Well it's not going to be a sneeze birth. Baby is back to being transverse and as my cervix is already partially dilated they will need to do a c section. They are hoping to do it this afternoon. I'm suddenly feeling very scared of having a section. I'm trying to keep calm and remind myself that at least it's not an emergency and they can plan to do it safely. I've sent MrCups to get something to eat. He is pretty worried so I'm trying to stay calm for him x

Right, focus on the fact that your baby is going to be here in the next few hours and you won't have to have contractions and push a small person out your fanjo. You will get to lie down and let someone else do all the work while still getting the praise after for making such a lovely baby :)

It is going to be a sneeze birth, cups, just a different version of one. You did totally the right thing yesterday and sorted out today's induction, rather than leaving it. You are in the completely right place. And, hopefully by now or in a few hours, you are going to meet your lovely baby.

An elective section, having assisted at a good number, are really lovely, chilled events. It is all very calm and lovely, the surgeon can take her time much more than in an emergency section.

So looking forward to hearing news and hopefully seeing a photo of you all very soon.

Hi no news, it's been a bit of a bad day at the hospital. Lots of emergencies and luckily/unluckily I'm the most stable person waiting for theatre so have been bumped several times! The plan is for section tomorrow morning fingers crossed. I was starting to get really grumpy as was starved for 13 hours. Have had lots of food and am now hoping to get some sleep. Hopefully I'll be updating you tomorrow x

Oh Cups lovely, you poor thing. Today must feel like an anticlimax. But just think, a baby on Father's Day!! MrC will be so chuffed. So pleased you've got some food in you. Hurry up tomorrow!! Hope you can get some sleep x

Well we had a brooking baby born on Mother's Day so it is only right that we have one on Father's Day too. Brooking that you don't get bumped today and have your little boy nice and early.
