Bfn clearblue digital day before period...

I usually spot about 2-3 days before my period starts. Period is due tomorrow. No spotting. Bfn on pregnancy test taken this morning (but not first thing..). We are ttc number 2... I thought I was out after the negative digital test but with the no spotting it's keeping me on tenterhooks! I'm also on holiday at the moment and not sure if I should be drinking or not (not held back but not gone crazy...) what should I do? Test in a couple of days if no period? I figured a negative on the day before your period meant you are definitely out though? Sorry, really overthinking things....

Hi could you tell me if either of you got BFP please? My period is late & no moral spotting signs but despite BFN am hoping I could still be in with a chance

Hey rooroo! Sorry for the late reply - it's definitely possible! Any sign of period yet or have you done any more tests?

I know it’s years later but neither updated how the scans went was everything ok

@Poppytime I am going through the same thing and it is driving me crazy. I have been trying for almost a year and I feel like this time it happened but I got a BFN.

Hi all, I’m new to mumsnet chat so forgive me if I don’t use all the correct abbreviations yet. We’ve been trying to conceive for a very long time now (3 years). Started fertility treatment last September (iui) for unexplained infertility with no success yet. Very sad when we had to stop in March. This month I had signs of implantation (spotting) 8 days after ovulation and very swollen breasts a week earlier than I’ve ever experienced pmt. I usually get this a few days before my period. I also had cramps yesterday evening which is not normal for me. I’m due my period tomorrow. Ive been so convinced that I’m pregnant for the last week but this morning I had very slight spotting, barely visible. I did a Poundland test at 3pm today and got a BFN. My heart is so broken.
I did have 2 decaf coffees and 2 herbal teas this morning so part of me is still clinging onto the possibility that it was too late in the afternoon to be testing and I’d had a lot to drink so hcg levels in my urine could be diluted and undetectable. I’ve also read that spotting is common in the first trimester of pregnancy.
Any thoughts would be really appreciated. I feel very alone/excluded these days as all my friends have children or are pregnant. Thanks. x

Hi @Yellowbird84. Don't be too disheartened, it's not unusual to have BFN if testing too late in the day and before AF is due. You say you've been trying for 3 years, so it's promising that you are experiencing different types of symptoms to normal. Try again on day of missed period with a First Response Early detection.
