I've been keeping a low profile as work has been really busy and decided to enjoy the distraction! However, temp drop today and have had spotting (yet again - sigh) over the last few days so suspect I am out for this month. I have decided for next month that I can going to ditch charting, apps, cbfm etc and just go on holiday, enjoy the sunshine and have lots of sex.

Off to see GP tomorrow as this is the third month I have had spotting the week before my AF, having never ever had it before. Just want to check that all is okay...

FX for some more BFPs - if I remember correctly there were quite a lot of us testing over the next few days.

CD29 here and usually would be CD1. Been 28 days regular since coming off the pill. First cycle temping and didn't show ov until CD20 so the fact af hasn't arrived may not mean much in terms of a BFP but at least it looks like it's not an LP problem. Sunday will be 14dpo so expecting AF or BFP then.

On the plus side ibeka I got strange cm too! I got clear stretchy this morning at 9dpo. Really hoping its a symptom along with my achey heavy boobs and constant need to pee (but not in a uti way, just like my bladder is full).

Is it still possible to have period pains and be pregnant? Had them for 4 dya now n AF usually shows up the morning after cramps but nothing..xx

Spinning, if you ov'd yesterday then sex tonight is pointless in terms of ttc. Sex this morning may have been fortuitous as the egg is capable of being fertilised up to twelve hours after release and you may well have ovulated yesterday evening.

Ibeka, I find that FF is rarely wrong; in over three years of charting they have pinpointed ovulation erroneously precisely two times for me. If they make an error it is usually because they have no opk to go off and our temps are a bit wonky due to taking them at the wrong time, rendering our charts full of open circles around the time of ov.

Austral, I strongly suspect you didn't ovulate and therefore there was little or no progesterone rise, leading to a minimal loss of blood.

accidental, it's great you're going to the GP about spotting. Don't let him tell you it's normal - it isn't. Tell him you want progesterone support as you are clearly deficient. I know that sounds a bit bossy - and he may be an informed doctor who takes women seriously - but there aren't many of them about. Good luck. Will you report back to us with his response?

Purdey, yes I thought as much. After our 4am shag we managed to get a quickie in yesterday afternoon and then late last night so think we've got it covered although not sure sperm would have been any good by last night

Oh, and purdey, I know FF is probably right. It was just that the temp rise on 16&17 was so small, then on 17 I had epic quantities of EWCM and pain in left side only of abdomen. Then on 18 there was a huge temp shift! I'm not convinced I believe my OPKs because they were positive 2 days running....

austral please don't be upset. It's not easy for everyone getting pregnant while bf-ing. Your next cycle may just be the one. How often are you nursing?

In other news I met a grandmother at baby group this morning who is 42 and 18 weeks pregnant. Took her 6 months to conceive. I'm so jealous I can taste it in my mouth. She looked 50 and was obese. It's not fair. Why should she have both her tubes and not me? I think I diseased mine with being a slut for all those years

Well CD2 here and I just want AF to be over so I can DTD again and get my BFP.
Also we've had booked (for sometime) a visit to my bro and his girlfriend from CD11-CD14 just when we're meant to be TTC. We are going to try and DTD CD8, 9 & 10. Maybe sneak one in CD12 and then again when were home CD14. Then also try CD15 and CD16 as according to Ovia I am meant to OV CD15. I'm hoping DH can keep up with my plan!! I'm bloody obsessed!

I didn't realise until being on here that dtd when you are visiting/being visited is unusual! DH is always massively turned on if he knows there are people in the next room so I can usually guarantee a bit of action then. He is obviously a massive pervert
