Anyone else 4dpo?

Today I'm 4 days past ovulation- I think. So that makes me due AF 8th May.

I'm 27, and first month ttc #1.

Just wondered if anyone else was in the same boat?

But im testing on Sat morning as I'm meant to be out on a hen do that evening - I obviously don't want to drink if we've been lucky. I got a dark line at 12dpo with DS.

Are you going to be brave and wait til your period is due or test early?! Any symptoms spotted?

No, no symptoms..although I suspect it's too early..

I'm going test on the 4th at 10dpo.. That's long enough! Haha
I have read about people getting bfps before that though!?

Really?!! I thought 12 days was v early...

Hmm, well I'm a terrible symptom spotter - I have had cramps after ovulation and a few dizzy spells but last time I knew I was pregnant within a week as my boobs were agony, so I'm not particularly hopeful but no pregnancy is the same so keeping my fingers tightly crossed.

How about you Twinkle? Any early symptoms spotted?!

You're both much younger than me! I conceived DS at 34 and now TTC again at 36. I wish I'd started earlier as I'd have had at least 4 DC I think. I never thought I'd love being a mum as much as I do

I'm trying not to symptom stop as it never turns into a BFP! I could've sworn I had ALL the symptoms of pregnancy in my first cycle which ended in AF, and last cycle (#6) I thought we'd done it as I had erect nipples and a high cervix for the whole 2ww but ended in AF! So trying really had not to from now on

I know this sounds daft but how do you check your cervix?
How do you know what you're feeling for, as in to compare it to?! Lol

Just pop a finger in and feel, once you get used to it its very simple and takes seconds. After AF it is low and hard, when you are coming up to ovulation it rises and goes soft ready for sperm. Check it every day at the same time and you will notice the change, it's a great way of knowing when to dtd. Google pictures so you know what to feel for.

I think I am 4dpo.
Do you class ovulation as the day you had a positive test?
If so then I'm 4dpo.
Positive test (1st ever) on apr 24th...
Unfortunately we didn't manage to have well time sex during ovulation. Positive test 24th April 11.30am
Am I right in thinking you don't actually ovulate when you get a positive and it is anywhere from 12-48 hours after?
If so then no idea when I ovulated?
Dtd 23rd apr 7.30am and 11.30pm and then on 26th at 12pm
Still hopeful though....
No cm at all so conditions won't have been ideal for the swimmers to stay alive.
Started taking soy this month to induce ovulation which worked
Shame we couldn't dtd when necessary but at least I ovulated
No symptoms for me as yet although I normally have sore boobs at this time of the month and am usually more exhausted - not this month - but maybe the soy has Changed the way I react to things?
We are hoping to go out on sat night and so will test before then, I know it's too early really (8 dpo) but you hear of some people getting positives, I'll make sure I'm super dehydrated in the hope this gives a more accurate test.
It will be 4 days before Af is due (7may?????)

Can I just chime in and say that you can have a positive ovulation test and ovulate on the same day. So you would need to dtd a couple of days earlier. I didn't know that until I started temping and someone on another thread pointed this out to me. We have been timing it wrong by dtd after ovulation rather than before. Thought I'd post this info as it may help others.

As for my cervix, I can't feel it! Lol but I could never feel my coil strings either!! Haha

ha, I've never known how to do the cervix testing thing either. Don't think I'll bother with that. The doc struggled to find it himself and he knows what he's looking for.

I wish I had some symptoms but nothing. Never felt so normal. In the past few cycles I've had every symptom under the sun but not this time. Still putting it down to soy changing things.
The only thing I'm noticing is I'm not sleeping well and am pretty tired but that's pretty normal when I spend the week away from home in hotels so don't think it has anything do do with anything.

Do update if anything becomes apparent.

I was silly and tested this morning after being tempted by tales of positives at 10dpo. It was negative and now I feel sad

Can I join in too! TTC #3, with my first 2 I was so lucky and fell pregnant month 1! So hoping I might be 3rd time lucky! AF due sat so trying to hold of and not try it before then, DH is away though so the test in my cupboard is tempting me!

Hi never I blinked and fell pregnant first try with DS too, so it's been a bit rubbish not to be so lucky this time round (3rd cycle) but tbh we've not bee giving it our best efforts

lastone I feel for you. Don't be sad as it is still too early to test. Keep thinking positively as you hear a lot of people saying they still have negatives even after being a few days late. Not too late to give up hope this month .
I have some in my overnight bag but am hoping I can hold off....

I am roughly 6dpo on cycle #1, and driving myself crazy with symptom spotting. I'm absolutely obsessed! I already have a DD, and really don't remember being like this last time. Finding the wait to poas agonizing, but determined not to test early.

I had a false negative witn DD2, tested on the day AF due and nothing! Gave it another few days as I was sure I was pregnant and meant to be going out that night so wanted to know! And that little line appeared and she's now 18mths old! Hope that's the case for you lastone

Vap0 - it sounds like you're in with a chance to me. Sperm stay active for up to 5 days so if you DTD 23rd and ovv'd 24th/25th chances are there were some live ones in position! Big, big fx for you x

Symptom - not been off the loo today, seem to be going every half hour. It's probably just me drinking too much but thought I'd report in.
