A sort-of update here - AF didn't arrive yesterday so tested this morning and have the faintest faintest hint of a line on a FRER - so faint there is every chance I'm imagining it.

Am 13 DPO today or at the very least 12 DPO so would expect a proper line on a FRER if I was properly diffed. Still, if this is a chem at least it's something! And we're in no worse position than I would have expected to be in this month.

my FRER finally arrived from amazon yesterday, a little bit too late! AF also arrived so at least I won't have the headfuck of wondering what is going on waiting for her to arrive.

Plan of attack is ring the hospital and request a copy of our notes and a follow-up meeting (probabably won't be until August) and then (now, not after the meeting) call the clinic I have chosen and find out how we go about getting treatment started there. They will also be shut for the whole of July so nothing will happen until August. I'm working from home today so I can make some phone calls.

That sounds like a fitting plan for Operation BFP Beedles. Glad you've found a new clinic - how did you chose them?

Stage 1 of Operation BFP (thanks imps) has been completed, we're seeing our dr in 2 months time! and they are sending me a form so we can request our notes.

There were only 2 clinics to choose from, with very similar results and costs. And roughly the same in terms of how easy they are to get to from work etc. The one I chose seems to do more research, and I think they may have an embryoscope, and they treat more women than the other one. Not sure if there is anything else I should consider?

beedle I think it's worth a second opinion for sure. your current clinic keep just doing the same thing, maybe a move will help. it's frustrating no one works in July, my sis lives in the next door country. and it's the same. the nurseries shut for a month too!

No, it's too embarrassing - you genuinely can't see anything. You'll think I've lost the plot!

I may have just consulted Dr Google - one website has FRER stats and on 13 DPO, out of 1004 pregnant women, 12.4% got a very faint positive and 7.6% got a negative. So I suppose there is some hope!

I will though put up a pick of my friend's baby blanket - it's still obvs a work in progress but I'm v pleased with it so far.

Beedle sounds like a great plan. I think a change of clinics is a good idea. The new one sounds promising that they may have something new to add. Good work on operation BFP

imps the blanket is gorgeous, and you have like 3 million FRER to use up haven't you so you will be testing again tomorrow?

we didn't actually have much choice about going to a new clinic, we are not allowed to continue where we are as they have to prioritise people who are getting their free treatment. Which is only fair, we're really lucky that we get 3 free attempts and that we can afford to pay for more treatment.

Beedles I have about 22 FRERs left and I shall be using them each morning until AF arrives or I have used them up, whichever is the soonest

Stage 2 of Operation BFP, I have booked a meeting with the new clinic at the beginning of Sept though I suppose it is better that it is after our review meeting, and they said there was no waiting time once we've had that meeting. She didn't think we'd need to have all teh investigations again and they are going to request a copy of our treatment details from the hospital. So now we can concentrate on having a nice summer and being as fit and healthy as possible for treatment in September - or copying imps with a FUFC BFP (and pigs might fly!)
