I have tried opks but not much conclusive evidence I am ovulating as am BF. Would temping give me a definitive answer?

I'm on CD 17 with EWCM starting to disappear, but so far no positive OPK.... Which I usually get on CD16.

Last month I had a really weird period... Only 2 days and then brown spotting.

Wondering if this means I haven't ovulated this month? Is it a write off?

I have never really managed to get entirely into serious sex, I think it's a very silly thing to be doing, jiggling about inside people like that, so I could never see myself as a dominatrix without having illuminated orifices and a musical bra.
