I never had that tori but I heard it's pretty common!

Yesss and lil!!!

I want these birth stories!

lillamyy1 · 11/04/2015 19:19

No birth story here I'm afraid Sad No sign from the little wriggler that he's planning on making an appearance any time soon. I'm so fed up! I slept terribly last night because I was so uncomfortable what with being so enormous and having to haul myself out of bed every hour for a wee and not being able to breathe this ongoing rhinitis and sore throat Sad I'm sure he's going to stay put for at least another week if not 2! Ducky, yes I am booked for another sweep on Weds with my midwife. I'm going to ask her if I can go for yet another on Friday if that one doesn't work as well!! I know they'd probably let me have an induction in a week or so if he's not here by then but I've been reading so much about it and unless it's for a medical reason like it was for Ducky and Siarie, it really doesn't sound like it's good for you or baby unless it's really the last resort and you've passed 42 weeks Hmm
I hope all's well with Siarie. I've been thinking about her quite a bit today.
Tori, my little fella has been very wriggly today as well. And leaky boobs is exciting! I haven't had anything of the sort, and still don't know what to expect from my boobs size-wise, although I ordered a couple of nursing bras from vertbaudet today. I'm currently a 38C but presuming my ribs won't be so wide once this baby's out, so I ordered a 36C and a 36D. Really haven't a clue if they'll be anywhere near the right size though because before I got pg I was a 32C, so almost the same cup size as now but much smaller round the back. Had a discount code though so they were only £11.50 each and I get a free changing bag too Grin Something to look forward to getting in the next couple of days at least, even if this baby doesn't show up until week after next!

Cupcake92 · 11/04/2015 19:49

Didn't realise I cross posted u Tori!
Aw jealous! Leaky boobs is good! I never got them at all and never was able to breast feed DS :(

Lill bless u, he'll be here soon just think he can't be in there forever :) as for bra size I went from a 32C to a 34 E!! Haha!! So mine jumped cup size Instead of back size.

Sat drinking a cup of tea and it's so so so good. I wish I could have more than 2 cups a day! Lol!

Get on the decaf, Cupcake! I've got some decaf Earl Grey and it's gooood. Or try Darjeeling, because it's not as strong so you can have 3 cups Grin

lillamyy1 · 11/04/2015 19:57

I'm just living on raspberry leaf. It's definitely giving me BHs, but they're not very strong.

Cupcake92 · 11/04/2015 21:33

Decaf it is then!
3 cups a day would be heaven!! :)
Sounds silly but it just feels nice to hold a warm cup of tea and read and just relax. Ahhhh :)
Lill i didn't have raspberry leaf but I had raspberry tea and drank tons but I hated so I just waited till it was like warm and downed it! Grin but it didn't help lol!
Pineapple worked a treat. I'm not gonna eat pineapple at all until 37 weeks and see what happens :p

I've attached a pic of DS. He's been acting up lots tonight. Chucking toys everywhere, shouting and running around in circles and refused to go to bed!
In the end he decided to take his pj bottoms off and climb on the sofa and grabbed the iPad and before he's even watched a video he fell asleep!! Haha!! Such a strange child!
1st night In a while he's played up tho.

Hahah omg cupcake, he is so cute! That made me chuckle!

Ds seems to have got day and night confused again Confused he seems to be sleeping a lot and waking up at 4-5 am Confused it seems to have happened since his 16 week jabs Hmm he's not too hungry as he will only have around 2-3 oz.

Have his consultant appt Thursday to be referred to the dietitian about weaning.

What does everyone else plan for weaning? What age? And blw or baby rice?

LuluJakey1 · 11/04/2015 21:48

Just checking in- was hoping to hear from Sairie or Lill. Hope Sairie is enjoying time with her baby.

Lill- they say the last week is the hardest. I never got thete because DH was a bit early. Iwas really fed up by then though.

Ducky, you must be really small built- a size 6-8 is tiny. I am in big 14s or small 16 s and Ilook slimish although I could lose another stone easily. I am 5ft 7 and don't have a narrow frame- widehips and shoulders and long legs. No waist either and not a big bust 36B .

Cupcake92 · 11/04/2015 21:50

Haha thanks Ducky Grin

Aw bless DS ducky, it's hard to keep them awake in the day too as they just want to sleep. Hopefully he'll soon go back to his normal sleep routine.

I really recommend to anyone weaning, fruity porridge. It's nice and sweet and also filling it worked a treat for DS. And also at asda u can get fruit purée pots 4 for a £1 and they are also brill to start weaning with :)

I was looking at them today cupcake! They seem to be mainly dairy free Grin

tori, that's what I wanted to do but think they don't advise it with cmpi

Lulu, I'm 5 ft 1, I always argue for the 1 so quite short! Grin

Cupcake92 · 11/04/2015 22:30

5 ft 7 is tall Lulu! :) I'm 5 ft 3 and a half! Lol :)

Ducky I always argue my half as its extremely important Grin

Tori I could never get on with baby led weaning as if I did DS would never have eaten as I weaned him Young. But I do want to breastfeed till baby is 6 months also :)

Ducky they are also gluten free that's why I used them :) I was told not to give gluten to DS till he was 1 because most of my family are celiac and they said I needed to be able to notice if DS got poorly through change of diet etc. The porriages were brill tho! :)

Right, I'm going to start on the pineapple tomorrow then Cupcake Grin I hope tinned works though because I hate fresh pineapple but really like tinned!
That pic of the DS is so cute! He obviously wore himself out being troublesome Grin
Ducky, that is short! I'm 5'3" so half an inch shorter than Cupcake Grin
Lulu, it's good to be tall, it means you can get away with being a 14-16 and not look chubby.
Talking of which, my feet have swollen so much that when I look down it's as if I'm in an obese person's body! DP thinks it's hilarious!! I haven't got any other symptoms though so it's just major water retention. I can't wear any socks or shoes, only my slippers in the house and flip flops outside!
I'm not sure when I want to start weaning, but I think I'd like to continue breastfeeding a bit until he's 1. That's if we get on ok breastfeeding.
Ducky, I read this really interesting article about babies' sleeping patterns today: www.buzzfeed.com/patricksmith/its-evolution-baby
It kind of goes against everything we expect from babies but I'm really glad I read it because now I know it's kind of the right thing for babies and adults to wake up several times in the night hopefully it won't be so frustrating/worrying when my little man is wakeful.

lillamyy1 · 11/04/2015 23:06

Here are my fat feet! They were actually a lot worse than this two hours ago, but I've had them up so the swelling has gone down quite a bit. You can see my ankles are still quite swollen, but earlier you couldn't even see my ankle bones at all - it was the same width from my calf all the way down my foot!

lillamyy1 · 11/04/2015 23:10

The photo doesn't seem to want to post Hmm

Cupcake92 · 11/04/2015 23:15

What the hell Confused I've just thrown up.... 1st time this pregnancy. Please dont tell me Ms is back but worse?????

Yes Lill get on the pineapple Grin and ur poor feet!! That baby needs to hurry up and make an entrance!

Oh no cupcake! I thought you'd passed the sicky stage. If it is pg-related though I'm sure it's a good sign Smile

Ducky23 · 12/04/2015 03:06

Oooh that was an interesting read lil!

How was ds when he had solids cupcake? That's the only thing I worry about.

I might dr ds on them things in hVe next few months then move to solids at 6 months Grin

I'm going to look at lils feet in the morning! Grin

Cupcake92 · 12/04/2015 08:17

I'm not sure if it was a one off or not Confused it came out of no where I didn't even feel sick so I'm not sure what it was Confused

DS was fine when I tried him. He only ate about 2-3 spoonfuls each time I made him something. But it worked a treat with his sleeping.

OP posts:
Ducky23 · 12/04/2015 08:28

Was that with the porridge he slept?

Has there been anything else worrying you cupcake? I was sick only a couple of random times with ds, the hospital said it was panic attacked Blush

Well ds has woken up with a stinking cough and slight cold Hmm it really is one thing after another. It seems to be whenever he sees SIL dd he gets ill Blush
