frog everything crossed for you. May be too early for BFP. Great mug Wink

autumn so sorry you are going through this and hope so much for a good outcome for you.keep us updated how you get on. I know what you mean though about "feeling pregnant". I felt the same when I had my early mc in jan. You just know. I had spotting for two days then red flow. The hospital told me to count from first day or proper flow as CD 1. But we don't know how it's going to go for you.. I don't want to put you on a downer at all by sharing my experience above but just answering your question re CD1. Thinking of you and hope you get good news Flowers

juney all crossed for this month for you! With all that's been happening at least you have been distracted! How are things today?? I love carrot cake!!!

whatsforye hi!! Let's hope for a sparkly BFP from you very soon! Wink

Purdita ah the baby group joy today is it? Baking sounds good though.. I want some Cake. Flowers

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 14:50

Nutella on a baked potato is a joke right? HmmShock

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 14:58

Boris sorry you are feeling low. What cycle is this now?? 8? 9? It's hard going in a job you despise so much. HOWEVER, try try try not to countdown to "Infertility".. The more cycles that pass.. The closer you are to the BFP. 85% of us ladies get preggers within 12 months.. It can take a while, and does for many. That is considered normal. I know the waiting is utterly rubbish and draining. But you must must must focus On getting your baby, because you will. If you want to go down worst case scenario routes then know that there Will be a back up plan.. There's lots and lots of things that can be done to help if it ever came to it. There's nothing to say it won't happen in the next few cycles. You have waited this long .. You WILL get there. You WILL. I am keeping the faith for you today! It's natural you will have down days and feel hopeless.. But you will pick yourself up again because that's what you have to do to get your baby.. And re the job, once you do get your BFP I'm sure it will add a sparkle to your day, knowing what's coming. And your days at work will
Simply be going through the motions until your baby arrives. Sending Flowers don't give up! Star

juneybean · 24/03/2015 15:11

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/03/2015 16:04

Thank you juney and sparkly
sparkly that nearly made me cry. So lovely

I'm heading into cycle 10 now. But first doctors appointment is next week. This will be the month to be proactive.

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 16:14

Boris oh no!! Sorry lovely!! Didn't want tears! Ok cycle 10. Doctor app sounds a good step forward too. See -- plans in place! Don't stressGrin

dojo123 · 24/03/2015 16:33

Afternoon

boris sorry to hear you're feeling down. Hoping AF stays away for you and it is your cycle this month Cake

purdey DH would join you on your dislike of beetroot, also he hated sprouts. Trying to get him to like carrot cake so blummin tasty but failing so far.

Back on beetroot, my sis just sent me her list of foods from her dietician for her IVF treatment and they recommend beetroot for both the ladies and gentlemen to aid fertility, also pomegranate juice, lots of green veggies, nuts and lean protein.

juney glad you charge didn't need stitches in the end. Hope you're feeling ok about thing now. Fx the remaining days of you 2WW go quickly and you get your bfp.

mummy hope your day went as well as it possibly could for your fil funeral. Hope you ds and dp got through it ok.

autumn it was me that shared my early experience. As Sparkly says above. I took CD1 as the day of full flow.

eskimo sorry Nutella on jacket potato does just sound weird. I however join you on the perfect partner which is the humble spoon.

DH is symptom spotting for me. He keeps messaging me from work asking how I'm feeling.
I said that the petrol smelt really strong when I went to fill the car earlier. His reply was "symptom!" petrol always smell strong though!
Said that I feel really spotty at the mo.. symptom! no, I keep picking them so they keep spreading
First thing I said my nipples were feeling tender.. Symptom! no, trying to stop him groping my boobs!

MelonMelon · 24/03/2015 16:34

Hello lovely March ladies. There's a lot of knowledge her I'm hoping someone can help! I'm CD19 and have got brown spotting, AF not due for another 10 days. Very confused and worried Sad

juneybean · 24/03/2015 16:37

melon how many days since ovulation?

MelonMelon · 24/03/2015 16:45

I don't know, fertile windows started last Monday but i never got a positive opk. I have 28 day cycles.

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 16:50

mummy so sorry I must have missed that you had funeral today. Sending Flowers and peace to you all. I know it will be such a Hard day for you all remembering and celebrating such a wonderful man. Another Star is shining in the sky

melon hi lovely! Cd 19? Ok. So you have never had This before?? I usually start brown spotting day 20/21 but If you never get it then... Mmm. Do you temp? What's it doing?

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 16:50

Ps melon don't worry!!

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 16:51

Dojo your dh is so sweet. I
Really hope for you that everything is a SYMPTOM! Grin

MelonMelon · 24/03/2015 16:55

No never had it before, usually spot the day before AF goes into full flow but not at this early stage. I don't temp....yet! It's so weird, too late to be end of last AF and too early to be anything else?

victoria401 · 24/03/2015 17:06

Sorry my miseryness from yesterday rubbed off of you Boris, ooooops. That wasn't my plan, sorry if that was the case. Rambling on about my infertility issues without thinking about how you must be feeling Sad

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 17:06

Melon may not be too early for implanation.. But I don't want to get your hopes up either. If you don't temp and didn't get a positive OPK it's so hard to say just monitor it and see how it goes next couple days.. All crossed for you Flowers

Sparkly123 · 24/03/2015 17:09

victoria sorry if you are feeling low too.. I must have missed your post yesterday. Hope you are feeling a bit better today. Sending Flowers

eskimolaura · 24/03/2015 17:22

Can I just make it very clear that I have NEVER eaten a Nutato or a Spudella; however, if it becomes a delicacy served only in Michelin restaurants, I would under no uncertain terms, claim copyright and live off the royalties.

Two things:

  1. I woke up with what appeared to be an abundance of EWCM in my pants.
  1. I have had a day from hell at work. Without going into too much detail, I have cried three times today, and crying at work is just not something I do. Having been called into an extremely stressful and quite unfair meeting, I wanted to put an end to it by saying 'Excuse me, can we just stop here please; I can feel my cervical mucus drying up as we speak'. Either that, or walk out and straight to the doctor's to get signed off with stress. I am sure that no period in 5 months must have something, if not everything to do with stress levels. I will pick myself up and carry on, as we all do...

Hope everyone's ok today x

dojo123 · 24/03/2015 17:32

eskimo sorry you've had a really shitty day and I can't imagine how frustrating it must be to not have a period for five months and not know what the blummin heck your body is doing. It's not right.
Sending you lots of Cake with Nutella slathered on top for you not a potato in sight Wink.

eskimolaura · 24/03/2015 17:43

Thank you dojo Slavering at the slathered Nutella atop o'that cake :)

Just read back Boris I'm sorry that you too are feeling particularly rubbish this week. We're allowed to feel down sometimes, but we will get back on it with renewed hope and vigour soon, because it's what we do. Simples. We're all here whenever you need a moan or a shoulder.

Purdey Are you making the cake??? Wang a slice over 'ere love; I will smother it in Nutella and pretend it's a Maris Piper.

loopylou1984 · 24/03/2015 17:47

Work really gets in the way of keeping up on here! Hugs to everyone who's feeling sad today.

Melon - I was going to say implantation too, but keep your feet on the ground for now. Fx!

Sparkly - how are you feeling today?

Waves to everyone, Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/03/2015 17:56

Sorry eskimo that you had a crappy day. Big hug.

victoria my glumness is self inflicted. Not a result of you at all. It's end of holidays blues, imminent AF and hearing tales of how my boss bullied a co-worker into tears and illness that landed me in the dumps. I'll pull myself up, esp knowing I'm off to the doctors - positive actions. How are you today? Xxxx

PurdeyPie · 24/03/2015 18:04

Marking place. Cake just out of oven. Will be back. In the meantime, Boris, I don't understand your concerns about mat pay and having to stick with your job. Please can you explain? Eskimo, I won't pry regarding the 'unfairness' and stress of that meeting. Is walking away from that company an absurd notion? I know I am naive when it comes to careers as I haven't built a life around jobs like some of you clever and hard-working women, but I will say that work misery should never be tolerated. Being undervalued/disrespected/underpaid/bullied/overworked/made to feel inadequate: is this what you went through uni for?

PurdeyPie · 24/03/2015 18:08

Sorry. I really didn't mean to sound sniffy there. I know how irrevocably stuck we sometimes feel. I just believe there is always a way out and a path towards contentment if not wealth
