Ooooooh so much activity in one day! How an earth is a lady meant to keep up??

Keep - totes bonza news re job. Good work! I deffo reckon the permanent one is a good option - give you a bit more security perhaps.

Far OMG there is little left of any rats anywhere! Great job both of you.

Ooooop gotta go - have imposed a new No Electronic Devices In Bed On a Thursday rule and Mr I is on his way back. More tomorrow, peeps.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 13/03/2015 08:17

imps does that mean Thursday nights are for doing other things Wink Wink

far 3 times Shock MrB actually turned down teh idea of sex the other day, though tbh I don't blame him for not wanting to stick anything up there, what with all the progesterone gunk.

keep well done on being offered 2 jobs, I agree that the permanent one is probably best in terms of trying for DC2.

Still stomach achy/crampy here, I'm just telling myself its way too early (10dpec) for it to be anything bad, therefore is must be something good, I hope

farfallarocks · 13/03/2015 09:59

Don't worry brokers, this is pretty unusual, I usually have problems recruiting DH for rat smacking action at the right time, we were away for the weekend, no mini far (who was with the grandparents)

beedle still keeping all crossed

running you clearly got another faulty bum stick, time for a recall!!!

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 13/03/2015 10:37

Go! go! go! Beedle! I found a FrER that I did last Friday which had a very faint grey line. I had sling it in a drawer so out cleaner didn't find it. I found it yesterday when looking for my watch and it now has quite a clear pink line Confused. So, even if a line doesn't show up within the allotted time on testing day, it can come!

imps - no screen Thursday sounds good. I have become a House of Cards addict so not sure I could manage one night with out!

far - smack that rat!

All fine here apart from the fact that I'm knackered. DS had a little friend over to play yesterday and I was absolutely exhausted afterwards - thought I was going to keel over. However, had a nice sleep from 9pm until 8am (DH got up with the DCs) and I feel loads better.

Hope everyone else is doing well. Rubbish weather day day here.

Am in a bot if a quandary as we are meant to be having some friends over tomorrow for lunch. Mum friend has just texted to say that her little girl was sent home from nursery yesterday with D&V. By they time they come on Saturday, she won't be 48 hours clear as still vomiting last night. She has given me the option to cancel. What does everyone think? I feel bad but not sure I could cope with the DC if they got D&V and I got it too. I mean, I would cope, bit I think it could be really Hortid when do exhausted.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 13/03/2015 10:37

Running - sorry to hear your invisible line isn't visible to the naked eye yet. Keep testing!

keepitgoing · 13/03/2015 10:59

gobs depends how much you want to see them. Thurs night to sat lunch is nearly 48 hours it'd most likely be fine
go beedle go!!!

Runningupthathill82 · 13/03/2015 11:29

Beedles - it is DEFINITELY something good. We will brook no argument.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/03/2015 13:14

Come on the Beedle!!!

Gob, I'd cancel. D&V sucks, so I will do anything to avoid it

NoMaybeAboutIt · 13/03/2015 13:16

Posted too soon.

Far, you deserve the Bartlett award for rat smacking!!

Must just be a dodgy batch of piss sticks Run

No screens Imps, sounds like heaven. Have a word with MrM will you?

Runningupthathill82 · 13/03/2015 18:37

Horrendous cramping just now, thought AF must have arrived...but no. I'm still in (whew).
And Gob, I'd cancel. Most likely it would be fine, but if it's not and you end up with a house beset by spewing it'd be no fun at all.
I have distinct memories of having no bed to sleep in and frantically changing sheets at 3am for the fourth time that night after DS puked up in every bed in the house in quick succession. Would def do anything to avoid that again!

hinkyhonk · 14/03/2015 06:59

How are we all doing? My chaps have been tag teaming all night so pretty much been up every hour. Think Im going to need coffee.

Also boobs feeling distinctly fine and not sore at all so pretty sure I'm not pregnant. Usually they are one of the first signs of diffedness. Boo.

Can anyone tell me the crack with drinking during the tww? Do you stop just in case it crack on as normal until that elusive mfp?

Runningupthathill82 · 14/03/2015 07:46

Hinky, I haven't stopped completely, but I've cut down. For example, I'm not drinking in the house at the moment (though to be fair we didn't drink at home much anyway) but I went out for dinner with a group of friends last night and had four small glasses of wine over the course of the evening.
So yeah, I'm not giving up completely, but am taking it steady-ish.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 14/03/2015 08:07

Hmmmm......I texted friend to ask her to let me know how her DD is this morning. Can take it from there. Forgot that DH has to work this morning (damn you emergency patients!) and apparently he sold an old lamp on eBay and the lady is coming to pick it up this morning. So will need todeal with this, in amongst getting ready moan moan

running - I've always drunk during the two week weight. I just felt that my life would be in a state of suspended limbo and it could be quite depressing. If I didn't. I've never been getting g very drunk - just a few glasses,of wine - so felt it was ok.

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/03/2015 08:28

My consultant at the clinic said it was fine to carry on drinking (in sensible amounts) through my treatment. When we were TTC before, I also didn't stop. Any fertilised egg will not share your bloody supply for a good few weeks after implantation.

Feeling your pain on the no sleep front Hinky

Any bum stick action today Running

Beedle, what news to report?

Thinking of you lovely Imps

Hope MrH greys home at a reasonable time Hinky

Runningupthathill82 · 14/03/2015 08:41

NoMaybe - no bum stick action today.
Am going to give my internet cheapies a rest, drink wine this weekend, wait til Mon, and then bring out the big guns - aka the First Response.
Then, obviously, I will be officially diffed. This plan cannot fail.

Imps9 · 14/03/2015 09:04

Sorry for the radio silence Brookers - I've been spending every available second working on my mum's blanket...AND IT'S FINALLY FINISHED!!!

Good plan Running! No way it can fail

Wow that's amazing Imps!!

NoMaybeAboutIt · 14/03/2015 09:21

That is AMAZING Imps!!!!! Your mum is going to love it!!

That plan is foolproof Run

Imps9 · 14/03/2015 09:53

Run, now that is a Plan. In fact, if you look in the Encyclopaedia of Foolproof Plans, your plan comes under C, for Completely Brilliant Rat Smacking Plan.

Re: drinking - Mr I and I have only cut it right down now that IVF has started. Since Jan, he's averaged about 8 units a week and I've averaged about 3. There will be occasions when we have a bit of a binge (eg weddings) but otherwise I will not be regularly drinking until I've stopped breast feeding (Hmm). Mr I is finding it tough and sulks a bit when he doesn't have a drink but ultimately understands that it's actually more important he cuts down given the crap state of his swimmers. I for one am loving sobriety - wish I'd cut down years ago!

Beedle I am so excited about your cramping!! Any decisions re testing tomorrow? COME ON ERIK AND ERNIE!!!

Dammit, can't remember what else has happened. Will check in on a proper computer later and catch up.

OP posts:
Gobbolinothewitchscat · 14/03/2015 10:22

imps - that is absolutely beautiful. What a lovely gift. My mum is very crafty and has knitted teddies for each of the DC and a beautiful blanket which she embroidered. I am very jealous of her skills and need her to teach me. She often knits clothes for the DC too.

DH and I don't really drink apart from the weekend. He will have the odd glass of red on a Thursday. Having DC has massively curtailed our drinking naturally as there is nothing more hellish than looking after DC whilst feeling under the weather. So I certainly don't want a hangover when doing it. This is good practice now!

beedle - soz!!! I forgot to say that I've been thinking of you and Eric and Ernie. Got everything crossed for you, lovely.

In other news: my poor friend has texted to say she's been up all night vomming. So lunch is off. DH is off to work and the DC are napping. I may watch a house of cards Grin. Feeling very lazy

hinkyhonk · 14/03/2015 15:33

Phew re the drinking. Fancy a nice glass of white with my prawn red Thai curry later. Am having my hair done and they are running 30 mins late. Bizarrely I just don't care and I'm just enjoying reading hello in peace...

Confessed to DH that I partook in a stupidly early ic on Friday which was meg. He is sulking that I didn't tell him. Oops. Am goog with rubbings plan but hoping to hold out to Wednesday. It's dh birthday on Friday so we'll either be in a baby glow or an af grump. Hmmm

BeedlesPineNeedles · 15/03/2015 06:52

wow imps that is so lovely, your mum is going to be so pleased

I decided against using an IC this morning as I realised last night that the few I have left are out of date. And I've read that they can give a false positive (due to being too old). So if I'm not going to believe a negative as it might be too early, and I'm not going to believe a positive as it might be false, its seems a little pointless testing at all yet. So we're going to enjoy at lesat a day or two more of hopefullness. I'm still slighly crampy but my boobs are getting less and less sore, which doesn't feel like a good sign for me.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 15/03/2015 07:07

beedles - my sore boobs definitely wax and wane and I didn't really have any with DD. So I don't think it's definitely a bad sign

Will you wait to go back to the hospital to test?

Hope everyone else ok. All fine here - although I would have preferred a later wake up than 6:50 stares at DD
