mrsdiddlydoo

Grin

It may slightly sometimes maybe come out a little.

Maybe I should work on my decorum a bit.

SlicedAndDiced · 27/01/2015 21:03

MrsEvansAlmost

My dp goes quiet when he is excited too Grin

Of course that makes it difficult to tell when they are actually in shock...

Gr33dyeggs · 27/01/2015 21:15

MrsEA does your GP do pregnancy tests? Mine take your word for it (probably due to costs!)

MrsEvansAlmost · 27/01/2015 21:17

its like getting blood from a stone! all that moaning about not DTD because of AF, so I said you've got 9 months of no AF Wink and his face went so pale!! poor bloke probably thought it would take a bit longer especially after deciding to stop TTC and give ourselves a year off to focus on other things!

MrsEvansAlmost · 27/01/2015 21:20

I want to tell everyone and keep it a big secret too!/dp has wisely suggested waiting until.confirmation from docs and dating?

will they do a dating scan tomorrow? every time I've been pg I've missed it because of mc so early Blush so much I don't know... made dp a lemon drizzle cake to wake him up a bit !

chasingtherainbow · 27/01/2015 21:31

Mrs evans your dating scan will be at 12 weeks or so. Gps don't usually have scanning equipment (or know how to use them) nothing can be seen in the womb until the hcg is around 1500- about 6 weeks along xxxx

chasingtherainbow · 27/01/2015 21:32

Diddlydoo I'm so sorry you are finding it hard to pull yourself out of the fog. Be kind to yourself xx

Also I just completely LOL'd at nylon.

MrsEvansAlmost · 27/01/2015 21:33

that's so long to wait!! Confused Confused

chasingtherainbow · 27/01/2015 21:45

At 12 wks baby is big enough to see to check everything is progressing and growing OK. Right now your precious bean is the size of the tip of a pin. They grow rapidly fast but unfortunately, there is some waiting to do before you get scanned. However if you are worried ask the dr to do hcg bloods. They take them 48 hrs apart and if the number is doubling/tripling then baby is growing well. If not you'll know if not xxxxx

mrsdiddlydoo · 27/01/2015 21:46

Lemon drizzle cake!!! mrsE you are welcome round here to wake me up anytime!! Nom nom nom Cake I don't know about dating scans in your situation. Wouldn't think they'd make you wait till 12 ish weeks but then again knowing how stretched our epu/NHS is ... Anything could be. You could always have a private one for reassurance.

Thank goodness for that sliced. I can think of so many silent fuck off occasions lately. Best last one has to be mil randomly telling dh and I about someone who has had 5 children. It was a really unnecessary and irrelevant contribution to the conversation at the time. Dh was trying his best silent fuck off and really mother eyes at her but she didn't get it.

Thank you chasing.

It makes such a big difference coping with this shit knowing all you lovely ladies are just here. Right I'm off before I start getting soppy. Bloody hormones...

chasingtherainbow · 27/01/2015 21:51

I too love this group!

chasingtherainbow · 27/01/2015 21:52

A private reassurance scan might be good idea for you Evans? Fwiw I had a scan at 6 wks and it was beautiful. . But was literally just a flashing teeeeeeny blob on the screen. They can only see if baby is in the right place really. I had another at 10 weeks and the difference was incredible! !!! So much detail. So don't waste money on a scan too early. X

SlicedAndDiced · 27/01/2015 21:57

Mrsevans the early pregnancy unit in the hospital by me lets you self refer.

The staff there are fabulous and encouraged me to come in if I felt anxious about the pregnancies.

The last couple of pregnancies I was turning up there at 5/6 weeks (you can pretty much just see a sac at 5 weeks) I've always had heavy bleeding and pain on my left side whenever I am pregnant so always end up there. They are very understanding though.

Maybe it might be worth seeing if there are any places like that in your area?

Also: Lemon drizzle cake....drool

MrsEvansAlmost · 27/01/2015 22:09

I think I'll have a search! going to ask the doctor tomorrow to see what they say./I changed doctors about 8 months ago and don't mind being pushy with these lot after they refused to believe I was having a mc!! Angry

dp has come out if his shell when he opened the door and stubbed my toe which lead to lots of tears! hands down to you ladies that already have little ones these hormones are weirding me out already but all for a good cause!!

p.s I will make you all lemon drizzles if you don't mind the middles being slightly sunk in due to impatient stabbing to check for cooked cake! Grin

GuybrushThreepwoodMP · 28/01/2015 06:30

I would recommend not having a scan until 7 weeks. At 6 weeks, it can be seen and sometimes a heartbeat can be seen - but not always. It you don't see a heartbeat you might not feel particularly reassured! You might end up paying for a second scan and having a horrible week when it is just a healthy pregnancy! 7 weeks, there should be a heartbeat visible.

Gr33dyeggs · 28/01/2015 07:07

Sad Looks like shes arrived. Day 22. How long has it taken others to get back to normal??? My first 2 after mc were ok time wise. And I was pregnant again by now after my 1st mc. Do you think its because I was 11 weeks? Like 9 months on, 9 months off for weight? ?? I just want to cry but best not on public transport.

ReverseTheTrend · 28/01/2015 07:09

Just POAS

BFN, hate being in this limbo, don'k what the fuck is going on

Gr33dyeggs · 28/01/2015 07:10

Fuck it. Silent tears are ok.

ReverseTheTrend · 28/01/2015 07:13

Oh dear greedy, looks like we are both having a shit morning.

This too shall pass Flowers

northdownmummy · 28/01/2015 07:19

Oh gr33dy sending you a big hug. Not sure if it's much comfort but I thinkni know exactly how your feeling

OP posts:
mollym14 · 28/01/2015 07:22

Gr33dy poor you, sounds like you're feeling very low. Can you get yourself a nice cuppa and a croissant when you get into work? That's my go-to when there's not much else to be done to improve a situation.

reverse it's annoying it's dragging on for you. Do you know if you ovulated yet? AF should follow 2 weeks behind (if it happens at all in the WTF cycle- if it doesn't then it's anybody's guess)

mollym14 · 28/01/2015 07:23

north good luck at the doctor's today. Really hope they'll be able to help, or at least refer you on to someone who could help

ReverseTheTrend · 28/01/2015 07:37

Molly, no idea haven't been temping or using OPKs as had no idea where to begin in this cycle. Going back to GP on Friday, so may try and discuss if possible in my alloted 7 minutes :S

gingerbreadmam · 28/01/2015 07:58

oh reverse and greedy what awful starts to your day.

greedy if it makes you feel better i sometimes think our bodies need a little rest and time to get back to normal after mc in prep for a new long pregnancy. maybe its just ur bodies way of telling u. not helpful i know but if u had to pick a positive, that could be one. maybe u coul try speaking to ur gp too just for reassurance?

oh no reverse hope you are ok. im sure u said yesterday but are u a lot late? hopefully gp can shed some light on friday.

thinking of u both.

MrsEvansAlmost · 28/01/2015 08:03

thinking of you gr33dy and reverse sending you big hugs and massive virtual bars of chocolate! Thanks Thanks Thanks
