told my sisters last night, big sister was very rude ' suppose a congratulations is in order' I'm much closer to her and thought she might be more supportive than that.. middle sister has been the opposite really helpful and talked through things with me!

dreading telling parents! I'm only tiny so can't get away with hiding it for to long! Confused Hmm

Treaclepie19 · 28/01/2015 08:29

Sorry you're having a tough day gr33dy, i must say that I think my body took a long time to recover. I was 8+3 when I started to miscarry and took 8 months to get pregnant again.

SlicedAndDiced · 28/01/2015 08:53

Flowers gr33dy and Reverse.

SlicedAndDiced · 28/01/2015 08:54

MrsEvan the last time my eldest sister said 'oh fuck'. Grin

Middle sister always goes gushy and excited!

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 09:03

I settled my annoyance with marmite spread on cheddar... dp gave a few disgusted looks, silent f off to him! Grin Grin

mrsdiddlydoo · 28/01/2015 13:14

Sorry its been a tough start of the day for some. I got pissing wet through on site visits this morning. After devouring soup and toasties for lunch to warm myself up, I'm now sat eating chocolate digestives in my pants... At home I should add... Grin Waiting for my trousers to dry on the radiator. Wish I didn't have to go back to work. Might have to have some Marmite on toast now to help continue the defrosting/motivation process to get my are back to work.

mrsdiddlydoo · 28/01/2015 13:15

For some reason my tablet doesn' t like the word arse. Arse not are...

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 13:39

been manically googling this morning

how much exercise can you do when pg? is it safe to ride horses? etc knicker check is in full force too doctors in an hour maybe they will helpHmm

gingerbreadmam · 28/01/2015 13:51

i got this from sex and the city so its might not be medically right but as far as i know if you have always done it it is safe to continue. that was in relation to running it could be different with horse riding. definitely check with gp.

chasingtherainbow · 28/01/2015 14:28

As far as I know you can continue any exercise you previously did and we're used to- ie don't start anything new.

Re horse riding I suspect you'd be fine now, however I have a friend who fell from hers in her 2nd tri and poor baby was born sleeping shortly after. As with any accident falling from height it's a risk. As your gp, they will advise you. . Ultimately no one will blame you for being awfully cautious fondly reminiscent about sacking off Zumba and eating icecream for 9 months instead

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 15:07

I'm not going nuts just a steady walk round the village. have stacked off training the 3 year old for now. explaining that to my mum will be interesting!!

doctor has confirmed this eggo is preggo. dd is october, that's a cold month to be half naked in!

gingerbreadmam · 28/01/2015 15:13

hospitals r always red hot u wont need to worry about being cold ha! congrats thats amazing. to a happy and healthy 9 months.

sorry about your friend thats sad.

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 15:46

thank you ginger bread. keeping my fingers toes legs and arms crossed that you ladies get your sticky beans this year xx

chasingtherainbow · 28/01/2015 15:56

It's true.. birthing rooms are always toasty :-D

So excited for you Evans. Looking forward to your scan :)

Today I'm a bit unsure of myself. Next cycle seems so far away and I wish I could just know when it'll happen for us.

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 16:25

4 weeks is a long time to wait for the scan. dp told me he's not happy about sticky bean and has been moping about all afternoon?! Hmm I've hidden the lemon drizzle I made Jim yesterday!

CarrotPuff · 28/01/2015 16:41

MrsE GrinGrinGrin

No one should be entitled to lemon drizzle if they are not happy about sticky bean!

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 28/01/2015 16:45

If you're 4 weeks today, you only have to wait about 3 for a scan

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 16:48

I've got to wait until the 25th Feb as out midwife only comes every other week and they said there won't be much to look at at 9 weeks so I'm trying to be strong and not demand they do it at the next available slot!

your completely right no lemon drizzle for dp! he got a silent fuck off after being so rude about sticky bean! Angry

chasingtherainbow · 28/01/2015 16:49

How can he not be happy about sticky bean after you've suffered a loss! If he didn't want a baby he should have said so and taken precautions. I'm Angry on your behalf

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 17:35

thanks chasing. I think he's in shock to be fair, wed stopped TTC before Xmas so I don't think he thought wed be having one this year. now stressing about house hunting we currently live in a 1 bed flat as and were looking to move this year anyway but now were both in a flap! I've got to be honest he has well and truly tarnished the start of this stickys journey! Angry Sad Sad

CarrotPuff · 28/01/2015 19:34

Sorry MrsE, I wasn't supposed to laugh. Just the thought of you hiding the cake made my imagination go a bit wild...

I'm sure he'll come around.

The flat you currently live in - is it rented or do you own it?

I don't know if it helps, but we bought our house when I was 5 months pregnant. I wasn't really showing, so no one asked when we got our mortgage. We moved in 2 months later and it was fine. So it can be done!

mrsdiddlydoo · 28/01/2015 19:48

Super news from the doctor mrsE! I guess dp is in serious shock. It might also be because he doesn't want anything bad to happen. To either you or eggo. It sounds like its his coping mechanism for now. That or sugar withdrawal symptoms. We're all happy for you. Please can we eat some cake now?

chasing sorry you're feeling unsure of yourself today. Glum January is nearly over. Fantastic February's on its way. Totally understand how you feel though.

I'm trying hard not to open the Wine. Had another sucky day. Feeling so anxious. About not being pregnant. About what if I did get pregnant. About how quickly time is passing but how painfully slow each second seems whilst I'm living it. Bit scared about TTC again this month and how pressured it seems. Barney with dh didn't help. Sigh.

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 20:02

carrot we rent. dp has really bad credit rating and I have non so far I don't think we would ever be able to afford our own house so renting seems to be the only option for now!

sorry ladies I wasn't hiding the cake from you just from dp for being such a poo head! he doesn't want to tell my parent until 12 weeks which is understandable but I want to blurt it out! I told my sisters one was supportive the other wasn't! doctor said to keep talking to sulky dp but he's more in denial than shock

gingerbreadmam · 28/01/2015 20:51

oh mrsdiddly sorry youre having a bad day. have a Wine might help. its hard not to get too into this ttc thing i know. av u bn doing much to try and get ur bfp, opks etc? ive used app and tried to dtd around right time and my dp is hating it. only first cycle since mc so am going to forget about it next month cnt b doing with the hassle. hopefully jus happen when its ready.

mrse im the same as u tiny 1 bedroom rented flat. when i got bfp lastime i thought we would manage a while here but we had jus mved in and i now realise wed av no chance. trying to convince dp to move now but he is Angry about it all. dont know where he thinks going to put a baby.

on the plus side u av a while to sort all that out Smile

TeenieDeenie · 28/01/2015 21:00

CD4 for me today. AF has finished and now starting to think about DTD... Problem is we haven't DTD since my mc started on 14th Dec. mainly because I've either been bleeding, spotting or waiting for AF. Any advice on how to get back to "that place". We both want to get pregnant as soon as we can, just both lost the happy feeling and excitement we had before... I'm hoping once we start, it will get easier...
