Hello I managed to miss most of the last bus but found you all again.

AF due in 4 days for me. No actual symptoms (maybe some imagined ones) so suspect I'm out.

On cd12 and would appreciate some input from you wise ladies.

Do you think it would be too late to do ovulation tests? I'm not sure when I ovulate but have been recording symptoms on FF. Had ewcm from cd8 but do have discharge on and off before AF so really not sure what to look for. Confused myself with this last ttc and stopped checking after a couple of months. Also I am able to pick some maca root up later today but is worth taking at this point in my cycle?

Sammylou I wanted to reply to your post on the other thread - it's horrible isn't it - today I am seeing a friend who is due next week after having hungover unprotected sex with her DP ONCE. I adore her but the jealousy is shitty :(

Rhiannon I have already done a few internet cheapy tests just because last month I has a 23 day cycle so wasn't 100% sure when AF would come but am assuming it was an anomaly as usually 28 days regularly.

Going to try and not test again until Wednesday if AF hasn't shown up. Did have period style cramps last weekend but apart from that nothing! But didn't have any symptoms last time either until 6 weeks gone.

I'm going out tonight for my friends bday, and I have invented an illness to avoid drinking! (They would know something was up if I only had one or two!) wishing this week flies by so I can poas. (Wonder if I can hold out until Friday?)

This early afternoon we've had a fainter line than yesterday evenings probable positive on the opk, so I think that might just have indeed been a surge lift off! Xf pleeee-ease!!

hideandsqueak I have done some ICs too, all too early of course but I can't help it. I would love to volunteer to wait until Wednesday, but I am very likely to test beforehand, I have terrible willpower! It's only Cycle 1 for me so by the time I've been at it a few months I will either have got used to it or been driven mad by the frustration of it all. Anyway, I have my fx for you and respect your sensible intention to wait a while

Sammy I'm so sorry, it must be so hard for you I totally emphasise. But if it's all you really want.. You must keep going, you must find a way to stay positive. Because there will be a way to make it happen. There is always a way! Keep strong lovely

Mustbemad I'm so sorry to hear this. But you are right to take the positive that it did happen for you. I'm in the same position this month after a lovely BFP last cycle then give days later an early mc.. I had no idea what to do, everyone has been do supportive on here. I started using OPKs cd 8.. Still no positive but some fertile cm past couple days so doing eod at the moment until I get a positive OPK. Decided to jump right back into it as we both felt that's what we wanted to do to move forward. My gp said wait three months- no chance of that! The fertility clinic and doctor at epu said could go when I was ready. Everything is very conflicted so I decided to just go with what I felt was best. I'm sure you will know deep down what you want to do too. You should count CD 1 as first day of proper bleeding I think. I hope so much for you you get another BFP soon, you have now proved you can and that's a real positive to hold on to.

I am just going to sit quietly at the front of the bus for a couple more days until I'm 100% confident in the positive result, then I might, if all goes well, nip on an off with an update and to check in with you guys as this thread and the Jan thread have been fab. Great support, amusing and full of fantastic snippets of knowledge (aiming that last one in particularly towards Purdey who I think is a bit of a star)
