It will work imps I am convinced, you have got to blast stage and that is really excellent news. Did you get some frosties?
keep I really feel for you, the last few days before test day are so tough, you have nerves of steel, I would be POAS in hiding!

Pastamancer · 07/08/2015 13:07

Brooking for Imps and Keep, part of the point of this group is to provide support, feeling down and not being confident is fine as we are here to do that for you :)

DD1 is at her last ever day of nursery today, she's been there 18 months now and I'm feeling sad about taking her away from there. We just can't justify the expense any longer and she will be starting at the school nursery in September using her 15 hours.

Loopyaboutmy2boys · 07/08/2015 14:49

Will attempt a catch up, working down the page.

Yes Imps, I had an EMCs and then an ELCS, and an ERPC, but I also had a hysteroscopy in March and Mr watts said no issues re the Cs wound, I had some adhesions, mainly near to my right tube, which he removed.

Keep/Far, I had heard re clomid giving a thin lining, not sure what can be done to combat that though. Leaflet I have also says clomid itself can cause miscarriage, and can dry up cervical mucus. You would think they can produce a version of clomid that doesn't seem so anti-getting pregnant!

Am on a recurring miscarriage thread and several there have also said that they had dc's yet were diagnosed with high NK cells, so am going to see whether my consultant would be willing to prescribe prednisone as a punt if I get a BFP this month. I know he supports the work at Coventry, he told me about their research on Monday.

Imps, massive congrats on being PUPO, have everything crossed for when you test. Did you get any frosties?

Keep I can't believe you didn't test today! Aren't you effectively 14 dpo today? Will be lurking for POAS action....

BeedlesPineNeedles · 07/08/2015 15:02

brooking for you both imps and keep

sorry things aren't any better for you loopy I hope your dr agrees to teh steriods next time

we've had a lovely relaxed few weeks not thinking too much about ivf etc, now I'm back at work and my colleague that sits right next to me is pregnant. She told me today that it took a couple of years so I feel like a right bitch for hating her. There's only a few people in this week, so I'm dreading next week when she announces to everyone, and of course the next 6 months or so. at least I don't hate her so much now I know she wasn't an instadiff!

we have appointments with both the old and new clinics in the next few weeks so hopefully things will move forward

keepitgoing · 07/08/2015 15:37

loopy I'm equivalent of 13dpo today. for me, testing is not exciting. I am a wimp. at least now I have the i-might-be-pregnant thoughts, I don't want to know if it's negative. I can feel AF lurking so not feeling hopeful

beedle Angry Envy but fear not, you will be sharing inane pregnancy banter with her soon as your next cycle will duff you right up. glad you've had a good break

Pastamancer · 07/08/2015 21:04

Sit in her chair Beedle, it might be catching. There was a chair at my old workplace that became the chair nobody wanted to sit in as everyone who sat in it became pregnant. I'm pretty sure nobody was jizzing on it

Solars · 07/08/2015 22:05

Far & Maybe, A is doing well thanks, how are your little ones doing? I can't believe he'll be 18 months in a couple of weeks! Maybe I miss seeing your lovely A on t'other place!

Keep lovely I hated testing too, was never excited by it and never tested at all during my last ivf, got everything crossed for you!

Imps I think the second attempt at ivf is very tough so can understand your wobble but you've got a top class blast on board so this has got to be your time, when is otd?

Loppy hope you can get your consultant on board.

Beedle lovely, grr to the news from your colleague but you sound positive! Brooking things move forward really quickly for you.

As for me we are thinking of trying again maybe even this month but to be honest I don't things will happen naturally for us anyway due to age and the fact we never got pg without ivf plus Hubby is not keen on ivf again so this maybe this it for us but I so want a sibling for A, sigh....

GenericDietCola · 07/08/2015 22:38

Solars, you are a brooker so it will work! Very excited for you.

How are you doing, Imps? I have a really good feeling for you.

hinkyhonk · 07/08/2015 22:40

Have everything crossed for imps and keep good luck guys. Wish there was something we could all do to help your odds.

Afm I'm 24 weeks now and the size of a house already and we had another growth scan today which is looking just fine. Which is a huge relief. Just need to limp on month by month until we get to the end.

Oh keep:( I am so sorry big hugs to you. Could you have a late implanter? I think you have some more frostie a too? Xxxx

keepitgoing · 08/08/2015 09:17

doubtful far, I think it's over. we have one more frostie, but I'm expecting to have to do another fresh round Sad
imps love, are you OK?

OP posts:
GenericDietCola · 08/08/2015 12:21

Oh keep, so sorry.

Solars · 08/08/2015 18:03

Keep, lovely, I'm so sorry x

Imps9 · 08/08/2015 20:59

Oh Keep what a shitter. OTD is Tues isn't it? Brooking for the right result next time. Big hug for today's crap peestick though. FWIW, a BESH recently got a BFP on 17dp2dt, having had a BFN on 15dp2dt (OTD). Yes, I stalk that thread from time to time and send brooking power their way too.

AFM, having spent Thurs and Fri in a state of unliftable misery (seriously I cried pretty much continuously (which made for a slightly awkward opticians appointment on Fri afternoon, that's for sure) I am feeling much much much better today. Stayed with child free-by-choice friends and went for a fabulous 13 mile walk with one of them today which has improved my mood no end. Still convinced that this hasn't worked, but at least I'm not a misery guts anymore.

Also managed not to drink more than a pint of shandy at lunchtime today without looking as though I wasn't drinking - ordered a cocktail last night and had three fake sips before declaring that I'd had a stomach bug earlier in the week and that my stomach wasn't feeling ready for alcohol just yet. Think they bought it Hmm

Solars great that you're poss going to be joining us again! What's the dealio with IVF - do you have any frosties? Could you get that ball rolling straightaway?

Beedles hello! Hope you're having a lovely chilled summer despite fertile-eventually colleagues. You will join her soon. Do you know what questions you'll ask both your current and new clinics?

keepitgoing · 09/08/2015 09:43

another bfn so I very much doubt it imps, I'm OK really, I know I'm so lucky to have kip so can't complain. I'm sorry you're having such a tough time, the tww is hellish really, your hormones are bonkers and so much riding on it. one day at a time, I guess, and having a plan should it fail.
am mad dh just keeps spending money - we need to save for ivf, ffs.

OP posts:
Imps9 · 10/08/2015 06:03

Are you going to test again this morning Keep?

keepitgoing · 10/08/2015 09:02

yes, bfn

OP posts:
Imps9 · 10/08/2015 09:42

Bollocks. Sorry Keep :(

BeedlesPineNeedles · 10/08/2015 09:51

Sorry to hear that keep (hugs)
when will they let you try with frosty no 2?

I have a few questions for teh old clinc (like why is there no mention of puncturing my bladder during EC in my records Shock ) but really a review meeting when we have used up our entitlement to treatment with them seems a little meaningless. I think the meeting with the new clinic will be more interesting. I'd really like to try a scratch but I don't think anywhere here does it, at least teh new place will take the embryoes to blasto if I have enough

keepitgoing · 10/08/2015 14:10

I'm hoping this next cycle beedle, crack on, but we have to call tomorrow on otd so will ask then. then ivf in November once we've saved up

blastos would be good, worth asking about a scratch. you could also have it done in the uk if you really wanted I'm sure I've read the effects last 3 months. do you have a meeting booked in?

OP posts:
keepitgoing · 10/08/2015 14:10

how long till I get my period after stopping progesterone imps/beedle? x

OP posts:
Imps9 · 10/08/2015 14:11

I think I will ask for a scratch if when this one doesn't work. Can't harm, can it?
