I didn't even realise that the cervix was acidic until dh told me a few weeks ago. Is less meat good missmrs? I have been veggie since I was 14, so hopefully mine should be good. Smile

juneybean · 09/02/2015 22:06

I've heard grapefruit juice is good for CM

dojo123 · 09/02/2015 22:08

juney I wonder if the grapefruit juice is true. Hope so, I have a glass of pink grapefruit juice every morning. Smile

dojo123 · 09/02/2015 22:10

Yep, still hanging about stalking the bus. Thanks for the new thread.

giddy have enjoyed a bit of 'tony heart gallery' this evening.

MrsGingerbread · 09/02/2015 22:15

MissMrs if you temp then remember that a cold can play havoc with your temperatures.

EPO is good for increased cm, as is drinking plenty of water. Remember though you must stop taking EPO once you have ovulated - you can't take it all cycle.

I'm off to bed now - I've got a splitting headache. I wouldn't mind if it was boob ache or another good symptom!

eskimolaura · 09/02/2015 22:17

It's like one of those ancient fertility cave paintings. Once went to see some of those in some caves in France and the guide kept talking about the depictions of the 'Woman's Sex'. All we need to do is surround it with other drawings of buffalo with spears sticking out of them and stick horses.

juneybean · 09/02/2015 22:17

Feel better soon MrsG

Hey juney I'm a nanny too! Just encouraged forced, well not literally but said today is peak day so we are dtd! some dtd action from dh and told him he can have a rest over the next few days! Fingers crossed ladies! Still can't believe how openly we discuss regularity of dtd or AI so openly with a random group of women! It's ace to have somewhere to actually talk about it!

juneybean · 09/02/2015 22:27

And we want children of our own Blimey? Wink

Blimeygirl · 09/02/2015 22:30

I know! We must be crackers! But I do also look after a newborn which really doesn't help the broodiness! Had mega

juneybean · 09/02/2015 22:31

I have an 11 month old and it puts me off a bit... it's when they start moving...

OP posts:
Blimeygirl · 09/02/2015 22:31

Oops don't know what happened there! Meant to say had mega cuddles with him today and he's only two weeks old! Was ace!

ninjabeer · 09/02/2015 22:32

Just marking my place. Nasty cramps tonight so I think I may be getting off at the next stop.

Blimeygirl · 09/02/2015 22:33

Yep juney I get you as I also have 18 month old twins with another family, now that's a handful!

juneybean · 09/02/2015 22:34

CoffeeTwo · 09/02/2015 22:36

Hopping on. Watching those sperm videos. It's just mad isn't it, how it all just happens on its own. I can't believe that's happened inside me once already. Fingers crossed those sperm are fighting hard for all our February eggs!

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 09/02/2015 22:37

Took me so long to catch up on the day's chat that by the time I'd finished there was already another bus.
I know of three people in RL who have used AI successfully, although not that well so don't know how long it took etc, but all had babies.
If the Drs don't think we should used opks why do the cheapie ones say as used by the NHS - what else could they be used for.
Also know of someone aged 43 got pg using opks.
Congrats to the bfp's and Sad for the bfn's.
I have got no symptoms at all AF or otherwise.

mummyofonesofar · 09/02/2015 22:41

So what do we think to bums on pillows after sex? Any help at all?

juneybean · 09/02/2015 22:43

I'm definitely going to try it along with a soft cup.

OP posts:
mummyofonesofar · 09/02/2015 22:45

Yeah I might look into soft cups. Seems such a shame that as soon as you get up to clean yourself up so you don't wreck the bed it all comes back out again. Can't help imagining the little swimmers being flushed away and wasted.

HeirToTheIronThrone · 09/02/2015 22:49

[Hops on whilst bowing to Giddy's art prowess]

Evening all. Fully Broadchurched up and in bed catching up whilst DH watches hideous zombie scary nonsense [enormous wimp face]

Ovia says I can POAS tomorrow... I was going to leave it a bit longer, I will be CD31 but only 10dpo if FF is to be believed - though OPKs suggest earlier... I had the tiniest amount of brownish spotting earlier, which I have never ever had, and temp has gone down a little bit though not below base line... Argh!

Giddymamma · 09/02/2015 22:57

I vote, as I always will, that you poas tomorrow heir. Coffee will be too so you're in good company! Wink I will keep everything crossed for you.
I am fan of legs in the air. I also used a moon cup for the first time this cycle - handy for being able to dtd during his nap time and getting up immediately to make soup for ds's lunch. There are those that say both are a complete waste of time. I say makes me feel better. Smile

GlitteryLipgloss1 · 09/02/2015 23:07

Blatant place marking Smile

FlourishingMrs · 09/02/2015 23:07

Can I get on please, lh surge Friday 30 th jan. poas today and nothing.AF due Saturday. Watching that sperm video has helped me prepare for the worst.

Sparkly123 · 09/02/2015 23:10

Purplecuddly great positive stories there thanks!

mummyofone I always do on pillow, legs raised, because fertility clinic told us to, however I've seen a lot of people say it makes no difference so who knows!

heir eeeeek!!! Excited for you for Tomor! Don't worry if temp only dropped a little. Fingers massively crossed for you!!!

Giddy your artwork is quite wonderful! I really should dig out a drawing the fertility nurse did for me with regards to positions of the cervix during insemination, it was quite something.. Extremely hard to keep a straight face in that appointment.. It got worse- next thing she brought out two beany frog toys... (Stay with me here...) she then proceeded to place "hubby" frog on his knees whilst wifey froggy (me) was lying flat legs wrapped around his waist... This went on for a good five minutes, various positions were explored.. Yes ladies this did actually happen. In an NHS clinic. When she originally asked "have I shown you my frogs?" I don't know what I was expecting...But, it certainly wasn't an amphibian sex show! Shock
