You know the drill by now ...

Rules of Entry - must be over 30, TTC no. 1 for over a year, be suitably evil and Hag like, willing to shout Cunt at the moon on regular occasions, consume extra gin when our fellow hags are unable to, and to get the nipple tassles out for any successful Hag ...

and now we've been trained by the government in our new MI5 roles, we are likely to get a little Ninja on your ass if you babydust round here ...

No admittance without a complete BESHtionnaire - see below.

How many fertilised bugs? I can't remember. It's just the not every egg containing a follicle that worries me, seems to be quite common. Takes our chances down even further. Roll on tomorrow when I'll at least know how many eggs.

We went to an outdoor cinema thing this afternoon. DCW's mate was there. With wife and baby. I actually burst into tears and walked off. Not been that bad for ages Sad.

Fab you've done amazingly well to date, wobbles are allowed and even to be expected, especially approaching the dreaded date. This is a different pregnancy and I just know the outcome will be different for you too, but have a toe hold and the flatfish of fortitude. We're all still rooting for you.

Barking its tense times and you're bound to be feeling it, try not to dwell on the detail and just keep believing lovely. We're all counting on miracles.

badb · 22/03/2015 18:44

Evening, hags. Hope you are all doing ok.

Fab, it's completely natural that you feel worried. More flatfish of fortitude, as well as some stargazers of serenity, for you.

barking, best of luck for tomorrow. Everything is crossed for you.

I survived the dreaded dinner of doom with the baby-chatters. It was ok, although seriously - I just don't understand how anyone can talk about children so much. I mean, even when I get my baybee, give me a kick up the arse if I ever act like that. Two of them, in particular, seem completely dedicated to turning Every.Single.Conversation back to their children and motherhood in general. Everything - one of the women was just back from the most amazing month-long trip to Indonesia, and still these two managed to shoehorn their toddlers' sleeping habits into a conversation about ferry safety in Asia.

Nobody (except my bestie) asked me a single thing about my situation. This is going to make me sound completely bonkers, but that also gave me a bit of menkul. I know that's crazy. I had sort of built myself up to be open, and then it didn't even come up.

Ugh, MONDAY. I can't cope.

Fabuluce · 22/03/2015 20:00

Thanks Hags, I've got scans booked in for 10 and 12 weeks so I just need to hold on a little longer and hope that this little bean and cling on too. You're right, this IS a different pregnancy and I have an awful lot more drucks on board to help it through too so am still keeping everything crossed but it is a bit of a challenge at the moment. I wish I could go 'ooh growing pains' rather than 'what the fuck was that, is this it??'. I saw a poster on the November bus who's a week behind me who last week had already got a tshirt for her 2 year old that said on the front 'I'm going to be a big sister' and on the back 'November 2015'. I would so love to have that naive confidence!!

Barking, I know there's not much that's going to make you feel better at the moment as it is serious menkul time but please just believe in the process and that your body has done the right thing. I'm keeping everything crossed that those late developers have caught up over the weekend.

Also have you got any cranberry tabs? It might be an idea to keep them at home for when you think you're maybe coming down with a uti. They're the equivalent of about 10 glasses of cranberry juice so much easier to take! Just check with your specialist tomorrow though and make sure they're ok to take at the moment.

TheRainDrops · 22/03/2015 22:58

good luck tomorrow barking! Will be thinking of you and relentlessly hitting refresh for updates.

Random question of the evening: I'm sure I've seen at least one of you mention keeping your feet warm. Is this a 'thing'? I have always had icy feet, is this bad?

Thinking of you today Barking!

cherrycoconut · 23/03/2015 07:03

Rain Emma Cannon of The Baby Making Bible says so too, it's a Chinese medicine thing I think. Leaving no stone unturned I am wearing socks in bed and will be eating pineapple to aid implantation this week!

Just logging in to wave some Pom poms for Barking and send the sturgeon of strength and the cod of calm. What time are you in this morning?

Fab woah, that is incredible confidence naivety to be out already on an 8 week diff. I'm kinda Shock and Envy. Hang in there chick.

May I never become someone who Rams their children down other people's throats like that Bad, or gets too close minded not to see over my own stable door. selfish individuals making our Bad feel uncomfortable. I am full of contempt on your behalf. Counter chunter.

Hags I'm sure this progesterone is affecting my sleep. I'm waking up really early, had the same last time too. It doesn't feel like menkul, I'm just awake annoyingly early!

barkingtreefrog · 23/03/2015 07:38

Just dashing in quickly, on the way to the hospital now. DCW has offered me breakfast twice. Grr. Nil by fucking mouth!!!!
We're booked in for 8, apparently we see the doctor and nurse first which takes about an hour, then the procedure should be 15-30 minutes and I have to wait 1-2 hours afterwards. So don't bother refreshing for an update until 11 at the earliest rain!!
I've got my lovely wool socks with me to keep my feet warm bugs Grin I remember waking up at 2am during the first iui after you'd said that last time and thinking my feet don't feel very warm and getting up and finding an extra pair of thick socks!!!

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 07:40

Cherry Are you doing the pineapple thing? So not-straight-from-the-fridge pineapple core, first thing in the morning?

I also plan to eat brazil nuts!

Was it Rain talking about a fucking '1+1=3' ??? Ugh, that's pretty power chunder!

Fabuluce · 23/03/2015 07:42

Shoving the gizzard shad fish of good luck in your day bag and clinging on to a toe Barking - wishing you the very best of luck for mature eggies Smile see you on the other side!

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 07:42

Go go Barking go!! Got everything crossed for you!

Mmmhh... socks. What a lovely excuse to splash out in some lovely wooly socks. My feet are always freezing too.

Fabuluce · 23/03/2015 07:43

I've eaten Brazil nuts for the past 2.5 years!

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 07:48

Fab I do try to eat them during the 2ww but they are yummy and easy to carry around, while the not-to-cold pineapple core in the morning ... I find it more of a hassle.

I realised on Friday that I've been taking folic acid (as well as all sorts of 'conception' vits) for over three years now. Can one overdose on this stuff????

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 08:09

Ha ha Bugs!

My gyno told me that he doesn't think that those fancy 'conception' vits work any better than plain folic acid but I take some omega 3 oil & b6/12/etc supplements because you never know and they do seem to my hair bouncier Grin

EricaJ · 23/03/2015 08:13

they seem to MAKE my hair bouncier... more coffee please!!

barkingtreefrog · 23/03/2015 08:43

Really fucked off. We are third for egg collection. We're not in until 11. Why the fuck did we have to get here at sodding 8am then?! And I haven't got my knitting with me. 3 hours of waiting, I could have got loads done!! Angry Angry

Fabuluce · 23/03/2015 10:16

Not surprised you're nobbed off Barking - what a pisstake! I'm grrrrrring on your behalf. Honestly, it's not like you need that extra stress is it plus your ovaries are probably throbbing to buggery now. Have you read every copy of hello and ok already?

I'm a big fan of Brazils and had 4 (the recommended dose a day chopped up in my porridge. I'd still be having them were it not for the fact that I massively went off my porridge breaky and everything that goes in it overnight 2 weeks ago. Strange.

I'm on Pregnacare Max as recommended by my specialist as it has methyl folate in it. I have the MTHFR gene mutation which means my body doesn't deal with folic acid so I have to have the methyl folate instead. It consists of 3 daily tabs, one of which is omega 3 and has vit d so is all good. I also have calcium to counter the clexane as it leaches calcium from you apparently but will be stopping that at 12 weeks along with the clexane. Other than that I don't have any other vits as am already rattling with ivf drucks! It will be very odd when I finally go back to just vits again. Just at the hospital at the moment waiting for my rheumatology appointment and to find out if I'm taking steroids until 12 or 16 weeks....

Fabuluce · 23/03/2015 10:19

Oh and I could never be bothered with the pineapple thing. I occasionally tried it but none of my specialists ever advised it so I didn't stress about it. I think you just end up with what works for you. If it comes under the 'too sodding difficult it's making me stress' category and isn't pushed by the docs then don't worry so much Smile

barkingtreefrog · 23/03/2015 11:34

Fuck me, 8 eggs!!! Grin Only two follicles were the right size but she went into the little ones anyway and found some more!!!!! Grin Grin

The collection bit wasn't great, I squealed and asked for more painkillers Blush.

We'll get the call to say how many have fertilised between 8.30-9 tomorrow morning. Still buzzing. 8! and trying to push out the thought that 6 came from tiny follies and might not last the night

The hypnotherapist is coming round to my house at 7 tonight to try and help me stay positive calm me down so I actually get some sleep tonight Smile.

Fab I didn't realise you had the mother fucker gene. One little baddass dude blasting all the folic acid out of his way (that's what it means in my head).

Blue2014 · 23/03/2015 11:38

Not back from hols yet so just popping in quick - good luck barking, hope the very long wait isn't too torturous Thanks
