If I was Sparkly I would drink a bottle of Lactulose before the dildocam, place my feet in the stirrups, wait for Nurse Ratchett's mush to advance me nethers, take a nice deep OBEM breath, tuck me 'ead into me chest and shit a stream of fecal matter into her mouth. That'll learn 'er.

purdiepie · 15/04/2015 00:01

I'm barred from Scotland.

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 00:02

Grin that would learn her you are right!!! Wink possibility Hmm
You know I've never once had stirrups in any clinic over the years for anything! Is that weird?

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 00:03

Nae doubt you're barred Purds WinkGrin

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 00:06

Sparkly, this is what my friend has said. I have copied and pasted her verbatim (except the bit were she said your clinic are 'fuckers' and your nurse is an egotistical twat) :

'Actually the doc may have a point. Re the MC - chances of a successful preg is still 75% after 3 MC. I strongly believe it is a numbers game to get the 'right' embie. Also, I did a little reading and progesterone is prescribed after IVF because the IVF knocks out the natural hormone levels in making prog. Crinone is a tiny substitute for it. Having said that, progesterone can be used if a woman really isn't producing enough.

I think she needs a plan - I.e she gives it another 6 months of TTC, monitors for preg/MC as she is doing then makes a fuss at that point.

So after 6 months I would go above the consultant's head/change clinic etc. Hopefully by then she will be fully pregnant or have enough evidence to go for more invasive treatment: drugs (assuming she can physically) [I told her, in part, about your neuro-physiological problems].

For now though that clinic sounds shite - not enough info re their plans for her; what they are doing now; completely insensitive and keen to discount evidence of what's happening (Jan pregnancy.)'

Just to say, Sparkly, I passed on your kind sympathy for her losses. She thanks you.

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 00:34

Purds thanks so much for that. That's so lovely of you and your friend to take the time!!! So so much appreciate it! I spoke today to my doctor (the one who is also counseller at sexual problems clinic) she's astounded that they won't count January. She says there's no way I should (hopefully not.. But worst case scenario) go through this two more times just so they can tick a box. She said the nice guidelines are there to "guide" but can be at the consultant discretion. She also mentioned that the whole "don't test until you are a week late" comment from Trunchers is insane and that I need to be aware of what's happening not oblivious . I think the plan needs to be -wait until Thursday.. See what they say and take it from there. I want to try straight away Obvs. I want my take home BFP as soon as I can so I def ain't taking any months off as suggested! No! Grin I wonder whether it's worth me asking them to check my progesterone again seen as it was last done in august last year.. Thanks again for all your help! Amazing lady!

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 00:38

Oh and here's a question for you- if you were me--- would you wait until hospital urine test on Thursday to see if negative or would you test fmu Tomor or Thursday? It's a toughie. I would rather see it now to get in the headspace, but part of me is also wanting to pretend there's a teensy tiny bit of hope left and
I don't want to see the fading line..

purdiepie · 15/04/2015 00:40

I've pm'd you, Sparkly.

purdiepie · 15/04/2015 00:44

Sparkly, take the test. This is no time for false hope. We have to face this head on. You will only prolong the agony if it is the worst case scenario. Come on, my lovely, let's not dwell in the Land of What-Ifs. I mean that kindly Thanks xXx

Sparkly123 · 15/04/2015 00:47

You are right. I know within myself this level of bleeding.. It's just that teensy seed of doubt because I saw that lining on the scan. Ok. I'll man up. Tomorrow or Thursday I'll do it .
Pmd you back Flowers

aenor · 15/04/2015 01:00

sparkly

If you do get referred, you need to try to see Professor Leslie Regan, at St Mary's Hospital London - she's the top miscarriage expert in the UK.

Here's a BBC documentary about what she does:

chopsface · 15/04/2015 06:48

Morning ladies

Good luck.with the scan today Sammy!

Sorry to say sparkly but my bfp went on fb before here so you missed out by at least 10 minutes! Plus there were pictures!

Oysterbabe · 15/04/2015 07:27

Morning!
How are you all doing?

Ff has given me angry pubes his morning so now it's just a waiting game. I hope we've done enough, there was less DTD this month.
I'll test 14DPO, 26th April, if no AF. 6 days before my wedding!

Hey purdie, I have a low AMH of 7.3 but everything else seems ok. I'm ovulating, progesterone is fine, have a very nice womb lining apparently! DH has low motility but ok in all other areas. Gp told me she didn't like AMH test as had seen loads get pregnant with lower than me so said she thought it was primarily a sperm issue. I'm not sure really.

Mummyofonesofar · 15/04/2015 07:33

I didn't get on here much yesterday afternoon then went to yoga last night - I managed to actually empty my mind of ttc worry by the end of the session. I just wish it lasted!

I will read back later. Thinking of you sparkly if you test today x

spinningirl10 · 15/04/2015 07:45

Morning Smile

Oyster yay for crossed pubes! How exciting would a bfp before your wedding be. Not long now, have you got much left to do?

Sparkly, be brave and do the test although I know the line can stay dark even with a failing pregnancy, very cruelHmm
I hope you get some help soon xx

Mamapo, lovely to see you. Enjoy your little trip and maybe you'll get a bfp while you're thereSmile

loopylou1984 · 15/04/2015 07:56

Thanks everyone for your well wishes for today... Not sure if I'll actually find out anything as don't see the consultant till 27th. Is this the scan they can use to tell if you've ovd? Or is that the hysterogetygcdghjjgccgram?

I'm on my third day of positive opks (not as dark as yesterday though) but temp is still quite low. I didn't temp while away so have no chart, but I know what my post ov temps usually are and this does not fit. After all our lovely non ttc sex I'll be really annoyed if I don't ov! Xx

loopylou1984 · 15/04/2015 07:57

Sparkly good luck if you decide to test today, thinking of you xx

loopylou1984 · 15/04/2015 07:59

Oh and chops/vic - I took a leaf out of your book and made sure the big O happened after he finished yesterday, so we'll see! X

auxiliaryauroch · 15/04/2015 08:09

sparkilyspark xf for test this morning. You're doing very well what with all the ups and downs and nice people and rubbishy people to deal with. There should be a pissy stick emoticon for situations like this! Smile
purds what is Crinone is a tiny substitute for it.?

auxiliaryauroch · 15/04/2015 08:11

Fwiw and completely off topic as I'm just reading through the onslaught of posts and replying piecemeal, but I AM NOT HAVING A DILDOCAM THIS WEEK!
