Oo minx! They've just had some new tech put into the clinic too so good choice! They got me through pretty quickly after they got my referral as well, so hopefully once yours gets sent, you will get called in ASAP. The waiting is just so unbelievably frustrating though. Sorry to hear about your ex and his differ wife. Hugs.

Batking woohoo to the batbabies! That's great news. How many are you having put back?

Nolly fab news on the exchange! Did you find one to buy too? We just had our offer accepted so thanks all berries for the good vibes! Woohoo. Not sure where we will be living during the next round of IVF though!

How's everyone else doing?

patch77 · 24/03/2015 19:39

Glad to read that everyone is doing well. Still waiting for the weekend so I can test.

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 20:21

Thanks wild, onto the next wait now!
Thanks for the continued pom poms gill/tiger/beaky, keep em going! you'll look like weightlifters by the time the current ivf run finishes

Great house news nolly and beaky Grin Will you be moving far beaky, ie will you be in a different clinical area?!

gill did you get your prescription sorted?

beaky just the one going back, unless they look at quality and decide it's not looking great, in which case they'll put two not so good ones back. She said she was confident we'd get to Saturday though. Wish I had her confidence!! Confused

barkingtreefrog · 24/03/2015 20:24

When is transfer day kuma, do you already know if they're not trying to choose between more than one? (apologies if you've already said).

HampshireBlues · 24/03/2015 20:24

Wow! Such positive news in the house.....Yay to fertilisation rates, starting cycles and proactive Drs! Nernernernernerna Nernernernernerna Batbabes!

Sorry that you are having issues with getting the referral sorted minx I'm guessing the news about the ex would not help though. Will keep everything crossed that the secretary gets a wiggle on and sorts out the letter (shocking turnaround time!!!)

Still none the wiser about my bloods; rang the clinic on Friday, they called back on Monday but I couldn't take the call. I rang back and was told the nurse was on the phone and that they'd get her to call when she was off.....poor thing she must still be on the phone as she hasn't called back! May try the GP and sort out getting the other test sorted. I'm now CD 41 and getting a tad impatient about getting the next cycle under way.

TheRainDrops · 24/03/2015 21:12

Thrilled to hear about the bat babies, excellent result barking!

Any news kuma?

Gillster · 24/03/2015 21:27

Oh Minx, I'm so frustrated on your behalf. I bet that secretary has had no fertility problems of her own. If she had, she'd have been all over that paperwork much quicker. It annoys me when people don't do their jobs properly.

Likewise with your bloods HB, hope you get some answers soon.

Well done on the houses Beaky and Nolly - exciting times.

So sloped off work early and picked up my prescription, took it across the road to the pharmacy but on closer inspection, the prescription wasn't for enough patches and the pharmacy didn't have any anyway. So had to trot back across the road to the doctors and get them to change the prescription and then ask the pharmacy to order them in. So have to go back tomorrow to pick them up which will mean another early finish (I feel like such a slacker this week)!

Whilst driving to the docs T-Rex's "Get it on" came on so think I'll pop that on the iPod for Kuma's egg and Mr K's swimmers this evening Grin

WildflowerMarmalade · 24/03/2015 21:53

Kuma FX for success in the Petri dish tonight.

Beaky congratulations on having your offer accepted. That is super exciting. If you are between places during IVF perhaps you could pitch a tent outside the FC? It would cut travelling time.

Barking hope you are feeling ok and still getting looked after!

Minx sorry that your ex's news has come at a bad time for you. I imagine that must feel like a kick in the teeth. But don't worry, your time will come -as soon as the medical secretary gets her act together-

Gill - what a lot of running around for you! It's not ideal to have to stress about such a simple but crucial thing as getting hold of the medication. It will all be worth it in the end though.

Shattered here, I'm up very early so already in bed. Blush

IamKuma · 24/03/2015 22:09

So far, so good - egg collected and swimmers given a good bill of health - they decided IVF was fine and ICSI not required..... keeping all appendages crossed..... It will be a day 2 or day 3 transfer, depending on how things look.

batking keeping appendages doubley crossed for your bat-babies!

Off to bed now, feel exhausted.

barkingtreefrog · 25/03/2015 06:43

Everything crossed for today kuma, hope the music and pom poms have done the trick!

I'm still quite sore from ec on Monday, I thought I'd feel back to normal by now Confused .

Pixie001 · 25/03/2015 07:24

Barking I was super sore after EC too. Took me ages to fully recover and for the first day was doubled over when trying to walk. Don't overdo anything, be sensible and let yourself be looked after as much as possible. You will get better soon!
I have everything crossed for this next clusterdiff. Pom poms are out, Barry is on and there's space in copter. Thinking of you all, it's terrifying but exciting....good luck!

barkingtreefrog · 25/03/2015 08:03

Thanks pixie, after getting in the shower the pain was so bad I thought I was going to throw up and ended up curled in a ball on the bathroom floor Blush.
I called the clinic and they said it was normal for the pain to get worse as the ovaries swell up and can get twisted Confused.
Called in sick and now on the sofa with paracetamol, a wheat bag and a dog...

Gillster · 25/03/2015 08:45

I didn't feel too bad 2 days after EC but was really uncomfortable on the third day. I was walking in the street and was almost bent double at one point. Felt fine on the 4th day, hope it passes soon Barking.

Come on Kuma's embie!

IamKuma · 25/03/2015 11:35

Unfortunately it didn't work out; fertilisation was abnormal. As the FC contracts out to the place we did the IVF they just suggested booking a follow up with the FC but given we only got one go anyway, it probably isn't worth waiting for and I'm not sure how many experts they even have at the FC. Now need to decide whether to try a third time privately or stop as could possibly do a cycle with the clinic we were contracted out to.

Barking - sorry you're feeling so uncomfortable today, I hope you feel better soon.

WildflowerMarmalade · 25/03/2015 11:41

Really, really sorry to hear that Kuma Sad Big squeeze to you. Look after yourself today.Flowers

barkingtreefrog · 25/03/2015 12:07

So sorry, kuma Sad . Absolutely gutted for you Sad . Do you have another NHS option available then?

IamKuma · 25/03/2015 12:34

No, only one go on the NHS for me so have extinguished my options, other than a follow up with them to talk about what went wrong.

barkingtreefrog · 25/03/2015 13:06

Sorry, kuma I misunderstood your last post. We're just one nhs round as well. Did you prefer this clinic to the one you did your first cycle with?

beakybeak · 25/03/2015 13:27

So sorry to hear that kuma Flowers and Wine whilst you make your decision. Would you do doing a medicated cycle with the private clinic if you did decide to go for it?

Barking hope you are feeling better soon. We will be staying in the same area so no difference with the FC thankfully.

Gill what an effort for these patches! Still at least you will get to use them this time. Any sign of AF? Do you need to wait til she arrives to start using them?

Wild I laughed my head off at the thought of pitching a tent at the FC. They have got a lovely grassy area outside Smile are you prepared for your next round?

Tiger excited for you starting down regging tomorrow! On to the YBR for you lady Grin I found the 3 weeks went over pretty quickly but I was bored of it by the time I went in for the first scan!

HB did you hear back yet? She must be exhausted after such a lot of talking!

Pixie hope everything is going well with you! How far along are you now?

Patch good luck for testing at the weekend

Ee minx I only knew cause they told me! I'll look it up when I'm at home. Keep pestering her in the meantime. Once you get referred they invite you to an info evening and a consultant appointment and then book you in for the treatment. They do long protocol as standard if that suits you, it may be different for you though. I'm doing short/antagonistic next time.
