sammy congrats on the fancy procedure success. I know so little about these things? I once had a ultrasound test for pcos but that was it.
eskimo this is especially for you! Cd7 and af appears to be done. Cd1 started light but quickly got heavier to reach surprisingly medium towards the end of the day. Cd2. Expectedly medium to heavy. Cd3. Medium flow but rather more red at this stage than I expected. Cd4. Still really medium and bright red with lots of black clotty bits which was also weird. Cd5 light but blacky bits, and still very red. Cd6. Spotting only. I hope you enjoyed this weather menstrual update courtesy of the "autonomous plum wtf cycles just carry on" channel.

People around us at work definitely make a huge difference. We have a lovely management team. Very kind and compassionate and it makes everything so worthwhile, even the rubbish days. Pleased you're getting on well purdie with excellent feedback.

Just had a call from DH. He finally managed to get through to the sperm place, and is booked in for a week on Monday (18th), so not too long to wait. They have a room where he can do the deed, so he won't have to try and force it out in the toilets!

Boris, I know it is easier said than done, but could you look for another job? You really don't seem happy where you are.

I'm looking for other work. Most jobs I could do are at least an hours commute and full time plus hours. I'm worried about the impact of that on ttc. Also wondering if I should lower my expectations and get a local easier job, possibly a 4 day a week job, just for now whilst we try for a baby.

It is a tricky one. On the one hand, you have worked hard to get where you are, but on the other, you are unhappy and stressed. I really hope you manage to find something that suits you soon. X

Boris please seriously consider that 4 day option. A job is just a job. Things change. Needs change. Life changes. Feed your soul and not your career and take that step down.
That job is likea heavy burden you carry and is making you stressed. I say this with love not to patronise. I know how it feels to be in a job you hate.

I think we're going to have a private go - so will most likely start after next af... If they can fit us in. I can't believe we're lucky enough to be in an area where we don't lose our nhs try by doing this. It is frustrating as you say, but the consultant was so positive it's made me feel ok about being at this point.

I had an doctors appointment this morning for something else and mentioned to the doctor I had been ttc he offered to refer me in the next 3 months if no bfp.

Question for you - do your DPs / DHs go with you to things like dildo cam appointments?
My DH is away so can't come but just wondered.

Mine does if I ask him to, but I just get him to wait outside. If I think it might be painful, I get him to come, so he can drive me home after. Otherwise, I just go on my own, as I know how busy he is at work & don't want to bother him.
