Reni will tell you off (very nicely)

Nope, no head stands indeed. Don't know about charting, I started a few months ago, I no longer use opks, I know my cycle quite well now. I also noticed many of the "pregnancy" symptoms I spot happen around the same dpo every month...

Some people find it cumbersome, but I am a geek and accustomed to recording data. I got a basal thermometer (around a fiver on amazon), keep it under my pillow and measure bleary eyed before really waking up, put it on the ff app. I often barely remember having done it, autopilot does it. It felt good to see I am ovulating, opks only see the hormone surge, not if the body actually reacts to it. Hasn't helped of course or else I'd be posting on one of the pregnancy threads

Sorry Flourishing, I meant temping not charting. I'm doing OPKs, but not tried temping yet. I'll look into getting a thermometer.

According to the OPKs I get my surge around CD 15. But would be good to triangulate with temping. (Reni I'm also a geek who works with data!) What do you do? (whilst preserving anonymity )

It's all gone Pete Tong here. Came down with some weird bug/chest infection thing that made me ill from Saturday night, then just as it started to improve, I woke up with a really painful right arm that I can't use for anything without yelping in pain. Still in PJs and not looking or feeling at all up for anything. DH has also had the bug so we're the House of Illness, and I'm typing this very slowly with my left hand. Day 12 today. Don't think it's going to be our month!
