Great news Barking! Really pleased for you.

Fantastic news Barking! Fx for a great fertilisation rate. Let's get Barry blasting!

Great news Barking sounds much better than you were expecting! Will be pompoming tonight for them.

Gill sorry to hear about your bike accident - glad you and the bike are ok.

Last night went well thanks Beaky. Got home in time to do trigger, had to mix it though which took me ages! Had a premix syringe last time. I'm supposed to be first in tomorrow as natural cycle has highest chance of ovulating early. Went to scan this am and was told I didn't need to go if I'd done my trigger, I'm sure they told me to go yesterday though Angry Pleased to see follie still there though at 19mm.

Have a good day Berries!

barkingtreefrog · 23/03/2015 13:37

Perfect size, kuma Smile. Even if you didn't need to go it must have been good to see it had grown again Smile.

Gillster · 23/03/2015 13:44

Fab news Barking, much better than expected. There may be a couple of immature eggs in there but after reading Rain's, this is a good sign that the eggs haven't overcooked. Keeping everything crossed (although I will have to uncross legs in about 20 minutes Shock) for a fab fertilisation rate. Get the lights down and Barry on repeat!

Glad things are progressing Kuma and you at least had the reassurance of the scan. You can't have enough dildocams or Hycosy type rummaging in my opinion!

Gillster · 23/03/2015 13:46

The gynae outpatients waiting section is very handily situated right across from the antenatal section. Time to install BBB (baby bump blinkers)!

Gillster · 23/03/2015 17:45

So it's all go here! Had the hysteroscopy and no polyps detected however the doctor asked whether I had been bleeding (I hadn't but AF is due in a day or so) as it looked like AF had started. She then called the IVF dept to see if they could take me (think she gave a good case in my behalf). She then wrote me a prescription for the Oestrogen patches, told me to go the pharmacy and then go to the IVF unit to see the nurse before they closed (4pm). I dropped the prescription off and legged it over. Spoke to the nurse and I basically stick the patches on every 4 days until I get scanned on 7th April. If the lining has thickened sufficiently by this point, they'll defrost the kids and transfer will be a couple of days later. If not, then I continue with the patches for a bit longer. Came back to the pharmacy and they only had enough patches for the first 4 days so drove home and then went to the GP to get them to write a new prescription so I could pick them up locally. Have to call back tomorrow after 2pm and hope the prescription has been done and that the pharmacy can get them. Phew! It's been a busy afternoon. Oh and the doc also did another scratch which was much more bearable than the last time due to me taking some more heavy duty painkillers.

Hope you're suitably rested Barking and being waited on hand and foot.

When does your stabbing start Tiger?

barkingtreefrog · 23/03/2015 17:54

Wow, Gillster, this could finally happen!!! Grin Is it feeling real after all this limbo?!

I'm doing ok but very crampy. Got off the sofa to go to the toilet and DH said I looked white as a sheet and I was to get straight back on the sofa (I tried to walk to the kitchen to get something from my bag).
Hoping I'm more comfortable tomorrow or I won't be doing any work from home!

WildflowerMarmalade · 23/03/2015 18:55

Go, go, go, Gillster! That's amazing news. I really like the sound of that doctor. I'm so pleased that she finally put the wheels in motion for you. Let's finally get this party started - and the polyps are not invited.

Glad to hear your DH is looking after you Barking. You'd better do as he says and stay on the sofa.

Gillster · 23/03/2015 19:31

Sounds like they had a good rummage Barking which is probably why you feel so sore. Hopefully a good night's sleep will sort you out.

I'm glad the doc took my word about doing the pregnancy test. When I checked my sample it had gone pretty frothy! Despite rinsing the bottle out about 20 times there must have been some soap left in the bottom Blush

tigerdog · 23/03/2015 21:14

Yes gill! all systems go for you! So pleased to hear that the kids could coming out to thaw very soon!

Great news kuma all sounds ripe and ready to go!

Great haul barking!

Everything tightly crossed, pom poms at the ready, and maybe even a little fertility dance around my room for you three!

Stabbing on Thursday gill. Am down regging for three weeks Hmm because they only do scans on a Thursday and two weeks would probably be too soon. Mr T is taking two weeks off with me at the end of April, so that will hopefully cover EC and ET plus a week of the 2ww.

How's everyone else?

WildflowerMarmalade · 23/03/2015 22:16

Good luck for tomorrow Kuma!

beakybeak · 23/03/2015 23:14

Brilliant news Barking shimmying around like a mad thing over here with my pompoms for you! Will you get a call tomorrow morning? Everything crossed.

Gill fab news as well, definitely loving your proactive dr there! How do you feel about it all?

Kuma 19mm is an excellent size! Good luck for EC tomorrow, I'll be checking in stalking regularly to see how you get on.

Tiger not long! Grin I bet you can't wait to get on with it now?

I had my follow up today, they didn't say much extra to the chat we had when the IVF was cancelled but they are doing antagonist protocol with gonal f and cetrocide (sp?!) next time which I think is what you've just had Barking? But with the pill first to control my cycle. They took my blood for the amh too but said I'll be on the max dose anyway and the result won't make a difference it's really just for my info. Even if it's very low they do a cycle anyway apparently. I'll be starting mid April with the pill so sooner than I thought I'd be.

How's everyone else? Phe how are you?

Gillster · 24/03/2015 06:00

Glad you've got a plan of action Beaky and that you'll be joining us very soon on the treatment bus. Hoping that the different protocol will yield much better results for you.

I feel reasonably positive that things are moving again with my own treatment. I think if anything shows up in the ultrasound then it's just going to have to be regarded as an anomaly rather than a polyp as yesterday's hysteroscopy has shown. I did suggest doing an ultrasound yesterday too so that they could effectively rule this out but the doc and IVF nurse thought this unnecessary, which was my only niggle. Also slightly stressed about not getting enough patches in time. Think it will be an early finish from work to pick up the prescription and scour the area for patches.

Good luck Kuma. Sending positive egg vibes your way and hoping they get a beauty. Will it be a 2 day transfer or will they go to 3?

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 06:13

Wow, it's all go in here!!! Grin

Good luck for today kuma

beaky yes, that's exactly the same as me Smile.

Gillster could you phone around some pharmacies at lunchtime so you know where you can head after work?

Just 2.5-3 hours to wait for the phone call..... Confused If any have fertilised and make it to Saturday I think I'm going to be a nervous wreck by then! Where's my hypnotherapy track......

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 06:16

Argh, knew I'd forget someone! tiger it seems like a couple of days ago you were off to London and giving it a few months before the ivf! I'm sure it doesn't to you though!

Gillster · 24/03/2015 06:35

I have to call after 2pm Barking to see if the prescription has been done. If it has then will probably try and leave just after 4pm to give me time to hit a few pharmacies should I need to. DH has picked a good week to be in London - I'm running round like a blue arsed fly!

I can imagine the next three hours are going to drag Barking. How are you feeling this morning and did you manage to keep that UTI at bay?

tigerdog · 24/03/2015 06:37

...And breathe barking! Fingers crossed for a good fertilisation rate.

Good luck kuma!

Hope you find those patches gill- definitely worth ringing a couple of pharmacies.

Glad you've got a plan in place beaky and you can get underway next month. Did you have to pay for your AMH? My FC charged 100 quid!

Actually barking it does feel like that - the 6 month break has flown by and ivf has come around very quickly indeed. I am expecting time to slow down once the dr starts - 3 weeks of injecting before my first appointment.

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 06:43

gill I'm very glad I'm not going into work! Not feeling too sore, but still very tired. Not sure how productive my working from home is going to be today but I'll try!!
I was telling one of the lovely nurses about my concern over a uti yesterday and a voice came from the corridor 'I've had that as well'! A lady walking past who was in for egg collection as well had heard what I said and said she'd had exactly the same, constantly wanting a wee but not much there when she got to the toilet. Very much reassured me! The lovely nurse did a dip test in a urine sample for me anyway and it was clear Smile .

WildflowerMarmalade · 24/03/2015 08:29

Countdown to Barking's update....

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 09:03

They've still not called wild. They said between 8.30-9. It's now 9.02 and my heart has been beating overtime for the last half an hour Angry.

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 09:19

I've got 7 little potential bat babies! Grin.

Keep the pom poms going please, I want more than one blastocyst from that lovely lot so I've got at least one for the freezer!! Grin

WildflowerMarmalade · 24/03/2015 09:36

Yay!!! Hurrah for the bat babies (love that nickname). 7 is a brilliant result. Pom-poms our for some freezie ones.

The wait to hear about fertilisation is one of the most tense things I've ever endured. No wonder the minutes seemed to drag Barking
