Congratulations Tammie Flowers Star Smile That's great news!! It's happened to a few of us on this thread when we least expected it!!
No luck with the oils yet but currently on a very bumpy bus into town because I've got to go to the bank so maybe that'll help Grin I'm 40 wks today.
Aww poor DS, Cupcake. He'll get used to it very soon though, and it'll be so much better for him growing up in a calm household without a mardy daddy!! I hope you have a nice time with him today.
Lulu, that would make me so Angry It's exactly the type of thing DP would do! Men have a totally different idea of what's tidy I think.

tammie49 · 10/04/2015 14:21

Thanks everyone. I actually don't believe it, i bled on and off (very lightly) for 5 days and was so convinced that it was my period that i drank half a bottle of wine! I'm not going to cancel the hospital appt till I've waited a couple of days and taken another test!! I know false positives are practically impossible but if I cancel then we're back at the end of the queue. I must sound like a nutter!!!

lillamyy1 · 10/04/2015 14:24

No, it's better to be safe than sorry. Don't worry about the wine - I drank quite a lot the weekend before I found out I was pg, and thought that the morning sickness I started getting was a bad hangover Grin

tammie49 · 10/04/2015 14:29

thanks, that's reassuring. I think the OH thought I was crazy when I made him get up close and personal with a specimen jar anyway as he was feeling rather proud of himself!!

Ducky23 · 10/04/2015 15:46

I agree with lil lulu, men must have a very different view on 'clean'. it sounds lovely where you live Grin

Lil, hope the bumpy ride works! But not so soon your waters break in the bank! although maybe they will give you some money if they do. Have you tried spicy food and pineapple? Did cupcake say that worked for her? Or was it that it really didn't work?

Don't stress about a bit of wine Tammie, maybe hold onto your appointment, I'm sure they would understand. What exactly was it for? Maybe it could give you information you needed to know if you wanted to TTC in the future?

tammie49 · 10/04/2015 15:59

thanks Ducky. It's an appt at the fertility clinic as we've been TTC for over a year and I'd had some issues with short/light and even absent periods. my doctor referred me after my last lot of blood tests although everything had come back normal.

lillamyy1 · 10/04/2015 16:47

Yes I've tried pineapple and we had a hot curry the night before last. Managed to get DP to dtd this afternoon so fx that works although I doubt it will

Cupcake92 · 10/04/2015 17:47

Congrats tammie!!

Yes pineapple was the thing that helped me. Eat a whole fresh pineapple all in one go lol Grin

I hope Siarie is okay and baby is here!! Flowers

I'm Exhausted lol

I cleared up the mess and DH looked guilty when he came back- said thanks.
We took a picnic up to the country park. DS has a lovely time lying on the rug kicking his legs and he liked all the birds I think.
We have walked miles and on the way home stopped and bought paint for the bathroom- duck egg.
Having a bit of a house purge at the moment.
Lilla- I don't think any of it works. They just arrive when they are ready. Smile
I am 10lbs lighter than I was before I got pregnant with DS. I think it is all the exercise I get walking him. I can get into clothes I have not worn for about 3 years. Grin Very pleased with myself.

Turned head down or turned front to back, Tori?
Lulu, you're very lucky!! Especially that you've lost all that weight in time for summer! I'm hoping to so loads of walking with this little fella to lose some weight too.
I'm feeling reeeeeally sorry for myself this eve. I'm very, very tired but resisted having a nap this afternoon until it was too late. So now just counting down the minutes until bedtime! Also got constipation so feeling quite uncomfortable Blush
I'm trying not to get excited but have been having little period-type cramps on and off for the past hour or so. I really hope this is the start of something but probably isn't Hmm

lillamyy1 · 10/04/2015 20:51

Cupcake92 · 10/04/2015 21:12

Lulu that's brillaint! I'm going to use ur technique once this baby is born and take both DC's on lots of walks :)

Oo Tori is it painful him being transverse? I hope he turns and locks in soon!

Lill thus good news! I hope it's the start of things too!! :) :) :)

Really hope Siarie is okay. Keep checking for an update.

I have my scan in a week and 4 days!! :) yay!

Before ds and dd I was a 10, after dd I was a 10-12 but was pg like straight away, after ds I went down to a 6 Blush I think it was because of the stress of him being ill, am now an 8-10 again Confused am going on a diet to try and get back down!

Problem is here there is no where to walk, the shops are all a drive away as there is busy roads Hmm I want to live somewhere pretty like lulu!

Ducky23 · 10/04/2015 22:06

X post with tori! Grin

It seems to have gone really fast with you tori! I remember you saying about your BFP like it was yesterday!

I loved doing my bag! I didn't use half the stuff in it tho and ended up sending people to fetch what I needed Grin think I got a bit carried away when doing it!

lillamyy1 · 10/04/2015 22:29

Haha I've got two bags packed, and have started a third for DP Grin That will be very exciting Tori Smile
8-10 is a very healthy size Ducky, you don't need to worry about losing more than that!
Tori, I did the same and had a wax 4 weeks ago - I'd forgotten how painful it can be too! Now it could do with another wax but it seems like a bit of a waste of money when there are probably unexpected expenses coming up once the baby's here.
The little cramps I had seem to have gone away Sad I think this boy is going to stay out for a few more days. I'm sooo fed up with being pg now though!!

Ducky23 · 11/04/2015 02:51

It was just my podgy baby belly I wanted to loose Grin I'm very short small too so I don't look slim or anything :,)

Oh no lil Confused were you going back for another sweep?

Cupcake92 · 11/04/2015 07:18

I was a 10 before DS im a 14 now. All because of my jelly belly n I ve not been able to shift any weight at all! So im worried about putting weight on with this baby. My midwife told me to stay away from dieting whilst pg n eat what I want as it's important for baby. N I was told not to exercise in 1st trimester to reduce my. Risk of another mc. Lol Grin I'm doing Lulu's technique and walking it! Walk walk walk lol!

Cmon Siarie where are u?

Ducky23 · 11/04/2015 07:47

Ive started yoga ATM aswell (just the DVDs when ds naps) don't think it will do much good as I can only do it in short bursts! But it's good to stretch! Grin

Ooooo and the waxing lil Shock your brave!!

I know I want to hear from siarie Confused

Cupcake92 · 11/04/2015 11:52

It's nice and relaxing yoga is tho Ducky :)
I'd love to start doing yoga!

Im considering hiring a cleaner to deep cleanse the house I've got rid of all the junk that was in here but it needs a good scrub, skirting boards, windows, etc. Get it done now and once more when baby is due.
Do you think it worth it?

Ducky23 · 11/04/2015 12:06
