If AF does arrive then yes you will face a down day but you will pick yourself up again. Better to think positive and believe it WILL happen I think!!Hope tea and cake was good!

Sorry to hear about your sisters situation, it sounds like a really tough time. When the time comes- hopefully soon!!- and you get your BFP I know it will be a difficult one to handle, but I hope so much you find a way to break the news without feeling guilty for it.. You deserve this so so much and after trying so long, you need to be allowed to feel elated and excited.. I'm sure your sister will understand that in time and the prospect of a little niece or nephew will hopefully ease her sadness. You can not let your plans be stalled, you have to live your life for you.

him I didn't want that as id rather tell people we love not everyone on FB including randoms like people he went to primary school with and hadn't spoken to in twenty years.. Why bother?!

Wow that was a huge post!

So my update is CD 14 now. I think today or Tomor will be OV, given that I usually do 2 days after my peak OPK! But I have rather exciting news... I had actual- real life -sex last night!! Ha. most of you know our situation and that it has been a very very long time since I've been able to dtd. So this is big news for me!! Hope you all don't mind my tmi but I think we all discuss our sex lives lots here and all I ever talk about is catheters and syringes so this is quite exciting for me!!! I'm well and truly floored today but overjoyed and hopeful about dtd for the first time in so long.

Well we were just having some fun and then one thing led to another and I felt I wanted to try! It wasn't mind blowing great sex obviously, I did feel a bit of discomfort and I was a little tense I think as it had been so long but !!!!! It was just amazing to actually do it!!! Ha. I do realise I sound like 16 year old here..
It's also nice to know that if I feel able To try again then we can do so around the AI without the pressure associated with TTC. It's quite a shock really, I'm pretty overjoyed and on cloud 9 even with feeling so rotten.. Payback is often worth the moments of really living life!!

Sparkly, I only did a little decorating but at least it's a start. I spent over an hour in B&Q staring at paint! There's too much choice. I'm decorating a little annexe room over my garage. My sis and her dh have been living there but they moved out yesterday. The plan was for dd to move in there but she has moved in with her bf that's a whole other story anyway they were smokers so I'm freshening it up and making it cosy for dd just incase

Oh Spinning don't talk to me about paint colours!!! I never knew grey had so many shades!! Ha. And all the names! Farrow and Ball colours are hilarious- "elephants breath" .. Mmm so appealing!! sounds like a productive day!! Hope things are ok with you and your dd, I know you have touched on it all before. She will find her way.. (Hopefully away from her bf!!)

Today I did something a little jinxsy but I was in "the zone". I got some new Tupperware, including a large serving set. It's so big that it has to go up in the very top cupboard. Our ceilings are 9ft high and the cupboards go all the way up. So I climbed on the counter to put it up and decided to do some rearranging while I was up there... including moving stuff so I could practically empty tidy the shelf where the baby food/items will go . Rationally, I just moved stuff up that we don't use all the time to a higher shelf, for functionality you see, to see how it would go being up there. So it's a little barren but no-one else looks through my cupboards so they won't notice...

Have also added step ladder to our list of things we need (for the last 5 years we've just rarely used the top cupboards rather than fork out for a step ladder ).

I'm feeling a bit better, just had roast dinner so we'll see. DH was cautiously enquiring as to what caused the sicky feeling, told him def not a baby.

I worked for people in SW London once, who'd have nothing but F&B paint. Oh...and custom made carpet.
Funny thing was, the painters were mixing the F&B with cheaper stuff, but charging the higher rate

Haha sparkly yes there are some stupid paint names and so many shades that will just look the same once they're on the wall! I just went for something neutral cheap
I'm ok about dd now, I was very upset but I bumped into her and bf last week and he asked me if I'd go for coffee with them. That was the first time I'd spoken to him and I actually quite liked him. I'm pleased dd and I are friends again and I think it's important she knows she can always come home if she wants.
