Hello!

The witch has turned up this morning (not a surprise thanks to temping!)

I did manage to hold on for one more day though - so that made an lp of 12 days. I know this is a few months of a good lp now so I shouldn't be surprised, but I am still so pleased. :D

Gosh but there is a lot to catch up on. Two things off the top of my head. miss I am not a worrier about stuff that impacts other stuff once I've checked out the stats in med journals and compared it directly to my habits/life. E.g. I will drink a small amount of alcohol and eat good sushi and stand beneath mobile phone masts and go hiking in the mountains and so forth. But steam rooms and saunas are out for me due to the exhaustion it brings on in your own body (bodies always look after number one first, and you're number one, not the embryo or foetus) and to a lesser extent infection possibilities (something getting warm and cosy in your vag might grow even warmer and cosier in your womb. So I wouldn't do the sauna or steam room during spa day. I would drink the glass of champers though, but that's just me.
Sammy (I think it was?) about your med records. I felt really upset for you to hear bout the change in edd which wasn't reported to you after the scan! That's shocking! In early pregnancy the scan parameters are soo-ooo more much more accurate than edd based on menstual cycle. Really sucks that you had to have the induction! Shock

Nice pic purds

This mornings temp back to the 36.7 region after a jump to 37.2 yesterday. Do you ladies who chart and have DC already choose "interrupted sleep" on the ff chart? I havent until today even though I usually wake up around 2am for feeding and around 4am for feeding and then don't really sleep properly at all after that. I try to take my temp about 5.30am before getting up to entertain the DC. screams silently at the injustice of it all But today I noticed the sleep disturbance option on the chart specifics and went back and ticked it for all my days and now everything has got an open dot! Hmm Does it matter? Or should I just untick them all again because this is my "normal" and only have the open dots for when I have temped at a different time?

Interesting article Purdey, I should tell dh to show his colleague. Turns out she is early 30s so not old, just unlucky I guess. Anyway she's pg now so the donor egg worked out!
Yes I have had that test, FSH was 6.4 iu/l - so think that's fine right?

Juney - any news on your sperm?

ginger did you take anything to extend your lp, I'm thinking of trying b6 this month.

My lp is officially 11 days but with spotting from 10dpo and hideous cramps by 11 dpo I can't see how any implanting egg would stand a chance. Confused

purdey lovely photo, Nancy is very cute.
Sammy maybe check with the private hospital see what they say about referring back to Nhs. One of our local hospitals has a private wing and you used be able to pay to see the consultant and he'd refere you to the Nhs ( but you'd still be his patient as he worked for both!). So if you could afford it you get to queue jump. Not sure if it's still works.
I'm on cd 28, still no sign of AF - my temps have upset FF, trying not to get too excited.

Eskimo thanks for the info about the CB dual hormone test. We've done it the wrong way round I think: bonked like mad with the flashes then ran out of steam for the peak!

austral It was me that wasn't notified of change is EDD and ws induced instead at 14 days over original date. It also means I missed out on my water birth as they said you can't have a water birth once you go past 14 days. The whole experience really put me off hospital births.

My first due date was based on an early 8 week scan when he was just a blob and didn't get to see him then as they turned the screen away and wasn't offered a 12 week one (GP made me go to a Marie Stopes clinic because I was young and be lectured about how I wouldn't be able to cope and should consider abortion).

OK temp today, tossed and turned all night, woke up at 4:15 freezing cold, heating had gone off, took temp - 35.0. Gell back asleep til 06:30 alarm, took temp 35.5. Which one should I take note of? Seems a bid difference when i was only sleeping, could I have ov'd inbetween the hours?
