Afternoon ladies.
I am going to echo MrsB (congrats btw) in her concerns about not posting much recently but I also have some news.
Butterchunks, 32, ttc #1, cycle 5, dpo 12, BFP! EDD jan 16th
I am going to hang around here for a few weeks as it is still very very early days (only 4 weeks today) and then I shall join the grads if everything goes well. I just wanted to say hello, and say thank you to everyone for, y'know, being all awesome n'stuff.
I have to say that this is a bit of a surprise. I've been feeling pretty low and had given up a bit on TTC for this month - we only managed to dtd once and that was 2 days before ov according to ff. I think some pre-seed was used, but maybe just on Mr Chunks, no orgasm (for me), no legs in the air afterwards. Dp had been instructed to sort himself out regularly while I wasn't feeling very active so there was some spunky stock rotation going on there. I did have some decent ewcm that evening (which gave me some drive to get down to business with dp) but other than that I cant think of anything remarkable that would have helped. I feel bad that I cant come one here with some new and revolutionary thing to recommend. Maybe the trick is not to try the same stuff every month, mix it up a bit maybe? Who bloody knows??
The only symptoms I have are massive sore boobs, and tender underarm (both of which are normal leading up to af anyway). I only tested to get it out of my system. First test on dpo 10 (tues evening) was so faint I thought it was just an evap line, but then did a FRER anyway and got nothing. I did an IC FMU test yesterday after DP left for work at 8am, this time there was a vv faint line (like a -ve opk line) so I did another FRER. While waiting I had a rummage in the bin and lo and behold found a line on the FRER from the first time! Cue 10 hours of looking at tests every 10 mins to see if the lines were still there, waiting for dp to get home from work. I will wait until sat to test again (when ff says af is due), maybe breaking out a digital CB (from ebay, a bit cheaper but still I stupidly only want to use it once I am more sure that it won't be a waste).
Anyways, enough about me.
and
to all of you.
Purdie I think you are doing the right thing sticking it out until your placement is finished, better for the CV and better for you to know you can achieve stuff. Get it done and then you have better credentials to find something that suits you better.
Juney how's the ladyfriend? I met Mr B on OKCupid, he is the absolute love of my life. I hope things are going well with Ms Sexy.
Frog and other crafty ladies - what are you working on at the moment.
Sparkly Boo to feeling rubbish, I hope to see you on the grad buses when you are feeling a bit brighter.
