The Rules of Bumsnet

  1. Don't talk about Bumsnet
  2. Get the sperm in the hole
  3. Don't LPB. It's frowned upon.

You're right daisy a 10k is nothing, my reservation is about pushing my heart rate up for a good 55 mins or so....it's just a training race though to test where I'm at with my fitness so I can set my training paces towards my races in the summer so I'll see how I feel about it tomorrow afternoon. If I get pg before July my summer races might be cancelled anyway!

bean do you not miss it? I start climbing the walls when I don't have a schedule to stick to (I'm just about to head out now despite the high winds, I must be a loony!) I would have said what you were running would be fine as long as all four runs weren't at a fast pace. But at least you're still able to get out with the walking and cycling for an endorphin fix! Hi everyone!! I hope you all had a fab bank holiday weekend - we cleaned our house then went to a May Day Fair which was great fun!

Night I am so excited by your temps!

Aux sorry for AF and anyone else who it has got! Flowers

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 14:14

Running wise, I know with althletes it can hinder chances of TTC but I have seen someone on a BFP thread who did the London marathon and then got home and got their BFP.

wotsits1 · 05/05/2015 14:18

night I cannot believe your patience!!!!

Hairy plums, I am taking Progesterone for the first time this month. I am hoping it will lengthen my 9 day LP. I will let you know how I get on with it. I am also still taking B6.

I am on my way to the hospital for a load more blood tests. Sad

Woolly84 · 05/05/2015 15:23

wotsits1 · 05/05/2015 15:36

Good Luck Nomio!

Mummyofonesofar · 05/05/2015 15:37

Woolly I don't run - just read a bit about it when I thought I mark take it up....I didn't

Woolly84 · 05/05/2015 15:57

Hehe thanks mummy

Nomio230 · 05/05/2015 16:18

I am still in shock at the words "a 10k is nothing"! It would probably kill me to run that far!

I am all done now. On my way home. DH is out tonight, so I am planning a nice relaxing night of TV & Bumsnet. Grin

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/05/2015 16:35

woolly I wouldn't worry, my main motivator for running is to justify the amount of food I eat and the amount of time I spend sitting on my arse!

nomio anyone is capable of it, I couldn't run for longer than 2 minutes when I started out. Smile

nightandthelight · 05/05/2015 16:58

How did it go nomio?

purdiepie · 05/05/2015 17:34

So I'm on the wrong train. To Wigan. After a long day of unpaid work.

loopylou1984 · 05/05/2015 17:58

Right, catch up time:

Purdie I don't hate you. That's kind of how I feel anyway, I'm at least going to see how long the wait is likely to be. Realistically I know that unless they find anything wrong on Thursday I won't be seen again by the NHS until September when hopefully they will refer us and then it will be another 4 week wait. If however I could fit in a sneaky attempt abroad and still use the NHS tries then we might just do that....we'll see, one step at a time. Glad you're continuing with the placement :)

Sparkly I know, I love my family so much.

Aux/Auto Sorry for AF :(

Night I am impressed with your self control!!

Nomio If your HyCoSy wasn't painful why could you not have gone to work? The lady on the phone seemed surprised I even thought about not going back...
I'm sure I could get it off if needed, or else just call them afterwards and say I felt too unwell to go back, they know its a hospital appointment.

Oh no Purds! Wrong train sucks! Will it add much to your journey?

So as I mentioned earlier I've booked my private HyCoSy for Thursday. DH won't be around so will either go by myself or ask my mum. Ironically I got home to find the NHS appointment letter for the 7th September! Xx

Nomio230 · 05/05/2015 18:48

Sammy, I did find it painful, but not as bad as some of the others on here. I know Sparkly and Eskimo were both in agony with theirs.

Whether you decide to proceed privately or not, it is good that you at least have options.

It went ok, thank Night. I used to practically faint when I had blood tests, but have had so many over the last few years that I am a lot better now. I will be pointing out my bruise to DH later though in a blatant attempt to get sympathy!

Nomio230 · 05/05/2015 18:51

Purdie, where are you now? Will it take you long to get back?

nightandthelight · 05/05/2015 18:55

Always go for the sympathy! If I so much as cut my finger I insist DH showers me in sympathy Grin glad to hear they went well:)

frogbubbles · 05/05/2015 21:06

Thanks Nom I've really missed you all!! It's good to be back Smile

Spinning I'm loving the coach trip updates, hopefully that's a distant memory now and you have a cocktail in your hand and the sun shining away.

Purple Koala got a BFP?? Bloody hell I completely missed that. COnGrATuLaTiOns lovely lovely one Smile

So I called the docs today about scan results and they told me to go in tomorrow, and now I'm terrified. Have they found something wrong with being called back in so quickly. I'm going to spend the whole night torturing myself with what it's gah!!!! Sad

nightandthelight · 05/05/2015 21:19

Welcome back frog! Panic not :) Is this a private scan or an NHS one? If NHS you might just be a long waiter on their lists and they are under pressure to bring you in quickly :) we do it all the time, a patient waits six months for an initial appt and then we rush everything else through and do sometimes make the patient think there is something wrong when actually it's just the government breathing down our neck!

frogbubbles · 05/05/2015 21:31

Ah night well I'm not sure it's all been pretty quick. Referral was about 5 weeks ago, scan 2 weeks. I'm sure it will be ok (fxfxfx) Smile

frogbubbles · 05/05/2015 21:32

Night should have added it's NHS, thank you lovely that makes me feel better x

Nomio230 · 05/05/2015 21:56

I didn't know you worked for the NHS, Night. Do you do anything interesting?

Frog, I am sure it is nothing to worry about, but I know you will anyway! What time are you going in?
