creme! I just wanted to say the sperm might get in the way when it comes to looking at your cervix cells down the microscope. I'm sure they recommend not having sex before. Google it?

Catch up properly later! still looking for af

Pixa · 13/04/2015 19:53

Spinning pictures attached. They're probably a bit too try hard (but if you can't try hard for your DH, when can you?). I have a make up application booked at the hotel too. It almost feels a little formal when it's on but it hangs in the right places. Smile Is it a bit too formal for a casino night?

Mummy have I missed an update? Why meh, lovely? Sad

purdie you're sex dress is now sold out online! The bastards have just emailed me a 20% off code so Ive bought 2 more frocks. There's retail therapy then there's this.....think I'm trying to tempt fate a bit too much with a wardrobe full of new clobber and a running regime Wink

MelonMelon · 13/04/2015 19:59

Your*

DizzyMerry · 13/04/2015 20:01

Stunning dress and shoes pixa. I think the outfit is perfect and just my kind of thing so I would say go for it.

cremedecacao · 13/04/2015 20:02

Chops- dammit! I keep reading different things Confused

Might try an ovulation test in a bit to help make my mind up. If it's negative I can abstain and hope for more ewcm in the next few days!

purdiepie · 13/04/2015 20:10

Oh, Pikz, I'm so glad you finally ov'd! Smile

Rainy, what wonderful, wonderful news! I totally think you are going to be pregnant really soon once they're tweaked your hormones.

Sparkly, I am absolutely gutted about all of this Sad It is true that clinicians won't record a pregnancy unless it's been detected on their premises and with their HPT's. I think it is best for your mental health that we don't dwell on this and look at the positives in having had your latest miscarriage recorded as such. It's a big thing, believe me, and a battle lots of women who suffer very early losses have to contend with.

I absolutely think you ought to have a private consultation with a different fertility consultant. We can't have you suffering this two more times in order to tick the recurrent miscarriage box. A private consultant will take your January chemical seriously and can shed more light than I can as to why you are miscarrying when the uterine lining looks healthy. Perhaps you have high NK killer cells. This is talked about a lot over on the Recurrent Miscarriage thread (and boy do they have some smart and long-suffering women over there). I don't suggest you go there yet as those women are there after having lost four or more babies and it is not a happy thread (obviously). There's a lot of heartache and you are nowhere near going down that avenue.

So...Nurse Ratchet has put your second blood test back to Thursday, right? That's 72 hours after your first beta blood test today. So..if your number 49 has trebled you can begin to have a glimmer of hope. Until then, please know how bloody unbelievably gutted we are for you. I still maintain you are in a better place today than you were last month (in terms of moving forwards). I know that must feel stingy that I've said that when you are so devastated, but we need to look for positives here. Please rest and be kind to yourself. I think you did a terrific job today putting across your displeasure and anxiety about your health. Brilliant job. Now go get looking for a good consultant in your area (you could start a thread asking Scottish ladies in your region for recommendations) Thanks

Mummyofonesofar · 13/04/2015 20:13

pixa great dress and shoes, I wore a similar outfit last year for my dps birthday night away. I love a red dress! But it ended in no sex as we were both too tired and just wanted a good sleep with a lie in! No update, I didn't ov when my opk predicted and worried about crappy temps so far the last 3 cycles.

Pixa · 13/04/2015 20:20

Thanks DizzyMerry and Mummy. I am hoping the outfit will help to encourage DH to do the gentlemanly thing and chuck one up me Grin

Mummy Sorry to hear you're having a hard time with temps. I will keep you in my thoughts.

Sparkly it looks as though Purdie has given you some fantastic advice. Smile The more I read about that nurse, the more angry and incensed I get. I do think getting a private consultant to check out your case would be beneficial.

spinningirl10 · 13/04/2015 20:26

Pixa, that's lovely and will be fab for the casino. I love Lipsy dressesGrin

Purdie, are you nearly at ov time? How is Nancy now, is she all better and got over the sicky thing?

fififolle · 13/04/2015 20:34

Sparkly I've been wandering how you got on today. It sounds like you've made some progress, v positive news about the blood tests. It may be that private is the way to go from here. Looking forwards to hood news on Thursday, take care x

auxiliaryauroch · 13/04/2015 20:35

sparks! So many wise words already so I'll just let you know I'm thinkng of you! Flowers

Hairstylisttoboris · 13/04/2015 20:39

purdie you are a kind and a wise woman. Don't believe the doubters. X

cremedecacao · 13/04/2015 20:43

Pixa- forgot to say the dress is gorgeous! Not too much for a casino night at all.

Just to let you all know, I dtd Blush

Sorry smear test lady!!! I might warn her in advance to be polite.

Sparkly123 · 13/04/2015 20:47

Pixa they are hot! Love a red dress! You are going to blow dh away!! Wooo

Dizzymerry yep I guess you have to weigh it all up lovely. It's hard. But you will come to a conclusion that's best for you and one way or another you will be moving forward. Oh and Maca- dr Purds can help you with that!

ibeka I don't know. They seemed pretty sure they were not gonna do it. I guess on Thursday we can bring it up again

Rice good luck dtd!! Time for making a baba!

Creme do it do it do it! Check the OPK love. I don't know procedure but I don't see what harm it could do dtd??

Boris nothing seems to faze him. He's been great as always. Thanks for asking

Spinning I'm glad the doctors file has your mc noted. You are right, it's strange how some health professionals can be so understanding and others the opposite!

Marys thanks love

choppers you better have a test close by!!

Purdie I didn't realise how difficult it would be to get it noted. So maybe I'm lucky that one is!! I think we shall look at private consultants yeh you are right. The NK cells thing- you know that's something due to my immune things etc. I wonder whether they test that at private clinics? I really can't understand where these clots etc came from today if the lining looked thick? Thanks so much for the info as per usual! Do you know what beta is supposed to be at only two weeks past OV? How are you?? Your super dh is the sperm king! Ha

cremedecacao · 13/04/2015 20:48

Consider it done Sparkly Wink

babsbunny · 13/04/2015 21:13

Hi girls. Sorry for being totally pants the last week. House move was consuming and am now in bed with some sort of bug in the middle of cardboard box city. I can hear the bunny chomping at some cardboard, but have no energy to get up to find herConfused

Just wanted to say hi to sparkly. I'm so gutted about your trials over the last few days. Sounds like you have made some progress at your appt today. Keep strong, you are a lovely lady and you kindness to us all is inspiring x

Mummyofonesofar · 13/04/2015 22:11

pikz thanks for finding that! Am I right in reding Sparkly would be right on target for a 14dpo pregnancy test?

Very quiet on here tonight. Everyone catching up on their recorded obem like me? Even managed to make dp watch it.

Pixa · 13/04/2015 22:14

I am guessing Game of Thrones Mummy Grin although that might just be me

Sparkly123 · 13/04/2015 22:16

How you feeling tonight Mummy ?! I can't do one born yet.. Not In the headspace. Yeh looks like the hcg is ok.thanks Pikz for that chart! It's sad. I keep looking torturing myself at my positive test from today. It's so strong compared to Sat and so strong compared to last BFP in Jan. I wish in a way I had tested today and it would be fainter that way I could just focus on that instead of it having doubled from sat. Rant over..!

Sparkly123 · 13/04/2015 22:17

babs glad move went well! But oh no for your bug!!! Not ideal at all. Been doing too much prob! Keep cosy and feel better soon Flowers

Beansprout30 · 13/04/2015 22:19

Phew just caught up before bed. sparkly keeping everything crossed for you for a positive outcome, that nurse sounds a right witch Angry I also think if you can, get a private consultation.

Loving that red dress pixa cant beat a little red number and killer heals!

spinningirl10 · 13/04/2015 22:26

I was looking for the levels at 2 weeks past conception. I see Pixas posted them. I did find something else interesting that said that you often get a stronger line when pregnancy is first detected when you're carrying a boy!

spinningirl10 · 13/04/2015 22:28

Sorry that was supposed to say girl, levels are stronger when you're carrying a girl. When the line takes longer to get darker or to show then it's often a boy!
