I'm having ov pains two whole days after static smiley. Is this normal? Aren't we supposed to ov the day after? Grr.

My donor has been contacted.

Sparkly, is very, very unwell with her pregnancy on top of her continuing health issues (which are also acute at the moment). She is desperate to read and chat on the forum but cannot physically do it. Bless her, she feels guilty at not being able to be with us.

I have to say I've never known her this poorly and the pregnancy us proving very, very tough n which, of course, she doesn't want to talk about on here. She knows she is loved and missed.

sparkly. I hope this is your body adapting to pregnancy and that you you feel stronger and better soon.

Dizzy, yes all going well thanks. Dp was asked to work today for a lady who does removals. She said he'd be home for 2 so ds and I went to the beach this morning and came home for 13.30 to make lunch and be ready to go out for the afternoon when he got home and we're still waiting for him! Could be worse I guess, at least the Suns shining. Think we'll leave a note and go to the pool for a bit.

Merry Good luck with the acupuncture. I had it throughout February-March time in an attempt to bring back my AF, and I loved it! I really liked the feeling of the needles and the feeling afterwards. weirdo It didn't work, but I would definitely do it again as I found it really relaxing. I might try it again if my AF returns and I need to consider making my cycle regular.

Fig Good luck with the temping. I have absolutely no advice whatsoever to give, but I think you stick one end in your mouth and then try not to fall back to sleep.

As for me... I finally got a peak smiley today. It's CD23. Is it even possible to ovulate that late? I know I'm 'abnormal' and I don't want to get my hopes up again but I can't help it. I just feel every time 'I hope this one is the one (and by that I mean I hope this is the month that I ovulate or have an AF!). We DTD last night and I'm hoping that we will again tonight. I had CD21 bloods on Monday and will be having CD28 bloods next Monday, so I will find out either way. I am assuming that CD28 bloods test for later ovulation? Does anyone know? And if they do, will it show up by then if I ovulate today or tomorrow? I'm so confused!

Night, in Spain, they have their own version of a greyhound, called a Galgo (Spanish greyhound), which they use for hunting. It is a very common tradition after the hunting career of the dog is over, for them to hang the dogs from trees. The more successful the dog was at hunting, the higher up the tree it is hung, so that it is a quicker death. Those that are not successful are hung lower so that their feet just touch the ground. They are also thrown down wells and into pits. If you google 'Spanish Galgo' you will see that this isn't just a horror story- it happens to thousands of dogs a year and the government do nothing to stop it. It isn't just greyhounds. I very much dislike bull-fighting and the way that there are starving cats and dogs everywhere you look. I am just vehemently against their animal welfare policies (or lack of). I have been to Spain, but I will never return for this reason. I am aware that there are a lot of people in Spain that do care for animals, but I think that the Government policies and general lack of care for animals within their society is primitive and terribly backwards.

Hi Purdie, Gennet sent me a form a few months back when I enquired the first time around. If you email them they will send it to you but if you email and ask they will put you on the list anyway and you can then send the form back anytime before your initial consultation I think.

I used a private fertility clinic for my scans. They are only 10 minutes away from work I work so really convenient and sounds like they get quite a few people who are having treatment abroad now. I had a scan on day 8 and 10 but that will probably differ for a donor cycle. I think a lot of people also use a company called baby bond which have clinics dotted all around the country.

That's horrible about the dogs

Can you move the villa to somewhere else night? My DH is really pissed off that I have this personal boycott against an entire country, as he loves Spain, but I feel so very strongly about this, there's no way I am going back. I would spend the whole time wanting to bring home stray cats and dogs and not wanting to spend any money in a country that treats animals in such a horrific way. I have heard that they are improving animal welfare and there are groups set up in the bigger cities to fight against some of the cruelty, but it's not enough for me. Britain puts down thousands of greyhounds a year due to the racing industry, but awareness is growing, racing stadiums are closing due to this, and we have hundreds of re-homing branches for them nationwide. We also don't kill bulls in the name of entertainment. I'd better stop now, otherwise I'll just continue to rant... I've heard that Italy is gorgeous in July

I am on CD17 since surgery. I think my body might be getting back to normal now, cervix has gone back nice and high after two weeks of being freakily low and am getting the start of the fertile pattern showing on the saliva microscope which is exciting. We were originally going to wait out this cycle but as I'm going to be away a lot with work in June I thought it wouldn't hurt to see what happens. Probably not going to use opks this month though and just treating it as dipping my toes back in the water so to speak. I have been temping though and my chart is just, well, absurd. I didn't bother waking up early at the weekend and yesterday morning I was up early for work and completely forgot to temp anyway, but even taking that into account it still looks crazy.

Lets all try to fill this bus up then start a new one, maybe with a recruitment call in the title to reignite some activity on the thread.

I have talked to DH about it and we have booked and paid etc so we will still go but we won't return until Spain sorts itself out!
