Romeolovesjuliet · 27/01/2015 15:33

Hi ladies, can I join you? I'm currently recovering from my second round of medical management for a mmc discovered at m 12 wk scan. Ended up in A&E on Friday with extreme bleeding so feeling pretty battered and bruised as I was hooked up to drips etc and they had to fish everything out by hand (sorry). Would have been baby 3 for us so I am very lucky to have a 15 month old and almost 3 yr old already. Despite that I am finding this mmc very hard to come to terms with (also had one in my very first pregnancy) as the baby already felt so real and would have had its place in our little family. We plan to wait until I get my next AF but then hope to ttc again - not sure how I will get through another 12 wks but you just find a way, don't you.

Romeolovesjuliet · 27/01/2015 15:34

Going to read back now and try and catch up x

gingerbreadmam · 27/01/2015 15:43

oh romeo how awful its very early days for u i hope u r ok. i had a similar experience with failed medical management and them trying to manually remove, truly awful.

ive just popped on to ask someone for reassurance, if i have 28 day cycle i should ovulate around day 14 is that right? so if i got af 12 jan ov should have been sunday 25?

i have just checked app and downloaded ovia and it is telling me i ov today. dtd lots at wkend but not yesterday and i know dp will be too tired tonite. ahhh id already convinced myself i was pregnant Hmm for info i noticed cm back end of last wk and over wkend but none lasy two weeks altho im all new to cm monitoring.

chasingtherainbow · 27/01/2015 16:00

Oh Romeo. Sorry to hear your current situation. So sad :-( I hope you recover physically quickly and please do stick around x

Ginger which app are you using. For a normal cycle I think the best chance is to dtd eod from cd 10 till cd 18 I think this just covers all eventuality but you are right in saying cd14 should be the day, though if the egg releases on cd14 then obviously you are still ovulating cd15-17 depending on long livity of egg. I may be wrong though as still trying to understand this all too. Do you use opk?

MrsEvansAlmost · 27/01/2015 16:01

that sounds right to me gingerbread. I'm not good at differentiating cm! I know egg white but no idea when it all changes! monitoring cervix was easier I found! although highly embarrassing when dp catches you checking said cervix! Blush Grin

Romeolovesjuliet · 27/01/2015 16:02

Thanks ginger, yes it was hands down the most horrific experience of my life made worse by us having to take DD and DS with us to hospital. I'm sorry to hear you have been through similar. I have a follow up scan on Friday so really praying I don't still have to have the erpc.
I have always had a 27/28 day cycle ov'ing around day 14 - sounds to me like you have it covered -I always aim for days 12/14 and 16 for good luck (if we still have it in us!). Fx for you.

chasingtherainbow · 27/01/2015 16:07

Is anyone here temping? I've never checked cervix but do keep an eye on cm. But I usually have so much it's hard to tell.

MrsEvansAlmost · 27/01/2015 16:14

I found it easier to check cervix as I could monitor exactly what it was doing. couldn't get my head around what's normal at different times for cm

mrsb0710 · 27/01/2015 16:22

My WTF cycle is doing my head in. I know I said we wouldn't stress about TTC until after AF, but its annoying not knowing what's going on.
My ERPC was 31/12. I had a BFP on 16/1 and then a BFN 20/1. Have been DTD as often as possible, haven't really noticed any CM change.
Woke up this morning with a really sharp pinching/stitch like pain in my right abdomen and its been there on and off all day. It certainly feels like ov pain.

Should I OPK or just go with it and wait to see if AF arrives anytime soon?
Wish I could just relax about it, but after my MMC experience, anything about TTC worries me a little.
