So girls, I've been thinking. I'm not sure it's worth me poas with you tomorrow... I might only be 12dpo. Would a bfn at 12dpo be reliable? Xx

Sparkly123 · 29/03/2015 20:07

Spinning of that's a step forward!! I'm so glad you were able to talk to the bf and see another side to him. I'm sure that was reassuring. Is that Poldark thing on tonight?? What is it? I know nothing about it!

Sparkly123 · 29/03/2015 20:08

Sammy I would hold out if you can lovely?! Just so you have the best possible chance of real good news!!

Mummyofonesofar · 29/03/2015 20:14

MrsB I didn't know you could get custom made carpets... Why!!

babybump you need a ladder - can't be climbing on worktops when you have a bump!!

Sammy I'll be 13dpo tomorrow and I think my LP is only 12 so going to test. Depends on your LP I guess. Try to hold out if you can. Flowers

cremedecacao · 29/03/2015 20:16

Sammy... shall we both try and hold out? I will be 12dpo too tomorrow (as you know!) and I was thinking the same. If we implanted 9 or 10dpo we wouldn't get a bfp or symptoms yet (positive thinking!) so maybe we should hold on an extra day and test on Tuesday?

spinningirl10 · 29/03/2015 20:17

Ooh yes PoldarkSmile it's a period drama but sod the story line, I just watch it to lust after Ross PoldarkSmile
Dp's just come home though so I think I'll catch up tomorrow night when he's working.

wotsits1 · 29/03/2015 20:18

Sparkly that's wonderful news! You must feel elated. It must feel like a weights been lifted. fx you made a baby!

loopylou1984 · 29/03/2015 20:20

Ok Creme, deal. Tuesday it is. That'll be 13dpo worst case and 15dpo best case. LP usually 14ish I think so should be fairly accurate I guess...

mrsb0710 · 29/03/2015 20:24

Custom made carpets because they had to keep up with the other families in the area. La-di-da.
I resigned when I found out the cleaner got paid more than me (I was a nanny).

This stupid clock change has thrown me right out. I know I should head to bed shortly so I'm not tired for work, but I wanna stay up!! whine

MaMaPo · 29/03/2015 20:30

Morning all. I'm awake too early, damn it.

How is everyone going? I'm sorry I'm not commenting but I read a cooler if pages here and there and do try to keep everyone in mind. Overall I feel like there's a generally positive feeling around here, right? And a bunch of you are testing tomorrow? I have all things crossed for you.

So my AF is AWOL. Cd27 here and nothing on waking this morning, and nothing came of the mild brown spotting on cd23 and 24. I haven't had a 27 day cycle in the past year. What's going on, Clomid to lengthen my lp is due to start next month!

Anyway, I didn't track my cycle this month but usually ovulate cd 14 or 15. whispers When could I test?

Sparkly123 · 29/03/2015 20:38

MaMa this is exciting no??! So your cycles are usually how Long???

Giddymamma · 29/03/2015 20:41

Yay sparkly! Lovely news. And wouldn't it be great if you had made a baba?!

Spinning, keep that door open for her, she'll appreciate it even if she doesn't take you up on it just yet. (Spoken as ex stroppy teenager, can't imagine how hard it is when you're her mam and you're just trying to look after her.) x

All you possible pee-ers - hold off as long as you can (I have the self restraint of an excited puppy so do as I say not do as I do) and i will keep fingers crossed for a bumper load of bfps!

Sparkly123 · 29/03/2015 20:42

Giddy I love that you still come on here and offer encouragement!!! Proper graduate gold star Star status!!! Grin hope you are ok today Flowers

MaMaPo · 29/03/2015 20:43

Sparkly, my cycles are anywhere between 22-26 days, for the past three months 22-23. I've had two 26 day cycles in the last year.

dojo123 · 29/03/2015 20:46

I know what you mean about all the paint colours but then I have to produce paint specs/schemes as part of projects.
mrsb F&B paints are a nightmare to paint with so I am now trying to steer away from those. Cheek the decorators cutting the paint with cheaper stuff. I wonder if the people you worked for noticed. If I was the interior designer on that job I would have!

Hairstylisttoboris · 29/03/2015 20:47

mamapo wow as a fellow short-cycle sufferer that's great! Have you done anything different? Or is this in anticipation of clomid? Exciting for you!

MaMaPo · 29/03/2015 20:52

Boris this is the first cycle in ages where we've done nothing. No supplements, no opks, no temping, no mumsnet - just sex around the right time. We had our consultant appointment towards the start of the cycle (cd8 or so) and we knew we would start Clomid next cycle do we just took it easy. It's been lovely actually!

Giddymamma · 29/03/2015 20:52

Aw, sparkly, I'm totally invested in yous lot now. Need to know how you all get on! I'm good thanks chicky pea. Apart from burning a coffee cake I was making for dh as a surprise. Kitchen remains intact, but oh has reported that the tiny bit of non burnt cake salvaged from the middle delivers a disturbing after taste. I'll stick with my ice cream.....

frogbubbles · 29/03/2015 21:04

Aw sparkly that is brilliant! You are so lovely I have all my fx for you.

Ok so I have to admit now, I am a farrow and ball addict, yup I'm one of "those" nobs. I bought a tin last week called pigeon, in fairness it does look a bit like pigeon poop so it's a good choice of name Wink I can't afford a custom made carpet though, in fact we are way too scruffy for carpets and have lovely homebase cheap value packs wood floors

Yum to the deliciously Ella slices I have a bag of dates that need using guess I'll be making these at some point next week.

Sparkly123 · 29/03/2015 21:05

MaMa wouldn't it be amazing then if this was your lucky cycle!! I hope so much!!! In the next couple days things should become clear right? Any pre AF symptoms? Hold out! Not long now Flowers

spinningirl10 · 29/03/2015 21:06

Giddy, thank you, yes it's hard but she's 19 so there's nothing I can do. I remember being her age so well and my Mum was totally unapproachable so I try and make sure I'm always here for her.
Ah shame you burnt the cake but it's the thought that countsSmile

Mama, sounds like a lovely calm cycle and very exciting that af hasn't arrived! I've got my fx for you.

spinningirl10 · 29/03/2015 21:12

Sparkly, the DE cakes look lovely, I've seen them before but not made them, have you? Might have to give them a whirl this weekSmile

Ha to pigeon poo paint! Never used F&B paint but would be very pissed off if I paid someone to use it and they mixed it with something elseShock

toadierocks · 29/03/2015 21:20

Yayyyyyy Sparkly Flowers good for you!!!! Wink

Sammy 12dpo might be too early to test and if you can hold out then have a POAS party on Tuesday, avoids false negatives! Brew chillax for another day if poss

DizzyNorthernBird · 29/03/2015 21:22

sparkly do you think I should get a blood test? I've definitely not ov'd this month as I don't have my usual post ov sore boobs and full feeling uterus! Previous months I've had these symptoms so I'm wondering whether the big fight I had with DP at the beginning of the week has thrown me off kilter.

Off to research late ovulation and anovulatory cycle charts.......

spinningirl10 · 29/03/2015 21:23

Sammy, I'd be tempted to poas but would be better to hold out until tues/wedSmile
