You know the drill by now ...

Rules of Entry - must be over 30, TTC no. 1 for over a year, be suitably evil and Hag like, willing to shout Cunt at the moon on regular occasions, consume extra gin when our fellow hags are unable to, and to get the nipple tassles out for any successful Hag ...

and now we've been trained by the government in our new MI5 roles, we are likely to get a little Ninja on your ass if you babydust round here ...

No admittance without a complete BESHtionnaire - see below.

Yay and big fat whoops! Well done Barking!!!

barkingtreefrog · 23/03/2015 13:41

Firmly ensconced on the sofa, rain, under the blanket and wood burning stove on Grin. DCW has made me lunch and is now going to fix my laptop so I can work from the sofa tomorrow! No boxsets but got a couple of csi/ncis recorded and daytime TV will do me between snoozes Grin. Still feeling a little spaced out. Those drugs were good Grin.

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 13:55

Barking Glad to hear you are all nice & cosy!

Ok hags, I need some BESH wisdom here.

I am on CD 12, I am pretty sure I usually ov on day 15, maybe 16.

However, I have been feeling a bit crampy and had lots of CM so I took an OPK, one of those internet cheapie dunk-in-pee ones, it was nearly positive, test line just a shade lighter than the control one.

Intrigued, I took out one of the posh Clearblue dual ones and used it in the same urine and it was completely negative.

What do you make of it? We could just have sex tonight I guess, but we did yesterday too and I don't want to start too early and then run out of steam by actual OV day (I am pretty sure this has happened quite often). We are both a bit tired and stressed at the moment and want to have 'efficient sex'.

What do you think, hags? DTD tonight or save our energy for tomorrow?

barkingtreefrog · 23/03/2015 14:04

Erica with the cheap opks I get progressively darker lines for a few days before a definite positive one, so I'd suggest leaving it until tomorrow. eod is supposed to be better for sperm quality anyway Smile.

Fabuluce · 23/03/2015 14:12

Yes every other day is best for both of you Wink

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 14:28

Phew! Thanks Fab and Barking! First month of TTC since December and was getting stressed already.

I am going to an Insanity class for the first time tonight and I have the feeling I might be a bit dead tired afterwards!

TheRainDrops · 23/03/2015 15:18

How soon after droid do you guys get back in the saddle, so to speak? and how long do you carry on for? I always mean to start CD8 and go eod till, like, CD21 but very often it's CD10 and we're out off puff by about CD17. pathetic! ttc sechsing is so boring!!!

MissHobart · 23/03/2015 15:19

Go go Cherry-Pip and Embies!! Grin

Cluster PESH here we come! Grin

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 17:10

Rain Same here! Everyone was telling me that OPKs would just 'add stress' but I find it a relief to know when I'm ovulating instead of ACTUALLY stressing about a) catching the egg and b) what TTC is doing to our sex life.

Our plan this month is OED and then 3 days in row from a positive OPK!

badb · 23/03/2015 17:18

Great news, barking! Very exciting.

Erica, I usually ovulate between CD15-17, and we start on CD10, eod. By CD14, I'm already sick of it, to be honest! But we persevere. I can't stand shagging on schedule. I'd better get updiffed soon, because my libido is gone through the floor.

Day one back in the office, down. I fell over my laptop cable while carrying my laptop, my phone, and a cup of coffee to my desk a few hours ago. Despite landing pretty much on my face, I managed to break neither phone nor computer. I did skin my knees (ripping my tights), spill all my coffee, and fracture my dignity though.

cherrycoconut · 23/03/2015 17:32

Amazing news Barking, 8 is fantastico Grin this is really positive and sounds like you're all set for keeping the menkul at bay too. Everything crossed for more good news to tomorrow

Bad I hope your wounded pride and your knees are recovering, what a day. Have a trebuchet of rotting fish and the cockles of comfort. Tomorrow is a new day.

Cheers MissH, you can't have that long to go now in PESHland right?!

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 17:35

badb Well done for not breaking the phone or the computer... your dignity is intact!

Yeah, I know. I wonder if we'll ever recover from 2 years of scheduled sex. We've been TTC for over three now and the first year was ok but from then on...

Any PESH or CHESH (how do you call the mummy BESH?) can give us some hope here?

MissHobart · 23/03/2015 18:19

No not long now, CS five weeks on Friday!Confused Grin

As for the sex thing, pregnancy is a massive dampner on that! I think it's been 3 weeks and I'm not really arsed, feel sorry for BR though cos it'll be a while after I'm sure before I'll want/be able to! Hmm

After that I have no idea what a normal sex life is anymore, 2 years of ttc and pregnancy has made it a distant memory. I'm really really looking forward to doing it for no reason at all! I'll get back to you on that when if out ever happens! Confused Grin

Some further along CRESH will be more help! Smile

MissHobart · 23/03/2015 18:21

Good news about the sex Bugs Grin (we are still good at the non ttc, just not at the actual TTC stuff!)

Can someone do me a favour? Mr Blue is due his spaff results this week, he's going to the GP without me for results - seeing as he has no knowledge of any of this stuff - what should I be telling him to make note of to feedback to me?

OP posts:
Fabuluce · 23/03/2015 22:19

Make sure he actually writes down the details or gets the GP to give him a full print out of the results and don't be fobbed off with the classic 'oh yes you're results look fine' rubbish. You want to know quality, quantity, motility Smile it's all very well if you've got twenbillion swimmers but if they've all got wonky heads and can't swim in the right direction then they're not going to be very helpful!!

Fabuluce · 23/03/2015 22:19

Fuckit. Your not you're obviously!

FizzyFeet · 23/03/2015 22:34

Howdy hags, sorry to have been AWOL. Nice to see you bugs and MissH!

barking woohoo! Eight eggs is brilliant. Everything crossed for good fertilisation news tomorrow.

badb glad you made it through your first day back. Always a tough one.

Agree with fab about getting a printout. You need data, dammit!

Minor panic here this evening when I realised that I am due to start downregging on weds but don't have the right drugs! All this head-in-the-sand stuff is wonderfully relaxing until things like this happen

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 06:36

rain to be honest we haven't TTC in the traditional way for months. We had the iui last May and got pg, then after the mc in June it took 6 weeks to stop bleeding, and we had been referred to the RMC clinic by then, so had to not TTC. It was November by the time we got the results, and the following month we didn't do the schedule thing as I was terrified of getting pg without having the progesterone support (ha the irony, given we haven't actually managed to ever get pg without help). We saw the consultant in December and booked in for iui in January so that took up that month. When that was over we went back to the consultant and booked in the current round of ivf.
When I was temping it showed I ov'd usually between cd19-22 so we'd start EOD from around cd10, but only strictly from CD 15 if we couldn't be arsed.

bad hope your dignity has recovered!

cherry how are you doing?

Wow, missh, not long at all!!! Shock

blue as fab said, send him with a bit of paper saying mobility quality, quantity, that's what you need to know. If they'll give him a printout even better.

fizz woohoo! all go soon! Grin How have you got the wrong drugs? Have they given you the wrong prescription? Well done for actually noticing, I think I'd have noticed when I came to have to do the first one Blush .

I've definitely not been up for hours desperate to know how many fertilised..... Confused

Fabuluce · 24/03/2015 08:00

Barking - keeping everything crossed for you!

Fizz, yes how have you got the wrong drucks and well done for spotting! At least you noticed in time a phew. And how exciting Smile you'll be joining us on the cluster diff in no time!

Bad, how's that dignity doing now?

cherrycoconut · 24/03/2015 08:59

Thinking good thoughts for you this morning Barking. Hoping you are managing to stay calm!
Wow, you have an acshool date to meet you baby MissH, exciting stuff!

Keep calm Fizz, you noticed and it's fixable, that is what matters. Star for you! Cockles of comfort my friend, hope the drucks and the menkul don't get you too bad and you can hang on to the zen.

Fab just sending arm rubs your way love, keep going, we're all still rooting for you.

I'm having a luffly time off work, pottering around doing nice things. It's still a bit of a grey line as to what's too much but I figure you've also go to do what makes you happy right? Sitting on a sofa watching trash telly would definitely make me stress. I'm much better outside, working on with my horse (not riding just on the ground) and doing little jobs. I'm only handling horses I Know well and not lifting too much but I feel really well. I keep breaking into a run or a little skip by accident Blush eating runny poached egg middle, air dried ham. And then remembering. The list goes on...

Off out now to enjoy the spring sunshine, looks like it's going off a bit later in the week, reckon I'll stay in and put my feet up when it rains!

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 09:01

It's now 9.00. Where's my bloody phone call? Angry

EricaJ · 24/03/2015 09:13

Thinking of you Barking!

Cherry It's a delicate balance between looking after yourself and taking it easy and actually not going crazy by spending two weeks, ruminating in the sofa. Sounds like you got it just right! Grin

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 09:17

7!!!!!! Fucking hell!!! Shock

No comment on quality, they'll tell me more on that when they call on Thursday - they'll either do transfer on Thursday afternoon or Saturday, but they're hoping for Saturday.

Please send lots of growth and survival vibes to the little embies!!!! Grin
