Second cycle of trying...sort of. Tried at beginning of jan but missed ovulation as was at the end of dec. Period due 6th feb.

Am impatient. Want to take a test, but know its just a waste of money!

secretly how sensitive are your tests? the sensible thing to do is wait until af has definitely been missed.

the gingerbread thing to do is po as many sensitive s's as you cant morning and afternoon until u get what is a definite clear line.

if you look through the thread u can see a pic of the first line i got which is barely noticeable at all.

soo sorry for your loss i hope that you are ok Thanks

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 14:56

Sorry Ginger You must have misunderstood me. We haven't lost any, we have a happy 3 1/2 year old. I meant when we tried for him I was pregnant straight away (unless you weren't meaning me in your previous post).
The only test I have done was a Clear Blue Digital. I'm not very clued up on how sensitive which test are to be honest. What do you mean by 'po', sorry I'm not very clued up with all the abbreviations Blush. I was hoping that by avoiding the little sticks that you can use on a daily basis(which I had 1st time round), I'd not drive myself crackers....but I am doing anyway!

Fluffin I used those tests with our first little boy and found myself acting the same way as you so to me you're normal! Wink. Have you been trying long?

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 15:00

Secretly - this is our first cycle but it's kind of complicated for us (my DP is also female). You and I are pretty much at the same place timings-wise I think Smile

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 15:04

Fluffin I'm not sure whether this will be my 1st or 2nd cycle as it will be my 2nd AF that I'm expecting when/if it comes?! Sounds stupid but its taken quite a few months to convince DP (assume that means partner?) to agree to baby No2 so I'm desperate to get pregnant quickly in case he changes his mind. A 3 1/2 year old boy can certainly push the wrong buttons at times....I keep trying to remind him how cute ans squishy babies are! Smile

FluffinWithMyMuffin · 11/02/2015 15:06

Doesn't sound stupid at all. O have a 3yo and they can be enough to put anyone off at times!

Fingers crossed you have good news this month!

I really am going to start using my laptop instead of my iPhone for this thread, I can't keep track of what's happening on my phone!

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 15:33

sorry secretly was meant for someone else who posted about nob sticky bean couldnt remember their name though.

well clear blue digis arent very sensitive frm what i can gather on here. do you have any supermarkets close by? the asda tests can pick up 4 days before af. you can also order 10mlu sensitive strips on amazon cheaply if that helps. i wasnt patient enough and got my bfp before they arrived Grin .

poas = piss on a stick

SecretlyobsessedbyLego · 11/02/2015 15:41

Ginger So maybe testing on Monday was too early then? and the test might be one that's not too sensitive either? I've felt quite nauseous all day today and not much appetite which is unlike me! Well for a 26 cycle today should be AF and for a 28 cycle AF should be Friday. No obvious pains yet to suggest anything going to happen today. I don't even know when to expect AF in all honesty. I guess the waiting game continues Sad. If not successful this month then maybe I'll get the strips again (I know they'll send me into being a crazy testing lady again!). At least last time my craziness was short lived.

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 16:39

well if its today or friday a sensitive test might pick it up? the two pack from asda are sensitive and only about £3 something. might be worth an investment.

i couldnt stop testing but felt like i just knew so had to do it till i saw it lol.

SeldomAthleticFC · 11/02/2015 18:15

Hi. Mind if I join in?
Not sure when AF due as I'm normally 28 days but last 3 cycles have been 27, 27 and 25. If it's 28, I've got a whole damned week to wait.
I had a really vivid dream the other night that a woman was holding up a test to me and saying: you're pregnant! I thought: (a) how can it show anything when AF's not due for ages? and (b) how did you get access to my pee?!
I'm rational in my dreams, at least. In real life, I'm fighting the urge to pointlessly poas. Glad I'm not the only one!! Smile

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 19:23

mine started with a dream seldom lol!

SeldomAthleticFC · 11/02/2015 19:33

That's what I like to hear, Ginger!
Of course, the dream made me convinced I am pg. Sort of half-arsed ttc for 4 months but haven't really given it much thought until this month, thanks to that damn dream! Grrrr...

gingerbreadmam · 11/02/2015 20:37

i kind of felt / dramed id got pregnant and i my dream did 4 tests all bfps then came on mumsnet in my dream and wrote today i am pregnant. guess i convinced myself too hence all the silly early testing but i got there in the end ha.

fingers crossed for you too.

SeldomAthleticFC · 11/02/2015 22:11

Thanks, ginger. And congrats to you!

SeldomAthleticFC · 12/02/2015 16:49

Anyone poas today? I did!
BFN, unsurprisingly: it's 6 days too early for a 28 day cycle (but only 3 days too early if it's a 25 day cycle, like my last one). Either way - too damn early! At least I have no more tests in the house, so I won't be tempted tomorrow.

Pantelejmon · 12/02/2015 17:01

Ginger I had a similar dream last night (I've had a week or so of really vivid dreams) so I got out of bed, poas at half three in the morning and got BFN.

SeldomAthleticFC · 12/02/2015 17:04

Bloody dreams, making us crazy! When's AF due, Pant?

Pantelejmon · 12/02/2015 17:52

Two days ago.

gingerbreadmam · 12/02/2015 18:00

how many dpo are u? vivid dreams r a symptom as well rnt they?

i mentioned it to my mam and she said she had a similar dream just before she discovered she was pregnant with my db her first child and he was also born in october Confused

Pantelejmon · 12/02/2015 18:06

17 dpo. The dreams were amazing with DC1 which is why I find it so weird to have them again now.

gingerbreadmam · 12/02/2015 18:09

u done any tests a little later on?

Pantelejmon · 12/02/2015 18:16

Did another at a more normal time this morning. BFN.

gingerbreadmam · 12/02/2015 18:21

oh damn, are thy sensitive tests how long is ur cycle?

Pantelejmon · 12/02/2015 18:24

Yup, very sensitive tests that should pick up from 10dpo. I used the same ones last time and they worked perfectly (new, in date tests now obviously). Cycles are 26 days but I have very rarely gone to 28 which is why I've been expecting AF today (day 28).

SeldomAthleticFC · 12/02/2015 18:29

Sorry, Pant. Thought you were one of us crazy early testers. Is your cycle regular? Mine's all over the place so I don't really know when AF's due. I had a 31 day cycle a few months ago but recently they've been 27 or less.

SeldomAthleticFC · 12/02/2015 18:30

Ah! Cross posted.
