Been lurking on the last few threads as I can't keep up! Love the cake chat. If I can't get pregnant I shall get fat instead.

11dpo today (I think), having light cramping, some dizzy spells. Got a ragingly positive OPK yesterday - it went dark within seconds, even before the control line showed. Much darker than the control. What does THAT mean?! Got my hopes up and cracked open a frer, but t'was a bfn.

Must not test again until the weekend...

Beetroot in cake was a thread on mn this week and I said that vegetable is Satan's spunk. I was unequivocal about it. I'll do courgette and carrot and parsnip but that beetroot can go fuck itself.

I'm grumpy this morning. Had to take temp at 5.40 and it was lower than yesterday's, but yesterday's temp was high despite being taken at 4.40. As I don't believe in temp adjusters I'll have to suck it up.

13dpo temp 36.1 again this morn. Could not resist peeing on a IC got a bfn. Now feel awful so off to make a cup of tea (not liking coffee) and will watch Jeremy Kyle before work.

What's glad you have come out of lurking, I'm not up to scratch on what that could mean, someone will pop along who does, fx for you

Thanks for all the best wishes- didn't update yesterday as I wanted to wait and see how the day progressed. I've still got bleeding/spotting. It's not a heavy flow like a normal period. More like the last days of your period when I get the Brown sludge. Sorry if that's tmi! I know lots of people have written that it's quite common in early pregnancy but I don't feel pregnant anymore and I suppose that's the biggest clue that's it's over. I'm going to get a hpt and double check and speak to mw tomorrow as planned if only so that it's recorded on my notes. Can I ask about cycles? Do I count yesterday's bleed /spotting as cycle day one just like a period? Thank to the poster -sorry can't scroll back for name- who shared her early loss. It's reassuring to read your account.

Just try to stay calm, it could be perfectly normal. I think mine fully kicked in within 2-3 days of the spotting starting. Docs advised that I'd know fairly quickly one way or the other.

I was due to go away for my 30th but cancelled the trip to stay at home (in the bath). So perhaps best take it easy over the next few days, just in case.

purds I like beetroot, but not in a cake gag

autumn they may want to scan to see what is going on. I know they get worried about retention and infection. Not trying to alarm you, just giving you a heads up.

I love the idea of beetroot in a cake. But then, am tanking back the beetroot juice at the moment cos it's just soooo gooood. Am clearly pregnant and having a craving .

I'm 9dpo today but have been so distracted that first half of wait has gone quickly! Bet now I'm alone it'll get worse... I said to friend last night I should have a dip tomorrow as it'll be implantation and sure enough I had a 0.2 dip... but feel it should be MORE to be a proper dip.

Having read back... I haven't seen any stats... does any one want to update us?!

PurdsI have recently got work shoes from next £26 really comfy and sturdy, so hoping they are long wearing, maybe give them a try.

Met friend walked past a chip shop and have been gagging since, coffee was off the menu, tried earl grey- yuk, tried green tea blah. Just feeling very nauseous. Have bought a CB digital for tomorrow morning the lovely pharmacist only charged me £4.98 by accident!! Result!!!

Fear AF is on its way, saw the tiniest of tiny red speckle in my CM so bought myself a little gift to cheer myself up.

purdey I am feeling a bit down. Yes. I Hate my job, only started last summer and hoped to get preggers so I wouldnt be working here to long. But sigh, there is no sign of that happening anytime soon. I'm stuck here working with unfriendly people, for a bitch of a woman. It's hard work. I want to find a new job but there are so few options for me and I don't want to risk my maternity rights.... Feel like each month is a step closer to the reality of infertility, and in the mean time each cycle pushes any maternity leave 23 days further away.
