Nomio, when you are part of a couple you can't both be sponging off the government more's the pity so I am supposed to be able to live off th'usband's ESA. I can't complain, though, when the rent and council tax is largely paid by you lot the wonderful Welfare State. I worked all my life up until I was an alkie, and so did DH, but we are very grateful every day for the help we get. It just means we don't get to holiday or buy nice things but the way I see it is I've been there and done and seen all that so I don't feel I'm missing out. I'm just very determined that Nancy will have great experiences and that means finding work.

Purdey can I just say one last things about the benefit. Do u get the couple rate and if it's income based then you shoud be entitled to free NHS dental treatment. If not you may be able to claim it on grounds of low income. I used to work in Welfare Rights but that was a good few years ago and things have changed since then

Thanks for the congrats. It's a weird situation - in the years when I was living in the UK my profession came under the authority of a new body, and they had a period where existing qualifications would be recognised under the new system. Of course, I was in the bloody UK and missed the grace period, so when I came back I was treated as a mere underling, a new grad with no experience, no specialism, nothing. So the thing that came through today was the same qualification/title that I should have had all along, only because I was overseas and because they're a bunch of arseholes it took me lots and lots of paperwork and argument and appeals to the law and finding a neat loophole they didn't want me to know about to get my dues. So I'm happy, but also a bit annoyed about how much time and effort it took. Still! onwards and upwards.

On the symptom spotting front melon. My need to pee has increased. Normally I can go most of the day without needing the loo (I know I really need to drink more water) but today I have been 4 times since 8:15am!

Thank you for your excitement. The house is just an ordinary 3 bed, but it seems to have everything we want. It will need work to get it right, but hopefully we can add value by doing it, so that is fine. Location is pretty good. It is quite near Dunstable Downs, which are lovely for trundling round. Our viewing is 5.30, but I think we are both pretty sure we will be putting an offer in. I just hope no-one else with more money wants it!
