kick in the flange? Shock

ThePug · 23/03/2015 21:56

Yep Purdey, what mrsb said - don't bother wearing your nice smart shoes for the walk. I spent 4 years doing that because I only lived 5 mins from my office and the amount of time & money I spent getting all the heels replaced was ridiculous. Whenever I go to London during the rush hour I always notice very smartly dressed women with bright white trainers on! If you don't want to wear trainers, some flat ballet shoes would look less obvious but could be replaced when worn out. I have primark plain black ones for this reason.

Hi Victoria

Ugh, I have to go and pack a bag now as am working away the next three days. This means I will be travelling & in meetings all day for three whole days and won't be able to check in on you all throughout the day. Panic stations, what if I can't keep up! At least by the time I'm home it will be nearly the weekend again (and nearer the end of 2ww)

Sparkly123 · 23/03/2015 21:57

Purdey I pm'd you!

babsbunny · 23/03/2015 21:57

Purdey, I too second Clark's. Can't beat em, and theh ALWAYS have a sale (its like dfs)

loopylou1984 · 23/03/2015 22:04

Rrrr Juney, pure accident, couldn't have been helped. I'm sure your boss won't think that, how long have you been working with them?

No Victoria, not booked, but pretty sure it'll be the next step after I see consultant next month.

I get my shoes from m&s. The cheap range. But I drive to work... I think if I walked I would wear trainers Smile

frogbubbles · 23/03/2015 22:05

Babs I'm waiting for the yellow Orla Bibi beauties to go in the sale

eskimolaura · 23/03/2015 22:28

Purdey Did you see this thread a bit further down the boards? Don't know if it will help you, but it's very recent and relevant.

Mmmmn, cake. You guys are making me hungry!

I have an amazing recipe for chocolate cake which uses beetroot. It sounds weird, but is so lovely & moist & no-one ever guesses the secret ingredient.

Unfortunately all my cooking stuff is in storage at the minute, so I can't post it, but if you Google, you might be able to find something similar.

Woolly84 · 23/03/2015 22:52

Ooo loving the cake chat! Smile nomio that sounds like an interesting recipe, may have to look it up!
I'm a clarks fan too, super comfy heels for work. But agree with what the others are saying, trainers/pumps were what I wore when I used to commute to London and walk to/from station etc.
Right, bedtime for me, night night ladies!!

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 23/03/2015 23:00

Sorry you had a tough day sparkly
purdey same as mrsb comfy shoes to walk and smart ones to change in to.

Sparkly123 · 23/03/2015 23:09

Sparkly123 · 23/03/2015 23:15

Tessie and Sammy honestly I would go with victorias account of the HSG! I'm sure mine was bad for a lot of other reasons. Feel free to pm me but I wouldn't worry as mutant me is not the "norm"! Flowers

frogbubbles · 23/03/2015 23:31

I haven't heard of that sparkly I will check it out though. So tonight I've been trying to take my mind off testing with my one and only FRER by re-designing the entire house and how to declutter via Pinterest and eating an entire jar of black olives, now feeling slightly sick and off to bed! g'night all

ThePug · 23/03/2015 23:39

sparkly Please don't call yourself a mutant lovely, you are nothing of the sort. We are all different and many of us have our own issues, health or otherwise, but that makes us individuals. And besides, every time I read mutant my brain goes to teenage turtles and that's not what I want to picture with your posts!

Sparkly123 · 23/03/2015 23:43

Pug turtle power!! Ha ha. I know sorry. I just mean I really don't think it's the norm for that test to be like that so I don't want to discourage anyone! Thank you Flowers

Sparkly123 · 23/03/2015 23:43

frog keep that frer . You will need it at the last minute don't use it too soon! Flowers

Sparkly123 · 23/03/2015 23:55

Autumn thinking of you and hope you have some answers. Flowers

spinningirl10 · 24/03/2015 06:36

Purdey, sorry your progesterone result was not as you'd hoped. I hope the link someone posted is helpful to you. Can anything be done to improve it?
Oh and shoes, maybe try TKMax although they're a bit hit and miss. I Second the Clarks sale or M&S and also Debenhams sale. Hope you hear about the job soon.

The Pug, hope your work trip is ok and it's always good if it helps the 2ww go a little faster.

Morning!

6/8dpo here and don't feel any different to the last 16 cycles Hmm
Boobs are a bit sore, but that's fairly normal for me.

Loving the cake chat! I enjoy baking, but am terrible at it! Cakes always come out wonky ?? Xx

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/03/2015 07:13

11 dpo here. No symptoms.
My cakes are always wonky too. Can't make buns in the oven, either literal or euphemistic.
Sigh.

babsbunny · 24/03/2015 07:22

Mrs Boris. Practice makes perfect buns x

Hairstylisttoboris · 24/03/2015 07:24
