MrsE step away from Google! It's NOT your friend in 1st trimester.

mrsd I really hope you'll have a bubba by next birthday, either in your arms, or inside. Your day will come, it will happen!

When we were TTC this time, I found going on a diet really helped taking my mind off it (I was doing 5:2 and planning to do it again). That's if you need to lose weight of course...

MrsEvansAlmost · 29/01/2015 15:23

I've banned Google for today,!

I still have hidden lemon drizzle cake for you ladies dp shall not be getting that cakey goodness! Grin

TeenieDeenie · 29/01/2015 18:42

Eurgh... Glad that day is over...it's not fair that such a simple comment... "It'll be you next... Ha ha ha!"... can make you feel so hurt and sad. I hate people. Sad

Gr33dyeggs · 29/01/2015 20:25

Hopefully teenie Flowers People have no clue what to say really do they?!

MrsConfusion · 29/01/2015 21:03

Hello ladies
Flowers brummie, what a beautiful way to mark edd, with candle and fizz. I'm planning the same on 23rd Feb. And 5th July. Big unMN hugs

carrot it took me a while to get bfn after November mc, definitely normal to have to wait til 3 weeks so don't panic

North, gr33dy glad you've got good GPs,great to be supported

mrsd Flowers I think of you often, from this thread and other - be brave, trust these trials will pass, hugs

MrsE congeats Grin don't worry about dp, as my mum says, men are just different and they're easier to understand when you realise they don't think like us!

CD 10 here, determined to hit eod this month..... Started well..... Now put my back out! Oops! Wonder if I can persuade DH to hop on (carefully!) and do all the work while I lie here with hot water bottle???

TeenieDeenie · 29/01/2015 21:34

Just think these types of things shouldn't be said full stop, especially when you don't know the person very well (this came from a male work colleague). What if I couldn't or can't have children?... Are they thinking about how women like me feel? No, but because I'm nearly 35 and childless, surely I must be next... And that's funny how? Arsehole. Grrr... Really upset me today.

TeenieDeenie · 29/01/2015 21:36

MrsC I was on a thread with a lady who put her back out ttc, and she got her bfp that month. Then the month I got my bfp, my oh put his back out DTD'in lol! Let's hope it's a good omen Smile

MrsEvansAlmost · 29/01/2015 21:54

teenie I'm sorry you've had a bad day men can be the biggest shits sometimes x sending you big hugs xx Thanks

TeenieDeenie · 29/01/2015 22:06

Thanks MrsE... Glad tomorrow is Friday that's for sure! Hugs to you Xx

MrsEvansAlmost · 29/01/2015 22:09

TeenieDeenie · 29/01/2015 22:21

Ha ha ha... I'd love a piece, I'll pop the kettle on! Smile

chasingtherainbow · 29/01/2015 22:26

Can I get some of that lemon drizzle? Grin

MrsEvansAlmost · 29/01/2015 22:32

cake for all!! Grin Grin Grin

mrsdiddlydoo · 29/01/2015 22:58

Yummy scrummy cake! Thanks mrsE. Much needed. Esp after my sneaky beer after climbing tonight. Oh and chips. Shock

mrsC I hope so. Thank you. Smile just don't feel very strong at the moment.

A good friend... My bestest...who herself had an ectopic at the beginning of last year and is herself recovering from a recent mc yesterday said I was suffering from a very common illness called 'momstoobusylookingaftereverybodyandnotlookingafterherself-itis'

Think she hit the nail on the head for me.

teenie the stuff people come out with never fails to seriously unimpress me. Its just wrong. People need to learn to think before they speak sometimes. Esp at work. Nearly Friday. Nearly there!

mrsdiddlydoo · 29/01/2015 23:01

Oh and mrsC... Definitely. Hot water bottles and dh performing his marital duties... He has to. Grin

Romeolovesjuliet · 29/01/2015 23:09

Hi all, had a follow up scan today after medical management last wk. everything gone but womb lining still borderline thickness for them to term it complete m/c. It's only been a week though and it can take up to 2 so they will see me again next week. In the meantime got to hope my body does its thing. Anyone else with experience of this? Really want to avoid the Erpc but at the same time I'm pretty sick of waiting - this has been going on since 9 Jan and can't help think g if I'd opted for the Erpc in the first place I'd be recovered and almost on to my next cycle by now.

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2015 07:48

Hi all :)
Just popping in to see how you are.
Did someone say cake??? :p

MrsEvansAlmost · 30/01/2015 08:05

I said cake! lemon drizzle? apparently its nice with custard all over it too!!

had a bit of a result last night. told dp how alone I felt after his out burst and deciding he didn't want bean yet so buggered off to bed he came through and apologized and said he was struggling with it but didn't mean any of what was said was just in shock. ( he has no lemon drizzle cake left I gave it to my parents! bad wife to be!!)

Hope you lovely ladies have better days today remember today's Friday!!!! Grin Grin Grin Grin

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2015 08:27

Ooh yum, i could really eat lemon drizzle cake!!!

Just a bit of good news for you all - I had my early scan yesterday at 6+4. I was dated as 6 weeks and saw a tiny flickering heartbeat :)

You will all get there ladies. It's so frustrating, i know.

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 30/01/2015 08:34

MrsE he is going to have to get over this. Having a baby builds up all kinds of sleep deprived resentment but anyone going down the road of 'i didn't want him / her anyway, you forced me' will destroy their relationship in one move. You don't want to spend your life unable to expect him to help with childcare because he feels like this.

Sorry - I only say it because I have a friend with two children and her husband says this all the time. They are still together but he does nothing to help and if she asks for help, he refuses because she promised when she was pregnant that she would do everything because he wasn't certain he wanted the kids. No one should have to live like this so make sure he gets on board now. He is 50% responsible.

MrsEvansAlmost · 30/01/2015 08:47

thanks guy I told him to get his head out of his arse and start looking at the bigger picture. He told me her wanted more children he already has a son who's mother is a horror so he doesn't get to see him much. I said to him if he keeps acting the way he is and pushing away I won't think twice about leaving. it's what's best for me and pip that counts. That seemed to wake him up a bit, its not a situation I want but sometimes you have to be harsh to be kind!
we start saving for a deposit for a bigger house on pay day! I don't earn a great lot so I've challenged him to match everything I put in! ( its also baby money too so hell have a shock at how much I put away!!)

mrsdiddlydoo · 30/01/2015 08:56

Oo flashing smiley... Good start to a Friday and its more than I got last month. Now just need sodding cold to do one...

gingerbreadmam · 30/01/2015 09:29

i dont know how old you are mrse but im 30 and dp 27. he wants a baby he is the one that always says it but i know he doesnt really know what it involves. i am going to do the savings thing when i fall again and i know it will be a struggle to get him on board, i think its just his age though. or i hope ha!

treacle thats lovely news congrats! can i ask how long it took post mc?

i am still convincing myself im pg even tho i know realistically i wont be but for arguments sake can anyone tell me some very very early symptoms im talking 4 days past ovulation lol.

chasingtherainbow · 30/01/2015 09:52

Treacle..such awesome news xxxx

Treaclepie19 · 30/01/2015 09:55

Thank you ladies.
It's still really early days and last time I miscarried at 8+3 but at least baby is there with a heartbeat :)
Last time there was nothing at this stage.

It took me 8 cycles after miscarriage gingerbread.
I was worried something was wrong. I think my body just took a long time to recover.
