Hi ladies, sorry to gate crash! Most of you won't know me, but a few of you will. I was a regular on the buses for a very lonnnnnng time!!! And it has been my absolute dream to get my bfp up on the bus list!!!! (for a year and 7 months!!!)

And here it is....yesterday at 14dpo I got my bfp!!!!! :) finally!!!! I'm so happy! I hope you don't mind me sharing! (I know you won't mind Spinning ;)) x

tessiegirl · 20/03/2015 09:13

Just marking my place.... Smile

Looking out for the eclipse here...its exciting!! Sorry Purdey but I'm not going to apologise for thinking it is fascinating and I strongly disagree that you think it is boring. If the school our kids went to didn't mark the occasion, I would be one of those parents keeping my kids off school to see it too as I think it is important for children to experience natural phenomena that don't happen everyday - as my Grandad always said 'everyday is a school day'....and learning isn't restricted to being inside school. No, seeing an eclipse isn't life changing but we should all learn and appreciate what goes on in the world around us. Rant over.

PurdeyPie · 20/03/2015 09:28

I might wait for it to go dark and then go out shoplifting.

Quietlyhopeful81 · 20/03/2015 09:32

Congrats mamama! Very very pleased for you. Here's to a happy and healthy 9 months!

Agreed Tessie (though if I recall, you and I seem to agree on most things!) My dd and her class have made viewers in school and are going out to watch.

Mamama31 · 20/03/2015 09:33

Purdey - I posted my chart first thing this morning... Would you mind having a quick look and just reassure me I have ovd? Someone on the April bus mentioned that she thought the .2 rise had to be from one temp to the next rather than overall? Xx

Mamama31 · 20/03/2015 10:05

For those interested... yes it was natural but we were on the waiting list for ivf. All tests showed all is fine with me, but DH had slight issue with sperm- 20% antibodies showing, they weren't concerned about the rest of results but his morphology was 7% and I wanted to get this improved. That sa was last year and we haven't had results yet of most recent one. But over the last 6 months he's been taking 1000mg vit c, selenium supplements, wellmans, zinc and a handful of mixed nuts each day. I have been taking 50mg b6, b100 complex, 1000mg vit c and a handful of mixed nuts.

The funniest thing is we are no slackers, we literally put our all in to it every single cycle for the last year and 7 months. But this month I was away on a hol then DH was on night shift so we only managed dtd once (so unheard of for us) on O day.

loopylou1984 · 20/03/2015 10:06

Thanks for the pic mummy! We couldn't see anything through all the clouds here! X

Mamama31 · 20/03/2015 10:07

Oh and most significantly, I must not forget...DH quit smoking a year ago but has been using e cigs, however he recently went right down to Omg nicotine in e cig! I'm sure that has helped!!!!

spinningirl10 · 20/03/2015 10:10

Dtd once Mama! Wow, amazing and just shows its a lottery. All those vits must have worked Smile I only take epo and Q10 and maca in smoothies/porridge. Maybe I'll take dps vitamin C as well.

Congratulations mama! It's so lovely to hear a story like yours to give the rest of us hope when we're finding it all so frustrating! Have a healthy and happy pregnancy Smile

spinningirl10 · 20/03/2015 10:13

Mamama31 · 20/03/2015 10:15

Spinning I did take maca and epo, actually I've tried most things but stopped all that ages ago. The most significant thing that I did myself is probably taking 50mg b6 (because of the spotting I had) but the last 2 months I only started the b100 complex vits and I noticed my skin had improved as well as pms symptoms so think that has balanced some hormones def!
