You know the drill by now ...

Rules of Entry - must be over 30, TTC no. 1 for over a year, be suitably evil and Hag like, willing to shout Cunt at the moon on regular occasions, consume extra gin when our fellow hags are unable to, and to get the nipple tassles out for any successful Hag ...

and now we've been trained by the government in our new MI5 roles, we are likely to get a little Ninja on your ass if you babydust round here ...

No admittance without a complete BESHtionnaire - see below.

Oh hags I'm a frickin idiot, someone slap me, please! For some unearthly reason I woke up at 3am this morning, desperate for a wee and while I was there decided it would be a most brilliant idea to POAS. Of course it was a BFN. I've spent all day trying to rationalise this information while in reality moping about like a prize twat.

I'm mad at myself for giving in and then mad at myself for wasting a day of holiday. I'm 10dp2dt. What hope is there that it could still be good news for us? Please talk some sense into me hags and not just of the sunshiny variety but of the practical warts and all odds.

Pass the gin smelling salts please.

barkingtreefrog · 30/03/2015 17:46

Too early for a conclusive result chez! Panic not... I poas at 12dpo when I definitely was pg after the iui and I spent all day squinting at the thing but thought it might be, DCW couldn't see a thing.
And 3am is pretty much 11dpo really....

It is NOT over. I'm not having it.

EricaJ · 30/03/2015 18:05

Cherry implantation usually takes place around 9dpo and we only start producing enough Hcg to be detected 2-3 days after that. So you would have had to have an extremely early implantation for a test to detect Hcg so early on!

I know it's hard but try to put that BFN out of your mind, hag!

cherrycoconut · 30/03/2015 18:24

Thanks for your common sense hags. I promise not to POAS again until at least the weekend and stop putting the wind up myself. Talking of such my progesterone bloating symptoms have disappeared today, deflated with my hopes no doubt. Menkul menkul, I need to recover my zen!

Fabuluce · 30/03/2015 19:00

Definitely too early Cherry my sweet!! Now please go and re-zen yourself tout suite. You are NOT out of the game - I need only refer you to my late late test - I didn't get a positive until 17dp2dt! Besides which I refuse to believe it - I'm keeping hold of the perch of positivity for you and re-checking my hold, yes my vicelike grip is still in place, toe-holding is confirmed.

You is all wise hags, I am vowed to stay away from the sticks and resume my wait with increased patience and decorum.

TheRainDrops · 30/03/2015 21:38

what everyone else said. Monkfish of menkul mollification chez, no more peeing on sticks unless you're caught short in a wood until the weekend!

How's the cold barking? Wink

erica 2ww blues are the pits, and you can't even have gin to speed it up at least not as much anyway

No sign of the letter yet. I shall resume sentry position by the letterbox forthwith. Might need a chair tho after doing a bonkers Jillian Michaels dvd this evening!!

barkingtreefrog · 30/03/2015 21:49

I am swimming in rivers seas of mucus rain.

chez give the sticks to someone else who will hide them from you until a suitable day. I don't trust myself not to break unless I do this.....

badb · 31/03/2015 08:20

Morning hags. It's a lovely, but very windy, morning here. I'm so depressed that it's only Tuesday! I feel like I had no real weekend, due to wedding-related comings and goings.

cherry, echoing what everyone else said - far too early. Indeed, hide those sticks!

barking, hope that mucus is a good sign! Lovely.

rain - how's the letterbox?

I'm so tired

Blue2014 · 31/03/2015 08:54

Yep, basically what bad said (except I didn't go to a wedding, have no recollection of what stole my weekend but it was something)

Rain - laughing loads at the "unless you get caught short in the woods" re- poas Grin

Is it home time yet? Oh no, not for another 10 hours Confused

OP posts:
Blue2014 · 31/03/2015 08:55

Besides there will be no poas prior to me being warned about it - I cannot get these crazy dwarves in line if you don't warn me to hold them back!

OP posts:
cherrycoconut · 31/03/2015 09:53

Sticks are firmly away hags, fanks for the cajoling and mollification, tres appreciated.

Barking, I hope you feel less snotty soon, gotta be a good sign... Hang in there till Thursday evening. Just think of the 4 day bank holiday coming up hags.

Right, off out in the wind, hoping not to get caught short in the woods or mixed up with any dwarves.

EricaJ · 31/03/2015 11:49

Rain I don't do the 'behave pregnant for the 2ww' thing. I would if I was on treatment and I actually did after the IUIs for all the good it did but yes, I try to take it easy on the wine/gin, exercise, I eat all the nuts and pineapples, wear socks 24/7 etc.

Of course, all the reading on how implantation works -and how little you can do to affect it either way-- will never stop making me feel that I could do more but quite frankly, behaving pregnant 50% of the time for 3 years is just not feasible for me.

barkingtreefrog · 31/03/2015 16:05

Blue little bit closer to hometime ....

Erica I made the mistake of putting Ivf in the pinterest search bar yesterday, just out of boredom/interest as I lay in bed not able to breathe. Really wish I hadn't done that. Full of tips to make ivf a success. Only I'm not doing any of them, so.....
Total and utter headfuckery.
Might be helpful if I'd read it before, but not at this stage....

chez hope you didn't hey blown away, crazy weather out there today.

EricaJ · 31/03/2015 16:39

Barking My fertility consultant's main advice is 'stay away from the internet, if there is something you should absolutely do/not to, we will let you know. You will just drive yourself crazy for no reason'.

But I am always googling about pineapple and nuts and eating/not eating spices so I know what you mean.

cherrycoconut · 31/03/2015 19:33

It's windy out there hags but Coconut horse is a pro

It's good advice Erica, you could tie yourself in knots with the do this, don't do that recommendations. With the woo, the acu needles, eating well and keeping a healthy lifestyle know one could criticise you for not doing enough Barking!

So Erica, do you have a take on Tumeric? I find it really good for my eczema but have reduced my dose for this round of TTC to about a third as I wasn't sure if it would interfere or not. I notice if I don't have it though!

How are the thighs bearing up after the abuse Rain.

FizzyFeet · 31/03/2015 21:23

Evening all.

cherry pliz to explain about the turmeric? Do you take tablets for it? I have eczema too but only mildly and haven't heard of the turmeric thing.

I went through a long phase of googling ways to increase fertility etc and came to your doctors conclusion, erica. Nowadays I pop a few Brazil nuts when I remember, keep my feet warm (they're always cold) and that's mostly it.

Can't work out if it's the downregging drugs that are making me feel bliergh or if I have some kind of lurgy. Really hoping it's not the latter - going to see my family at the weekend, and sis is still having chemo, so I definitely don't want to give it to her! Downregging seems to be taking a long time this time. Looking forward to swapping to the happier drucks!

EricaJ · 31/03/2015 21:29

The *don't go on the internet' comment was brought to you by Erica, who is currently googling '6dpo twinge on my right side what does it mean'

EricaJ · 31/03/2015 21:39

Just saw the 'Tumeric' comment for some reason... I take you mean turmeric? I use it frot cooking now and then, how much is it too much?

Holding your toe Fizzy - cancer treatment is pretty gruelling but we need to remind ourselves it is all for a good cause!

barkingtreefrog · 31/03/2015 21:49

Will you lot just shut up about the brazil nuts?! I made myself a nut roast at the weekend just so I could hide some brazil nuts in it but can't make myself eat them 'raw' as I hate nuts.... And then felt guilty, as it shouldn't be too much to ask to just force some down. And then wondered whether this cycle could succeed or fail based on my failure to eat a few brazil nuts... Confused

fizz hope you shake it off soon.

Erica you hypocrite! Wink

I don't know why I'm doing this to myself, haven't watched it since I realised it wasn't going to happen easily for us as just got Envy or Angry , but just flicked through the channels, noticed OBEM and left it on. There's a couple on who are having a baby after 6 years of ttc and 3 rounds of ivf. It's male factor infertility and he was talking about how he almost left her a couple of times 'so she could find someone who could give her what she wanted'. They've been together over 13 years. I'm in floods of tears...

I won't mention the woman on her 3rd (5th if you count the step kids) who said it was 'natural to worry when you're older'. She's 35 for fucks sake Angry.

barkingtreefrog · 31/03/2015 21:51

And someone tell me it's waaay too early for symptom spotting? I had dinner a couple of hours ago and I'm starving again already, feeling slightly nauseous. Had the same last night. Hmm

barkingtreefrog · 31/03/2015 21:53

'Once she's got the baby in her arms it's going to be the best thing in the world, to finally be able to give her what she wants'.

Fabuluce · 31/03/2015 22:05

Boak - step away from OBEM - it's the devils work for the BESH!

Barking find yourself another selenium provider and you're sorted - I eat Brazil nuts because I like them Wink and it gives me something to feel good about but there's loads if things you probs do that I don't so don't stress yourself.

In other news I'm currently watching Outlander on amazon prime and I now can't stop thinking in Scottish. I wanted to type yoursen earlier...ya ken?

Erica. Stop it!!!

Fizz, downreg drucks do have a tendency to make people feel rough but keep an eye on yourself for the next couple of days - definitely don't want to be sharing lurgs with your sis. How is she doing?

I rent out the house I had before TWH and I met and have just found out my tenants have scarlet fever - definitely need to avoid them!!!
