Lucie I think you're probably testing a bit early to know anything yet for sure. My FC sets a test date of 11dp5dt, which I know is relatively late but I'm not sure you'd be likely to get a line at only 5dp5dt. unless it's quads

Still only spotting here. except immediately after sex this morning when MrSmidge thought he'd done me some serious damage . I'm constantly having to rework dates for the FET, and how many days of blood I'll have to give (AliG wants to do blood tests from day 10 til ovulation). Now I'm seriously wondering if maybe I have a double LH peak before true ovulation. Would blood tests be able to tell the difference? Or is there a risk she'll assume ovulation on the first peak and I'll therefore have ET way too early?

Arrghh will the questioning ever cease?!

Smidge I've had the same worries over OV. No blood tests for me, just OPKs. I had a smiley face last night and I've been booked in for the FET but now I'm thinking what if I haven't actually OVd?? I guess we just have to trust the experts!

lucie it's almost certainly too early. I don't believe people who claim to have got results that early - implantation takes place between 6-12 dpo, and likely similar time frame dpt. ANd you can't get any hcg produced until implantation has occurred. stay away from the wee sticks!

Thanks for your kind words everyone else. I'm going to call the clinic tomorrow and see when we can get booked in for another transfer with the last of our embies. Is there any reason that they couldn't do it next cycle? There is no medical/biological reason that they'd want to wait, is there?

Spare hope you're doing ok . We were told we could do the FET straight after our last cycle failed so I wouldn't think there's any reason to wait. We only waited as we'd booked a holiday.

spare gutted to hear about the BFN. I can also corroborate barkings tale of the BFN followed by bfp in BESH land, so will sit and quietly hope that's the case for you too.

Thanks everyone, I know it's early but I am on a facebook group with other women from the clinic and have seen plenty of them get faint bfps at 4 and 5dpt. I was just thinking that maybe as one of mine was fully hatched and the other hatching when they were put back then implantation should have happened pretty quickly. The clinic gives very long testing dates I think to try and catch all cases but the majority would get their bfps way before the OTD.

Oh I am at home now Gill I have this week off work though and am back after the bank holiday.

Gill ET is Tuesday all being well. Having a complete panic now though that I haven't actually OVd. OPK was negative yesterday afternoon, positive at 11pm last night then negative again about an hour ago. I'm only supposed to be testing once a day (in the afternoon) so would have missed it if I hadn't become obsessed done an extra test last night.

Smidge I think the bloodtests will be more conclusive, I had one month like that when I was trying to start an IVF cycle in November and they could tell from the blood tests where I was in my cycle.

Lucie as everyone has said it's surely too early to test - and as Kuma said the other women from the clinic may well be getting the trigger shot registering as BFP.
Happy great that things are on track for your transfer. It's very lucky that you were testing the heck out of yourself. It is putting quite a lot of faith in the OPKs isn't it, maybe they use bloods too? I have no idea how it works but really need to get on top of it asap ready for my turn. I totally get why you feel unnerved by not having much to do after all he faff involved in a stims round.

Gill it's great that you have managed to convince your DH that you are actually finally pregnant! Stay as long as you want.

My detox is going fairly well - although I did crack and have a slice of gluten free squidgy chocolate cake. Cakes and choc are my weakness too Tiger. Felt slightly pathetic as it was only day2 but I had a lunch date and managed to stick to the plan pretty well. And I can confirm that it is me who can only drink real champagne Gill - it's not me so much asy body which protests at anything else by giving me a hot flush and a two day headache.
