keep - I'd deffo go for job 1 then. Security can't be under-estimated when TTC

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 12/03/2015 09:28

beedle - agree re: cramping. On Monday and Tuesday (day AF was due) I really thought that AF was coming and I'm still pretty crampy at the moment

I'm excited!

I remember feeling cramping at that time too. But think i didn't mention it for fear i was imagining it. Dammit sunday is far away. Go beedlette and teenybeedle go!!!

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/03/2015 09:52

No the FRER will not be opened on Sunday its too early, I can't just go out and buy another FRER if its negative, they don't sell them here.
You can all get your hopes up for me, I'm too scared to get excited yet.

keepitgoing · 12/03/2015 09:54

An IC will be good too beedle. Yes, we can be excited for you. You just count down those hours until you know. For me the last few days were the worst part of the IVF Flowers
ps i can post you a FRER if you want. Don't they have an equivalent though?

Pastamancer · 12/03/2015 10:03

Beedle it is all sounding very good. I've had d&v since yesterday morning and am STILL pregnant so am relying on you to provide some excitement to get things going.

My induction is booked for Weds, need lots of brooking that I won't need it and will be able to have my planned home birth

Mol It couldn't be more obvious that you want another.

Keep go for job 1.

keepitgoing · 12/03/2015 10:12

oh pasta i was hoepful you weren't here! hang on, can't diarhoea sometime herald labour? i really hope you don't need the induction and can have a HB, but remember that the most important thing is the outcome, and a hosptial birth can be lovely as well. i assume if you are induced you couldn't be in the MW birth centre either?
Wednesday is ages away though. you have loads of time to smack that rat

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/03/2015 10:50

Also had lots of cramping!!! Squeeeee!!! I'm keeping everything crossed for you lovely, hurry up Sunday!!!

Run. I agree with Sparks, it's def too early to be testing. Though I know how tempting those piss sticks are Wink

That's great news on the jobs Keep!! I too would go for 1. But maybe it depends on what you are thinking of doing in the long term. Will you go back after baby no. 2 etc.

Imps, you are such a trooper. A really lovely one. If you're thinking about a career change, what will it be? A is 1 on the 27th. Party is the next day. I really didn't want to do a party, but I've been broken Wink

NoMaybeAboutIt · 12/03/2015 10:52

And come on baby Pasta! He/she will come when they're ready lovely, panic not. I'm guessing they will be out in time to celebrate Beedle's BFP

Runningupthathill82 · 12/03/2015 10:52

Beedle - yes, I am peeing in DS's potty! It involves lots of hovering.

And you are deffo as diffed as can be. When I was pregnant with DS I thought I was coming on my period for days as the cramps were just the same...but happily, AF never arrived!

Molotov · 12/03/2015 11:35

Ah-ha running, I have done the potty trick before! I think it was one of my favourite receptacles ... shame dd2 is all potty trained now and I've thrown it away!

I went to a supermarket this morning and took a peek at the baby clothes. Due to storage issues, I have precious few newborn clothes left (also, I never thought I'd recycle a third time), and they're all so beautiful! I even put together an outfit for my imaginary baby boy. He'd wear a blue and white striped romper suit and a chunky cable knit cardi in cream ...

Molotov · 12/03/2015 11:42

I'm also amused at how obvious my wanting one more baby is ... I particularly like the idea of burning contraception! Grin (I think DH would go for that, too!)

Re. cramps and early pg: I got pg on my 6th cycle of Clomid with dd2 and the month we conceived her, I had strong implantation cramps (didn't know that at the time) and usual menstrual-like cramps, as well as pink-brown spotting. I tested on day 35 of my cycle, simply to rule out pg. The dark pink line instantaneously appeared and I can honestly say that was one of the most joyous moments of my life Smile

FWIW, the pink-brown spotting only stopped after the first trimester.

cartoontrickster · 12/03/2015 12:28

mol for god sake woman go and get thee up diffed , you know you want to Wink.
I am positive that pastas baby and beedles bfp will both arrive on mothers day.
dpo confuses me slightly I've always tested 3/4 days before my period but not sure what dpo that would be.
Took N to soft play yesterday he loved it, nearly killed me though! 40min walk each way then a couple of hours clambering around with him, I was knackered! good exercise though.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/03/2015 12:49

cartoon I do hope you mean Uk mother's day, as I think pasta will be a bit fed up by the end of May (when its Mother's day here!)

mol what more are you waiting for?!! Burn that contraception :o

hinkyhonk · 12/03/2015 12:49

Thought I was being a dick bit hopeful with my implantation cramp chat but they are actual real things?? I was running an event on Tuesday and it was so painful I nearly took something for it but the following day and today all fine.

Hmm interesting...

If I am upduffed then might be tricky to hide it for long as there is an epidemic of it at work so everyone is on the look out for who might be next and I've already been asked several times this week if we are planning on having another.

Right hopeless early testing for crack starts tomorrow when I'll PIAYP*

*pee in a yoghurt pot (empty of course)

cartoontrickster · 12/03/2015 12:50

silly me beedle yes of course! this Sunday.

BeedlesPineNeedles · 12/03/2015 13:38

Despite me saying that 12dpo was far too early for me to test , I've just read what I wrote this time last year (to check whether I had any interesting symptoms before my BFP), and it appears that I tested at 12dpo after my FET and got a positive. I may have to work on MrB and persuade him I need to test then. I'm just worried that we might get unecessarily upset if is negative and then turns into a BFP nearer to OTD. Aaaargh decisions decisions.

Gobbolinothewitchscat · 12/03/2015 13:49

hinky - this sounds v positive. I had (and still have) a bit of a crampy side. Sort of like dull ovulation pains. Plus had AF cramps too. I think any cramps are good!

beedle - Aaargghh. It's v hard. I'm an obsessive tester - partly as I'm a control freak. But, also, I sort of rationalise the pee sticks as just being a snapshot of the testing moment and the only true negative is when AF appears. Soooo......I would say test. But then I understand Mr Beedle's point too totally unhelpful fence sitting post

keepitgoing · 12/03/2015 15:25

and what symptoms did you have last year then beedle ? in a way it's nice to hold out as you can keep the hope. I had a meltdown the day before I tested and decided I didn't want to test....

right I have gone with job 1. so let me start then bring on the FET!! Smile

farfallarocks · 12/03/2015 15:39

imps so so sorry to hear of the BFN, big hugs to you and well done on keeping your pecker up so successfully. You are an inspiration imps. I am sure that next time they can up your drugs a bit and you could also ask about a short protocol which does not shut you down and can help produce more eggs. If you bleeding whilst on progesterone you might also ask them to put you on gestone which are injections (which are horrrid) but are much better absorbed too. Chin up.

beedle this is all sounding very positive indeed! I too was a cramper pre DD, thought AF was on its way (I cried!). You will get a pretty accurate at 12dpo with a FRER, I think they claim 98% at that stage but I understand your reticence. I tested early with IVF and it was a bfn and the next few days were torture, I won't make that mistake.

come on baby pasta that is all I have to say on that matter, hope you are managing to enjoy the sunshine and relax.

Mr Far and I had a great weekend, I got a peak smiley on Saturday and we managed to DTD 3 times (!) and twice on Sunday. Phew. The rat has been smacked good and proper........

farfallarocks · 12/03/2015 15:40

Oooh gobo so sorry I have read back properly, congrats on the BFP, whoop!!

loopy so sorry to hear your news. You are falling so easily, it sounds like you need some luck to catch a good egg.

keepitgoing · 12/03/2015 18:53

far Shock Shock Shock three times and you have a baby? Shock. I feel shamed. there is no chance that rat will get away from you this month!

Runningupthathill82 · 12/03/2015 20:19

Three times Far!?! That's so impressive - you must be SO pregnant I bet your bump is visible already.

I had a load of Boots points today so got a "free" FRER. Unfortunately bought a bum one. Going to wait til Mon now and test again. I'm not good with being patient...

Fox28 · 12/03/2015 21:21

Haha Dino love the Thomas the tank cyber goth fans!! Grin

Congrats on the job Keep!

Very impressed with Mr & Mrs Far!! Shock

I've forgotten everything else I just read, so waves to everyone and passes round FRER's and cake Cake
