Hubby and I are keeping it a secret that we're trying, and I need to speak to people in a similar boat, im newly off the pill and going crazy trying to work out pregnancy symptoms from pill withdrawal symptoms x

hello again!

I'm still in the same boat as you.. it's an awful thing trying to differentiate between hormones settling down and pregnancy! Sad

HollyJenni · 18/01/2015 21:41

I'm 28 lol is that ok? Been trying since sept when I came off the pill.
How are you finding it all?

snowberry86 · 18/01/2015 21:45

Hi! I'm 28 and have been ttc #1 since March. I'm finding it all rather stressful to be honest. Not having regular periods and so not been able to track anything.

HollyJenni · 18/01/2015 21:48

It can become all you think about. I keep having this horrible thought that it will never happen for me as my fella already has kids I know there is nothing wrong with him. All the people I know just seem to fall pregnant dead quickly and it's annoying because I am so ready now x how are you all

cremedecacao · 18/01/2015 22:24

Hi! I'm 25 and TTC after a miscarriage in December, so pretty anxious about trying again. Well, the last pregnancy was an accident so this is our first time actually trying!

McRem · 18/01/2015 22:25

Rachelrawrrr - things have spiralled, spent the weekend crying or falling out with OH. He is not impressed :p actually thought it funny when he suggested I go back on the pill. Not a chance! Seem to be better today and according to opks I ovulated on or around Friday!

Is everyone else's pill withdrawal similar? Iv got spots, in hot, I feel sick, I'm bloated.. Nightmare!

Only good thing is that Iv got a new found libido, something I didn't have at all with the pill!

I am 24, DH and I have been trying since our wedding in September. I know it is only early days but part of me feels so frustrated that it hasn't happened already.

I have never been on the pill, always used condoms. We are not tempting or using OPKs yet, but will be soon I imagine!

cremedecacao · 18/01/2015 22:39

I came off the pill years ago because it was affecting my libido. Much better now and means I am more in tune with my body. I have always known roughly when I ovulate as my sex drive is much higher!

When I came off the pill I can't remember feeling sick, but I remember my skin was a bit spotty for a bit and I lost weight. My boobs got a bit smaller too (but would then swell up at different times of my cycle).

McRem · 18/01/2015 22:58

I get quite bad pains when I ovulate so I had a rough idea when it was, opks then confirmed it so hopefully my organs are working, let's just hope they work enough for a baby!

Oh losing weight would be a dream, and losing some of it from my boobs wouldn't be too bad. I know it sounds silly but even the past week Iv suddenly felt like Iv gained confidence in my body! I'm never going back on the pill though!

We're trying to make ourselves prepared for a few months of nothing, hopefully then when af comes I won't be so disheartened.

Hi ladies

I'm the same came off the pill end of November withdrawal bleed then a crazy wait my last cycle was 32 days and even then AF had a fleeting visit trying to work out when il be ovulating but every twinge and I'm like what's that haha

We're also not telling anyone which is driving me mad as don't feel u can ask did u have this or that

Glad it's not just me SmileI've been researching trying to figure out when the right time is but it's hard to tell when u don't know what ur body is doing lol

cremedecacao · 18/01/2015 23:04

I often get that confident feeling when I ovulate- would this tie up?

I am so impatient. I loved being pregnant, even though I only found out about the MMC at 9 weeks. So desperate to be pregnant again. We're doing all the right things and time is on our side so fingers crossed none of us are waiting too much longer!

cremedecacao · 18/01/2015 23:06

Spicy- there are some really good aps you can use. I have MyDays on my phone. Calculates your fertile period for you. I find it pretty accurate, ties in with other signs like CM etc

spicydaisy · 18/01/2015 23:09

Hi creme

I've been using ovia so according to that I ovulate next week but I'm just worried my cycle is still shot to pieces and I miss the boat but last month I did get the usual symptoms so hoping I get the signals this month

I'm so impatient also Wink keep seeing babies everywhere fingers crossed we all get good news soon

Ps it's so nice knowing its not just me Smile

LemonDrizzleTwunt · 18/01/2015 23:23

I should add that I am 27 and TTC number 1. Have been trying since November. Wasn't on the pill (had copper coil instead) but having to listen to my body for the first time and watch out for signs of ovulation is proving tricky!

rachelrawrrr · 18/01/2015 23:27

Oh bugger Sad sorry to hear that you're going through that! my nausea seems to have subsided for now, but my boobs... oh god the boobs! I'm very ready to rip them off and throw them out the window! Angry still BFN tests Sad wish my body would go back to normal!!!!!!!!!!!

Fingers crossed to all of us Grin

Nevlet · 19/01/2015 07:48

Hi can I join? 24 ttc #1 cycle? As no af since withdrawal bleed coming off pill at the end of last year. We are also keeping quiet to family as dont want the added pressure of both mums asking how its going all the time!

nightandthelight · 19/01/2015 08:13

Hi guys. 26 TTC#1 and about to start trying. Just waiting for AF to turn up (it's due today) but no ususal pre AF symptoms so am worried that it's going to be late which will push back my being able to start :( Lemon I can see that you had the copper coil, was your AF late when you had it out. My understanding was that it wouldnt affect my cycle.

jellypi3 · 19/01/2015 09:21

I'm 24, TTC number 1, been trying since August 2014, although AF only returned to me in October 2014 (the day after I got engaged Grin) after bieng on Depo injection for 5 years. Took AF 8 months to return, think my cycles are starting to settle down (25-27 day cycle roughly). Not sure if I am ovulating but making an effort to DTD every other day! Also using the Clear Blue Advanced Fertility Monitor and taking my basal body temperature because if I am not ovulating I want to know why!

(Oh also hi lemon and daisy - you other ladies should join us js'ers)!!!

McRem · 19/01/2015 13:26

My boobs feel like they have mobiles in them ringing today, what a horrible feeling!
We just got married last year too!
Very very excited..

And impatient, very impatient WinkHmm

hi,
I'm 24 and ttc #1
stopped taking the pill at the start of the month so just waiting for things to happen! no weird withdrawal symptoms as of yet, perhaps a bit bloated but not really noticed anything else- not sure whether I'm pleased or not, I just want to have a normal af and then get going! I just don't like not knowing when it might show up.
good luck everyone Smile

Keyhawk · 19/01/2015 19:00

I'm 24, DH and I are going to TTC starting next month :)) excited!

crazypuglady · 19/01/2015 21:05

I'm 26 and on cycle 3 ttc #1. Came of the pill in October and was surprised to go straight back to a 28 day cycle so started trying the following month. Started temping this cycle to make sure that I am actually ovulating.

Had a very stressful December at work so hoping being more relaxed this month will help provide a bfp!

MummyCoco · 19/01/2015 21:25

Hi All!

I am 26 and ttc#1. I came off my pill nearly 2 months ago and AF showed up 28 days later. My husband and I have been trying since then, very early days but feeling very, very impatient! We naively thought it would happen instantly, don't want to wait any longer!

crazypuglady · 19/01/2015 21:30

Same here Coco. We are surrounded by people who conceived really quickly so our 3 months feels like ages.
