Thank you - if AF arrives again this month I will head to the GP. I think I am ovulating as had positive opk two days in a row this month and did seem to have a temperature spike, though it's my first cycle of doing both so not that sure what I'm doing!

hideandsqueak · 02/02/2015 18:55

Ooh congrats to Rhiannon!

Blue500 · 02/02/2015 18:57

Oh Blueberry amazing pic Smile I can't see pics on my phone so I just had to go to the desktop site to see it.
Must make it seem so much more real now SmileSmile

Miss, if you are having regular sex and you know for sure you are ovulating then I agree that opks and temping are simply more things to stress over. I temp to make sure I'm ovulating and it also tells me I am due to have AF days before it arrives. I also love the obsessive nature of charts Grin

Twinks, I am puzzled by your spotting versus a good prog score. I hope your GP takes it seriously; it isn't right that the womb lining should be falling away prematurely like that.

Woodpigeon, aw..you're a sweetheart. I love looking at charts so post away with your questions! That opk looks suspiciously like it will become a surge within hours..then you've got up to 36 hours to get lots of sperm in situ Smile

59, your time for rumpy has passed if your temp has been elevated for two days.

Ninja, antibiotics have no effect whatsoever on ttc or pregnancy.

PurdeyBirdie · 02/02/2015 19:27

CD11 here..and a week away from ovulation

spinningirl10 · 02/02/2015 19:32

Woohoo Blueberry, lovely photo of baby Blueberry, so excitingSmile

59sound · 02/02/2015 19:42

Thanks Purdey! I'll let DH know he can relax tonight Wink

Rainy34 · 02/02/2015 19:44

Blueberry lovely scan picture of bubba xx

MissMrsMummy · 02/02/2015 20:10

Love the scan photo blueberry! Congrats!

Glad to hear a few of you agreeing about ditching the temping/opks. purdey you hit the nail on the head there when you said obsessive! that's exactly what I'm like and it's not healthy for me! I chatted to DH and he agrees that we know how it all works now and I am ov'ing regularly on cd14 so we'll try less scientific approach this time! Fx for me pleeeease as I am going to the GP in 2 weeks (TTC over a year now) x

victoria401 · 02/02/2015 20:32

Argh! Just been baby bombed on fb again! Not you blueberry don't worry! X

loopylou1984 · 02/02/2015 20:33

Lovely picture Blueberry Smile

Twinkletoes007 · 02/02/2015 20:33

purdey not sure. I guess the spotting will be a problem if my LP isn't long enough. Not sure how long it is but think it's 12 days. Get 3 days of light spotting before AF so potentially into danger territory..

Purplecuddlykoala14 · 02/02/2015 20:35

Too much going on I can't keep up.
Sorry everyone who's had bfn or just a crap time.
Congrats to the bfp's.
cariad rant a way that sucks, but fx you get a Bfp soon.
heir how old are you? If you're over 35, when you go to dr's lie and say you've been trying 6 months, least they can do are some bloods for you.
Found out today of two friends expecting and they are same age as me (38/39)so there is hope for us oldies.
getting my blood test results tomorrow finally - so if the prostregene is less than 30 will they give me something to sort it out?

MaMaPo · 02/02/2015 20:37

Morning all! A big congratulations to Rhi and Blueberry!

Hang in there dojo. What a confusing time.

So, managed to temp this morning and got a nice high one so ff is placing ov at cd12, making me 4dpo. I'm going to get my bloods done this morning, trying to capture my progesterone peak. Fingers crossed!

BUT since typing the above I retrospectively added some data into ff - the second peak reading from CBFM that is automatically generated once the first peak is detected. Once I did that, ff changed my coverline to a dashed one and moved lb back to cd11! Very weird.

I need to stop blathering on about charts and temps! I completely understand if people find it adds to their stress levels but I love the data it provides.

CoffeeTwo · 02/02/2015 20:39

So lovely Blueberry. I've been on the buses since July and saw your journey and I know I don't know you but I'm really happy for you.

mummyofonesofar · 02/02/2015 20:52

Sorry to everyone getting no's

congrats to Rhiannon.

Hope everyone is ok. Cd7 here so not much to report. Though we have started DTD from now. Missed temping the last few nights due to DS getting up too early in the morning and forgetting to temp before alarm went off then I hadn't had the 3 hours.

Riceicle1 · 02/02/2015 21:05

Before I go, I want to pick purdey's brain. My last few cycles have been 28, 26, 28 and now 23 days Sad the last 28 day cycle's af only lasted for 1.5 days, followed by this v short cycle. Any ideas? Solutions? My cycles prior to these used to be 35 days but over the last year have dropped down to a fairly regular 28 until my copper coil came out in October. heeelllpppp!

PurdeyBirdie · 02/02/2015 21:20

mama I would love to see this chart please. Is it the one where I hazarded a guess of ov on cd13?

ricicle I have no knowledge of copper coils and their effect on cycles after removal. Your hormones sound wonky though for sure. Go and ask for day 3 & day 21 bloods.

mummyofonesofar · 02/02/2015 21:28

On a positive note. Went and saw our healthcare assistant tonight who was more than happy to give me a pre baby health check. Checking urine for glucose, dietary advice, is checking what the guidance is re exercise etc and told me to stop worrying about my bmi and to not think about dieting. Which made me feel happy Smile

MaMaPo · 02/02/2015 21:50

Purdey, I think you estimated ov on cd13. Anyway, here are the charts, both with and without that second peak

PurdeyBirdie · 02/02/2015 21:51

What's up with your bmi mummy?

mummyofonesofar · 02/02/2015 21:56

Nothing technically as still in the healthy range but I'm the biggest I've ever been. I've always been slim but can't seem to lose any weight at the min. Bmi is 24.8 which is 4 lb off being officially overweight. My ideal weight means I should lose 5kg but struggle to lose one lb! I know people have far bigger issues than me but used to struggle with my weight and was very skinny at school. Obsessed with dance to keep fit and skipped meals a lot. It wasn't good but don't like feeling big either!

HeirToTheIronThrone · 02/02/2015 22:09

Purple I am 32 - to be honest might just lie... It's truly making me a bit frantic, to the extent I was looking up IVF this afternoon. Though on the good side they changed the rules for my area so you can go up to 39 and still have it on NHS...

Cariad2014 · 02/02/2015 22:10

Woop woop ! What a fabulous scan picture Blueberry. I am SO delighted for you - you have waited so long for this moment. Enjoy every second of it! Grin
