Bfn clearblue digital day before period...

I usually spot about 2-3 days before my period starts. Period is due tomorrow. No spotting. Bfn on pregnancy test taken this morning (but not first thing..). We are ttc number 2... I thought I was out after the negative digital test but with the no spotting it's keeping me on tenterhooks! I'm also on holiday at the moment and not sure if I should be drinking or not (not held back but not gone crazy...) what should I do? Test in a couple of days if no period? I figured a negative on the day before your period meant you are definitely out though? Sorry, really overthinking things....

Some people don't ever show positive on a urine HPT. Some don't show positive until they're officially late. You could also have ovulated late which means you aren't actually due yet.

Only way to know for sure is if you're still late after a month to see a doc. Personally I couldn't wait that long and went after being later for 2 weeks. It was negative and I skipped my period that month entirely.

Thanks. No sign of period this morning...I got my usual pre period moodiness but that seems to have gone now. All v odd. Period clearly just playing with me and keeping me guessing . I suppose I will take a test tomorrow if nothing happens today. Anyone else had similar?

I think you are in with a chance as the digis aren't very sensitive. I test positive with a Tesco hpt on 8dpo, not using FMU would you believe. I rushed out and got a digi and it said Not Pregnant. So I convinced myself the digi was correct and had a large glass if wine or five over Xmas. The digi was wrong!

Morning! I do hope i am in with a chance but don't want to get hopes up too much after yesterday's bfn! To be fair I did take it using about 3rd pee of day, very diluted - but shouldn't it work anyway?

You're not out yet! Some people just take a bit longer to get their positive. I got mine at 4+2, 4+4 and 4+2 for my pregnancies. BFN before that. I also know some people who didn't get a positive before 6 weeks or so. Test again tomorrow with FMU (yes it does make a difference!) and good luck

Ah thanks tiny! I feel ridiculous, this is my second and I thought I would be v relaxed about the whole thing - clearly not! Also a little paranoid about the wine consumed over past few days, but as I thought I was out I just went ahead should be ok right? I'm going to chill out on that today...

Should be okay. I'd take it easy though until you're sure! I'd say you're still in with a chance though! I've heard the cheap store ones tend to be most sensitive!

Am going to head out in a bit and find a pharmacy, will hold out until tomorrow though. Still no sign of period but am convinced it will show soon!

poppy I'm in the same boat at the mo! Period due today but no spotting or other symptoms. Either it's going to creep up with a bang tomorrow or there is a tiny chance I could have a bfp round the corner, bfn yesterday but not fmu. I keep getting little niggles, I want it to come if it's coming as the thought of a cycle longer than 35 days scares me. Also ttc no.2 but had low fertility when trying for no.1 so hp not holding out much hope as took 7 months to have dd who is now 3. And I'm older now,,,, let's try and stay positive?

Alien!yes let's stay positive definitely - we aren't out until af turns up! With you on not wanting 35 day cycles...thought I had some spotting earlier, v v light though.

If you don't mind me asking have you been trying long ? This will be my 8th cycle and I'm really beginning to feel depressed about it now. All my friends are falling pregnant with no.1/2/3 so quickly and others are having their newborns. Only two friends know I am trying and neither of them live close.

Aarhh just posted a reply but swallowed by MN! It's my 3rd cycle trying alien - so not all that long (but all relative, feel like a lifetime!). I understand about others getting pregnant left right and centre - all my original Nct group are at it, sigh!

I remember reading that clear blue digis are not all that sensitive for early testing. I always use first response!

Sorry but the the only time my period spotted and did mysterious " "am I arriving or aren't I" type stuff was when I was TTC and watching for it.

I took morrisons & tesco tests yday . I have a big night out Saturday with my new mummy friends so if no AF by then I'll do another test with FMU on Saturday.others I did in the afternoon. What tests are supposed to be decent?

Hey alien, how are things this morning, any sign ? Nothing for me yet..Am on holiday in the Alps so will need to head out to get tests parents also with me and hard to be subtle! Wonder if they have the same brands here?

Hey poppy :-) no sign here as yet! Having mild cramps so will see what happens.. Tempted to go poas but also have some cheapie tests from eBay that should be here today. I would have thought it would have showed a positive a couple of days ago if I was?

Ps jealous of being in the alps! Presume skiing? We re off to Slovenia skiing next month :-)

Just done a basic test from the supermarket, not fmu and pretty diluted but I expect one day late it would show up by now - looks pretty negative so looks like I am out

Oh sorry to read that's poppy but still a glimmer of hope until AF shows up? Yes defo have a drink ! I'm going to wait for my cheapies to arrive then poas so maybe this afternoon if not will have to be tomorrow if they haven't arrived.but I have a strong feeling AF is on her way

Yes skiing alien! Although am looking after DD today so DH can ski.feeling a bit down
