Well I had the HyCoSy today, it wasn't awful, but was the worst period type pain I've ever felt and I'm spotting now. Plus my blood pressure dropped hugely about 5 minutes after they finished and I thought I was going to pass out - which was really annoying as consultant was telling me really interesting things about the embryoscope (which they do have Purds!) and I never got to hear the end. They did give me a biscuit though.

Anyway apparently my tubes are fine and my ovaries are lovely! Lol. And I'm definitely going to ov from the right this month. He said I was text book. Which is great, but it puts us in the unexplained category.

Good news though is he confirmed nhs entitlement is 2 fresh plus 2 frozen rounds, AND we can have one private go while waiting and not lose the nhs tries!!

I asked if I could pay for the embryoscope for the nhs rounds but it was a no.

So now I just have to have the nhs appointment and decide with dh what the next steps are.

Consultant said sometimes people conceive right away after the HyCoSy but that as the due went in so easily it probably would make a difference to us. Xx

Oh and for those of you that had the hsg instead... The consultant today said that is much more painful and he doesn't understand why anyone does it now! So you must have been very brave those of you who said it wasn't too bad. Xx

Hi everyone,I've been a LPB, but forgive me please! I have been at the hospital with my dad non stop since the weekend (he is still in, having dialysis and feeling brighter,we are awaiting the biopsy results to see what is causing this)
Sorry for af night mine finally arrived this morning ! the witch was 4 days late (but I had been spotting for 10 days, so I have no idea what happened this month) I'm relieved though because I was thinking that if I was preggo, I would be worried to death because of the spotting, and having to fly in a few weeks...... It's been a stressful week, and I think I'm going to have a ttc holiday this month yeah right

I have ditched the opks this month, just going to see what happens kind of month, My friend came round with her 4 week old baby, she is just adorable and have had lovely cuddles all afternoon, I have only known this friend for over a year but we are so close and she knows how we are trying to have a baby so she has been sensitive towards her being pregnant and bringing her to see me, her little tot gave me a smile ( i know she is four weeks old but it was a smile) it melted my heart she has had a lot of struggles to have her baby and i am lucky that her and her baby is still here today as her labour was not good but seeing them today has made me have a great day!!!

Just had my first glass of grapefruit juice, it was rank!

On the plus side I had a missed parcel notification so looks like my epo from bean can be picked up tomorrow Grin

My new passport for Spain in July has arrived as has my new blender! Tonight is Indian takeaway and bubbly in celebration of DH's promotion.

Have already commented on the May bus about your scan Sammy but so excited for you that you don't lose your NHS goes Grin

Congratulations butter! I think we were originally due bfp the same day on the 10th....I ov'd late so won't be ready to test until after the weekend at least but your good news has made me impatient! Well done & have a enjoyable pregnancy.

Just been looking at the stats list and I'm putting a bet on that by the end of the month there'll be more on the bfp list than on the ttc list......there'll be hardly any of us left! We need a recruitment drive to get some new (non lbp) members!

night I didn't pay for the upgrade....I don't feel like I'm missing out.

sammy that's great to hear everything is looking good inside, what are your options for what happens next?

Dizzy - we have nhs follow up app on the 18th which will be to tell is to keep trying until the 2 year mark in September I expect. So we wait till then or we pay for a private round while we're waiting. The consultant today said the advice for unexplained is to go straight to IVF.

Sparkly - I really hope you're feeling well enough to join us again soon, but don't feel guilty for not posting! Look after you and your bean :). Xx
