Purdey I also had a positive on Monday, the lines were both the same, but yesterday the test line was stronger... What do you think? This morning it was lighter again. X

loopylou1984 · 15/04/2015 12:54

Ps. I also laughed at the pennis!! Xx

Mummyofonesofar · 15/04/2015 13:04

Ladies who did the CB trial and did not get their BFP, now everyones has come to an end - what ovulation stuff did they get posted after sending off their last box of wee?

purdiepie · 15/04/2015 13:06

Oh my! How gorgeous was Kim Sears' wedding dress? I love that she moved away from the ubiquitous strapless numbers you see everywhere. Loved her bejewelled waist-clincher too. And those sleeves!

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 13:08

Mummy did you get dual with twenty sticks to use in trial? About a week or so after I sent last samples back I got a broken box in the post of the original pink OPK with ten sticks. ungrateful

purdiepie · 15/04/2015 13:09

Sammy your opks behaved in exactly the same manner as mine this month. I strongly suspect the darker-than-control is the true surge.

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 13:14

It was Jenny Packham Purds her dresses are all beautiful!

auxiliaryauroch · 15/04/2015 13:16

Ah prog gel spark I seeee-eee! Better than prog cream? Leaves the hands smelling fresher?
purds you flatter me. I think? Ha! Grin
purds mummy I'll have you know that a "pennis" is in fact a Victorian facial hair comb or brush. Since most Victorians were probably unaware of the word "penis" I doubt it caused the sort of hilarity that I assume might ensue amongst us moderns when you recall to your friend over tea and scones how you were confronted with your husband's pennis left unattended on your dressing table.

Mummyofonesofar · 15/04/2015 13:27

aux GrinGrin you are hillarious! We must see more of you!

Sparkly Yes that is what I got, but I did post my last week of wee off a week after I collected my last samply so thinking I may not get anything. I only posted it on Monday but was just wondering what my prize was - was hoping for more digital sticks and maybe a miraculous get-pregnant-quick plan from them... Hmm

MaMaPo · 15/04/2015 13:30

Is 'tot in the tum-tum' a new socially acceptable way of expressing pregnancy? I may have to resign from this place. It's hideous.

Night what awful colleagues you have. How dare they!

Ooh, forgot to mention my own weird encounter. I saw my neighbour yesterday, she's a lovely woman about my mum's age. I've barely seen her for months and she explained that her husband has had a terrible run of illness and injury so she's been in hospital daily for months. Anyway, in the midst of her terrible story she stops and peers at me:
Her: You look different.
Me: ...no?
Her: There's something different about you.
Me: I guess my hair's grown out a bit.. it's gone a bit curly...
Her: No, not that.
Me: I've probably put on a bit of weight since I saw you last?
Her: No. [pause while she studies me intently] Are you pregnant?
Me: No! No, I'm really not.
Her: [skeptical] Hmm. Well, there's something.

!!! Probably pure coincidence but I'll cling to it like a drowning man clings to a life raft.

Hairstylisttoboris · 15/04/2015 13:34

Ah mamapo it's nice to have you back!

purdiepie · 15/04/2015 13:40

Mummy, I reckon you'll get pen-running-out angry pubes tomorrow.

I'm procrastinating. I ought to be en route to Selfridges th'Asda, but it's drizzling and it's that rain that gets you really wet

Mummyofonesofar · 15/04/2015 13:45

Can I stop DTD now then? Was going to do every other day just incase I ov'd late but couldn't be bothered last night in my relaxed post-yoga meditative state....

purdiepie · 15/04/2015 13:47

MaMa, curb your apoplexy, woman! Somewhere on Netmums once a group of newly-diffeds were, in a totally serious fashion, celebrating the 'babies in our tum-tums!' I now use it in a sardonic fashion. Please don't retire. That sykick woman! Bizarre. Let's hope she's right eh?

Aux, how did you know about the Victorian pennis? I love facts like that. Do you read lots?

Hairstylisttoboris · 15/04/2015 13:51

purds you were a Nethun? How did that work out for you?

nightandthelight · 15/04/2015 13:55

Thanks for the support lovely ladies :) seems to have gone quiet now so hopefully it's over! Good to have you back Mama, also v exciting about your neighbour!

Mummyofonesofar · 15/04/2015 13:56

MaMa I missed your bit on your odd lovely lady next door! Maybe she saw the gallon of baby lube being delivered to your house?

auxiliaryauroch · 15/04/2015 18:01

I do purds but I got that off QI if I remember correctly! Ah useless wonderful QI factoids! Smile
O-oooooh mama!

auxiliaryauroch · 15/04/2015 18:04

mummy magic me time and I shall be here day and night which would not be obsessive at all and rain useless factoids like spring petals upon you all.
