The Rules of Bumsnet

  1. Don't talk about Bumsnet
  2. Get the sperm in the hole
  3. Don't LPB. It's frowned upon.

Choppers happy holidays!!!! Have the best time! I went to Malta a few years back now, but absolutely loved it! Weather was fantastic too. Hope you enjoy and soak up that sun! Hope the nausea subsides too lovely! Ps I heard Krakow is great ! Good tips! Smile

Spinning I am quite often that girl... Who carries 15kg?! Don't they realise how heavy toiletries are alone?! Ha. Hope you have the best time! We shall miss you on here, keep us updated how you are Flowers

lucie sorry about spotting. FlowersFabulous news your parents are offering support. I think option 4 is gonna be tough for you, so I go with the sooner the better option 1.. If there's a way round it. We are all 100% behind you and I so hope this will be the one foryou! You know the drill now too, so at least you know what to expect etc and how good your experience was this last cycle. Things sound very positive for moving forward lovely Flowers

Nomio can I say, I doubt very much your an impatient person! You have been so determined this far with TTC and dealing with the messed up system you were thrown into between gp surgeries- most people would have lost the plot over all that, yet you have shown total strength and patience so don't sell yourself short.. You are clearly quite wonderful!oh and glad you had a nice day today- much deserved after last week!!Flowers

Sammy more great supportive family! This is such good news. It's brilliant you have these options now and glad you are going to proceed with the HyCoSy privately and get it done and dusted!one step at a time and all..! Smile

Pug so glad to hear you are feeling a little stronger today. And work Tomor! I hope it goes well. The distraction and interaction will do you the world of good I imagine! Flowers

Night fingers crossed !!Grin

Froggy hope you are ok lovely at least you have a TTC stress free month ahead- although it sounds like it will be replaced with something else!- sure the results will show up soon for you Flowers

Purds need I ask? Juicymassive........?!? Shock

spinningirl10 · 05/05/2015 00:27

Purdie, pleased you've decided to keep at it. Hope the next few weeks pass quickly for you.

Sparkly, I shall let you know how I get on at check inSmile
Sat on a coach for a 2 1/2 hour journey to the airport! It's so busy.....I didn't realise so many people would be travelling at this time. I need some sleep!

spinningirl10 · 05/05/2015 01:59

I think I'm the only person on the coach who isn't asleep! It's a wonder anyone can sleep through dp's snoring Blush I don't like coaches!

spinningirl10 · 05/05/2015 03:30

At the airport, wide awake after my coffeeGrin got a wet leg after ds dribbled on me while he was sleeping on me.

spinningirl10 · 05/05/2015 04:21

Yay got our luggage checked in no probs Grin

loopylou1984 · 05/05/2015 06:43

No time to catch up as running late for work but nhs is 1 round and up to two frozen if we have any frosties. We're just going to sort out the HyCoSy first and go from there. Xx

Queenbee30 · 05/05/2015 07:13

Morning all, looks like I've missed a ton here! Had a lovely, hectic weekend and then flaked out at about 10pm last night. Slept like a log and did not want to get up this morning!
I'll never be able to catch up so congrats to BFPs -and Flowers for everyone else.

nightandthelight · 05/05/2015 07:16

Enjoy your holidays chops and spinning!

14dpo and no temp drop. Actually a bit gutted as if not pregnant then that means that I ovulate early in the vast majority of my cycles. Oh well just need to focus on collecting two more cycles of data for the fertility clinic :)

wotsits1 · 05/05/2015 07:24

night isn't no temp drop a good thing? (never temped so am a bit dumb to it all!!)

nightandthelight · 05/05/2015 07:59

It is normally a good thing wotsits :)

Obviously if I am pregnant great although I am worried about the increased risk of miscarriage for people who ovulate early. If I'm not pregnant though then the lack of temp drop means that I always ov early and that may have an impact on my ability to conceive :(

purdiepie · 05/05/2015 08:37

Sparkly, when I was ttc via ivf I joined the Egg Buddies thread on mn and my username was a variation of the word 'juicy'. It was an hilarious, filthy and profane thread with massive support for ivfers. I became fb friends with some of them but those who had repeat cycle failures sadly drifted quietly away once we graduated. Just recently one of the members started a thread giving a shout out to us Egg Buddies! Such a treat to be back in touch and so sad to see a couple still haven't made it...even with donor eggs Sad

purdiepie · 05/05/2015 08:39

...and to get to the point Hmm I returned with juicy in my name so they would recognise me after 2 years. The massive forceps vagina hints at the kind of birth I had..

auxiliaryauroch · 05/05/2015 08:39

Morning pubey girls!

######stats####### new bfp 31 May
#######

Sadly af got me the day after I last posted. gutted At 8dpo but a 7 day lp which is an improvement on the 5 day ones from previous cycles. Ov-ed six days earlier on the soy last cycle which was a bonus in that this cycle will be shorter if trend continues.
Cd4 here now yawn, still bleeding, back on the soy again for round two.
Was hoping the royals would name the baby Merlot or Pam or Bitsy, but no such luck Grin

auxiliaryauroch · 05/05/2015 08:40

All good with everyone?

purdiepie · 05/05/2015 08:47

Aux, someone just a year younger than you has their bfp: purplekoala! She used AI too.

auxiliaryauroch · 05/05/2015 08:47

Chart of April cycle for those interested. Soy isoflavones on cd2-6. That line of steady temps before ov is quite interesting looking at my normal all over the show temps. Retrospectively the way my temps were dropping after ov I should have expected AF (progesterone please anyone?), but I was lured into a false sense of security by the cover line. fecking coverline

Yay purple! considers name change to colour + foodgroup
In fact I do need a name change since it is a new cycle. contemplates

auxiliaryauroch · 05/05/2015 08:50

Such good news. Although I don't use AI? Hmm unless dh has been doing unspeakable things to me while I sleep! Shock

purdiepie · 05/05/2015 08:55

Yes, sorry, I meant how terrific the AI is not a one-hit wonder; it's worked for 3 women in here now.

Why not call yourself auxilliaryvetwithbestialpredilections?

autonomousplum · 05/05/2015 08:57

Too late. Wine

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/05/2015 09:09

Morning!

Just popped in to see how nights temps are doing! Any news? Did someone mention you had a temp drop? You know what, I've been noseying at the chart gallery again and the more charts I see the more I think we shouldn't read anything into what our temps are doing, and only concentrate on the overall pattern. I've seen 'implantation' dips but no pregnancy..., very low post ov temps that have ended with a positive...., huge temp drops for a few days which have ascended back up for a bfp...., the only problem is that people post their pregnancy charts but you can't see whether the bean stuck around. Anyway, I really think there's no way of predicting until AF or bfp!

purdie this is the beginning of week three isn't it? And it's a bonus 3 day week for you too! You're almost halfway through lady! Smile

aux commiserations on the AF but that's excellent news about your LP, it's fascinating what these supplements can do!

wotsits did you come up with a plan on how to tell your friend (was it your sil?)?

lucie so sorry to hear about the spotting Flowers, we were all rooting for you and it's so sad to hear it didn't work out this time. But fantastic news that your family are supporting you for another cycle. Didn't someone say that with the nhs they use cycle one as a dry run but cycle two is usually the one which succeeds? You will get your baby!

spinning I missed where you're flying to but I hope it's somewhere lovely and warm and you have a fabulous time!

sparkly how are you feeling this week?

Sorry for the long post! I don't think I've been on all weekend so there's lots to catch up with!

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/05/2015 09:10

Lol at the name change autonomous

nightandthelight · 05/05/2015 09:11

Hi Dizzy :) Temps still above coverline (chart is on fb group). Will try and post to here this evening when have laptop :) thanks for checking in on me!

DizzyNorthernBird · 05/05/2015 09:19

Yes I checked your fb post night to see if you had any news, you're about 13 dpo aren't you? Will you poas or stick it out to see if AF strikes?

nightandthelight · 05/05/2015 09:21

14dpo :) not going to test until Saturday but suspect that AF will have got me by then!
